tnx for the info, hoping that huawei will be included in the updates.

Afaik, Verizon's 928 is the only one with Data Sense. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Also if its just an xap, there is a 928 rom on navifirm. There might be a way to pull it from the ffu and deploy it to other phones. The only exception, is it that the phone at the least would need to be dev unlocked. Maybe even interop if it ever happens.

I tried asking the guy in this thread, but to no avail. I would really to have it just in case. I haven't pm'd the guy yet though.
I have noticed it is actually is a feature of the OS. I can't uninstall it. The only option displayed is pin to start. I'll post pictures when I get a chance.

Data Backup

I bought MyBackup Pro or something like that. It has a pretty good UI. I use it mainly to back up texts to their cloud. They have a demo version if you wanted to check it out.
Just root it. Its pretty safe. Make sure you get a recovery that works.

I use titanium backup as just a means to keep the apks of apps I've bought and and downloaded off the market so I can reinstall them after flashing a ROM. Restoring apps + data causes me nothing but trouble as in apps going 'rogue' and draining my battery by not letting my phone go to sleep. A fresh start for every app is recommended.

Ive managed to root it, although the bootloader is still locked.
Are there any simple "one click" ways of unlocking this too?

That's the next update that's in the wings for our phones. This has some new code for Bluetooth and maybe other things I am not familiar with. But with this update alone, I highly doubt tmo will "add" wifi-calling to the N4 or even ever. If they intended it, they would have installed it on the Tmo version/sold by of the N4.
Right, but is it that integrated of an app that someone cannot port it into a custom rom, from a t-mobile phone on jellybean that has wifi-calling?

I don't know the semantics but the gist is not just an apk. I think it intertwines with framework and that's a lot of shifting through code to bring one app to light. I mean there's a thread created with a reward of like over $1,400 to "port" it. lol

That reward thread pretty much speaks for itself then.. lol...
Yeah I believe for ICS it still was an app, and easier to work with. But I did notice that in Jellybean it's no longer in app form, and it seems to be tied into the updated sim cards they are running and I guess, more "baked" into the framework itself.
You would think they would come out with a stand-alone app for ppl without actual T-mobile branded phones..

[APP] BBM Android APK

Hi,
Stumbled upon this file some time ago. I thought it was pretty dodgy at first, but it gave me the ability to register blackberry ID, which i then get a reply email from blackberry.
It then proceed to "setting up BBM" and doesnt progress anywhere from there.
Sounds like a closed beta where only few blackberry ID are allowed.
If anybody want to try, feel free to pick it up in here. Pass is: testonly
Its probably gonna be released next week anyway
Nice find!
Shame we cant login
hi, where did u find this app? i think latest version is ....050 and this one is ...033...
maybe the latest version would work?
Unless somebody can hack it, it wont work...
Only certain BBID's approved by Blackberry work unfortunately.
we can't be sure couse we haven't tried newest version...so, maybe someone has it...?

A discussion about the root tool the original poster posted a link for has been going on in this forum since 12 Sep 2013. Read thread titled [ROOT] SGP312 FTF 10.3.1.C.0.136 Root (No need OTA). Several people have said they successfully gained root access using the tool. Also read threads titled Root for SGP311/10.3.1.C.0.136? beginning at post 14, and [ROOT][SHARE] VRoot 1.6.0.3690 - 1-Click Root Method - Lenovo A706, Walkman F800 etc.
I have bot used this tool. Just wanted to day that on my other tablet (a china retina tab) i allways use a chinese tool with great success.

How does being suspicious about a root exploit that popped up on a Chinese site overnight make me blame Chinese hackers for all my problems as normal? I don't blame the Chinese for anything, I would be suspicious of this no matter where it popped up if they went about releasing it the same way. It is always good to be suspicious about root exploits and to look into it instead of just going with it.
You need to take a chill pill and understand that not everyone is badmouthing people all the time, when they posted a warning to ,make people think before they just went with a root exploit and to double check that nothing malicious is being injected along with it.

There are actually several Nougat ROM's available for the Sprint version of the 10 that support Sprint out of the box and don't require entering the Sprint APN's (ICE, LeeDroid, Bad Boyz, just to name a few).
As far as the official update from Sprint, that's anyone's guess at this point.

I've tried all the nougat roms on the two different 10s that I have in the house and streaming audio doesn't work on either one without a VPN like hotspot shield, became quite annoying. So I'm back on a mm rom until it's officially released by Sprint.
