For some reason when I stream music in my car the song title won't display on my head unit. I know this a minor issue but I find extremely annoying and I was wondering if anyone else had this problem or if someone knows how to fix it. I'm on CM 10.1 RC1, the problem occurs with play music and Apollo. Thanks for anyone who helps me.

Sorry, it was a (USA related) current news joke............I just couldn't resist.
AFAIK CM10.1 does not support AVRCP 1.3, so it can't be "fixed".
I read somewhere we'll get AVRCP 1.3 support with KLP.

Does anyone know if the audio from netflix will play correctly using the speaker on our phone? Or do I have to use headphones....its not in stereo only mono I think

why don't you just try it yourself...?
audio comes out of the speaker just like any other media sound on the phone. you can use either one.
I meant is there a certain way to get it to come out of the speaker phone correctly. I tried the eq and audio stuff and nothing seems to work. I thought that maybe I was doing something wrong

what do you mean by "correctly"? are you expecting stereo sound to come out of a single speaker?
My best guess as to the OP's actual problem is that the phone is only outputting left or right of the stereo audio rather than joining both sides. If that is the case then yeah that needs fixing.

Having the same problem. All I get is background music and no dialogue. Not sure on a fix at the moment.

does it happen with all content or just specific ones? if it is just specific ones then it is most likely a netflix problem...not an atrix one.

what i mean is...try watching different movies and tv series. it could be just the specific movie or tv series that has the sound problem.

I have a constant crackling for all songs being sent to the receiver. I'm using play music and eos4 doesn't have dspmanager for me to tweak ****

This is what the original dsp mod evolved into. Has some nice settings for compression and other stuff that should hopefully help you out.
Are you using cm10? I get the same issue on this ROM . At first I thought it was my Bose speaker but I downgraded and haven't had that issue anymore.

Its CM10.1. From what I've read changing lpa.decode from "true" to "false" in your build.prop should fix it.
Personally I just flashed back to 12/27.

There's any number of music apps out there that will let you discover new music that's similar to what you like. I'm looking for something that will play music across genres that is completely random. I want to be able to press 'play' and not have any idea what's next.
l'n not interested in anything where you have to press a button to switch genres, or artists, or anything.
Any ideas?

Anyone else having any luck with the NBA Game Time App? Everytime I go to launch the actual stream, it instantly force closes. I tried reporting it to the developers but haven't had any luck troubleshooting the problem. I had it on my Note 2 with 4.3, so I'm thinking that it's a 4.4 compatibility issue.
Just seeing if anyone out there is experiencing the same issue or found a resolution

Gahh okay, glad it wasn't just me, but this is super frustrating! I submitted a ticket to NBA game time and they keep asking me to reinstall, clear cache, etc, and not being helpful at all.
Updated today. Now streams flawlessly.

So, does Slacker work properly for anyone on CM11 or any AOSP rom?
Every CM or AOSP rom I've tried to use Slacker on it does not with properly. It will load and start to play and then it will pause at exactly 7 seconds. You then have to press play again to continue the song. Also, after it starts playing it will skip around the song. Once it gets to the end of the song it will rewind about a minute or so and then will play to the end again then it will start the next song and then pause at 7 second again starting the process over again.
It works fine on any stock based ROM. But it does not work on any AOSP based rom and I've tried them all.
Anyone else with this problem? And if so do you have a solution?

Yes, It works properly on CM10.2. I keep trying CM11 in hopes its been fixed, but perhaps you and I are the only people on here that use slacker. Its a damn annoyance and since I pay for slacker its a deal breaker.
