I just recently switched to the rom goldeneye. It's amazing! I'd like to sync my Facebook calendar and photos and I am unable to with the Facebook app sync options though. Any suggestions or fixes? I know with stock you can sync just about everything from Facebook.

Ubersync only syncs contacts. Haxsync synced my calendar and contacts. No photos. Good for now I guess. Thank you. Anyone else have anything better?

For some reason the Gmail and Xoom email apps will not sync with all my Gmail contacts. Some contacts don't show. All are available through the Gmail website interface.
Any suggestions?

Are you sure you haven't got a filter active in the contacts app on your Xoom? By filter, I mean "View only contacts with email", "View only contacts with a phone number" etc.

Thanks! I'm lucky I spotted this thread! My gmail stopped auto syncing yesterday too, have Google maybe changed something? Anyway, I deleted my gmail data and everything works now.
Did a search and found nothing about this so here goes...
I just activated my Nexus 7 and noticed that it linked up to Facebook
I did away with Facebook over a year ago, now when I launch my MSN messenger app, I have 84 contacts from Facebook listed, all offline
Anyway to unlink Facebook?
Go into settings, Facebook sync, hit options in the Facebook sync page, and remove account

Checked and nothing like this in my settings, only accounts I have listed are Dropbox and Google. Checked Google and nothing for Facebook sync in there.
Also checked settings in my MSN app (MSN Mercury), nothing there either.
Should mention, I'm unlocked, rooted, but running stock.

It sounds more like MSN Messenger imported your Facebook contacts, not your Nexus. When you log into MSN Messenger on your PC or other device, I'll be that your Facebook contacts are still there. If so, then it means that this is an issue with MSN Messenger, not with your Nexus. I would look in your MSN Messenger options and see if there's a way to remove your Facebook contacts.
Am i missing something ? for some reason i cant get my facebook contacts (account) photos to synch up with my google /phone contacts and merge them together. previously on my HTC Evo this was done automatically and i had the option to sync all contacts, sync with existing contacts and this would allow peoples pictures to synch up properly. Is there something with the N4 thats different thats not allowing me to do that. thanks for the advice

This phone doesn't have native Facebook integration as do HTC phones, it's vanilla android after all. So its an issue with the Facebook app and eventually Facebook will fix it but don't hold your breath waiting for them they are slow. Most of my contact pictures synced up but I had some that refused to so I downloaded the app Contact Sync for Facebook and problem solved. This is the best sync app for Facebook I've seen.

I use HaxSync. It's also very good.
I also use HaxSync.
Hey folks,
I've synced my facebook contacts with existing contacts and the images are blurry as hell, like they are a tiny resolution. This used to happen on ICS but was meant to be fixed with Jellybean, seems to have reared it's ugly head again for me.
Anyone else getting the same? and if so have you resolved it?
Thanks,
Ben.
I always use Contact Picutre Sync to sync facebook pictures with contacts

Would recommend Haxsync, it will sync the hi-res images as well as your contacts statuses which appear under each conact on your phone. It also syncs the fb calendar and allows you to set reminders for birthdays and events.
I disable the contacts and calendar sync for fb and just use haxsync to do it all.

You don't get people's phones though. That's why I use Facebook sync in the first place.

Fair enought, anyone I want to call I have their number outside of fb. Just use Haxsync as well as the fb contacts sync, it will automatically merge the contacts anyway giving you the number and the high quality photos etc...

I suppose I could do that. I hope it merges the contacts right this time. Last time i used it, it was throwing contacts all over the place. I had to merge them manually.

I have a new Sprint Galaxy 4. I use Facebook and I use my calendar quite a bit. I do not want all of the Facebook events, birthdays, etc to sync on my phone calendar. I have deleted FB, tried to clear the calendar, everything that I can think of yet I cannot get rid of all of the FB info.
Can someone please help me, step by step to resolve this issue? Thank you!

Read the following page for advice how to clear your calendar.

For syncing I would disable Facebook sync and use Haxsync (available from the Google Play Store) which will allow you to choose what you wish to sync.
Hope this helps.
