Egypt/Saudi Arabia New firmware (10.1.1.A.1.253) for Xperia Z (17/05/2013)

Hey guys,
I just checked the PC Companion and found the latest update here in Egypt so for other users in Egypt need the FTF files if this is different from the other countries please let me know .
I bought my xperia from Saudi Arabia but i'm now updating the mobile here in Egypt so i don't know if this is just for Egypt or Saudi Arabia versions.
I hope i can help anyone need it
Note : find the attachment images for the process of the update using SUS "Sony Update Services"

Same here, got it today.
The phone is better that before
Sony is doing fine job updating this flagship, unlike what happened last year with xs.

Update done and it is much better than before, especially with the white balance option so now i can say my colors is clear

Improved battery and display IMO
Didn't fix the call answering vibration bug
Waiting for my new C6603 arrival

this is great even egypt get it before the uk does..

Got my C6603 at last!!! This is my 1st post with it!! But unfortunately I'm still on 434 , still no update for me. I got mine from eBay USA and I guess it's from Hong Kong or China!
I hope I get my upgrade soon!!!

Yea, but I need a build.prop or a whole ftf. I changed values in my build.prop but I cannot get saudi arabia firmware. Can anyone help me?

Downloaded through Sony PC Companion, decrypted and repackaged by Flashtool v0.9.11.0. Tested on my own Xperia Z, works perfectly. :good:

This is a non-standard way of spitting ZIP files, created by 7-Zip. You'll have to use HJSplit to join them or use 7-Zip to extract them. You could also use this command in Windows Command Prompt to join them:

I believe you can, but you will lose LTE functionality since C6602 has not LTE.

I flashed...system gave an fc as soon as it starts!
I thought it wouldnt..but gave it a try anyways!

Plus I am stuck with roaming issues now and then.. Plus..uk isn't getting the update! And

I've already upgraded to latest firmware. I flashed some software after which my device malfucntioned, so I wanted to flash a new one. Can you tell me how to do it?

There are many generic firmwares available for the C6603 (LTE version). You can just take a glance in the General forum. Any of those firmwares would work fine on your LTE version. There is no compulsion to download an Indian firmware as such. The only thing different might be some of the bundled software and the additional language depending on the region.

The biggest one ive seen so far is under accounts you have no option for the Sony Entertainment account in the central European.
Others who have flashed the 534 have noticed the device not getting as warm and improvements in battery drain in standby.

This is the UK unbranded so if you have the UK device then yes flash this one

The one I flashed has the same name but the file also says Commercial & Journalist.

I would highly recommend flashing the UK one over the commercial/journalist.

Does anyone know what this update fixes? And why is it so small in size!?

Does this one have still no support for LTE ? I bought a UK one but I'm using it in US under TMobile, should I flash this? If so, why? Now I'm on a 14.1.G.1.534_Commercial&Journalist

Does the UK Unbranded version have a "GSM Only" option in Network modes (EE Branded didn't) or just 3G preferred/2G?
3G signal is pretty poor at my house and switching to 2G gives me better battery life and less dropped calls/missed texts.

Its a Iranian Phone. And I am living in India. I recently upgraded to 12.1.A.1.201. But this Firmware is Iranian. So, how can I change it to Indian phone, without rooting or doing something else.
Can I directly Flash C5302_12.1.A.1.201_Generic.ftf ?
