So i just got a pair of the LG Tones+ which I really like but it sucks that with the S-View case on I can not access the hands free features with S-Voice. I see others have had this problem online but I was hoping someone here has maybe found a work around. If the S-View case is open the S-Voice through bluetooth works fine, if the phone is locked or not. But as soon as you close the S-View case the only thing that works is redialing the last number. I can not access S-voice/GoogleNow. I have tried to set my S4 to no lockscreen and set the S-View to not lock and unlock the device but no help. Kinda making me wanna get rid of this case because I can see myself using the handsfree alot. Any thoughts?

Hi guys. i been playing my new dopod 838 alot. love it heaps. thou its becoming slow atm for sum reason. needs to hard reset later. anyway i was wondering. any of the software developer here keen to try to make it possible for wizard to answer the phone by sliding out the keyboard and maybe the option of ending it as well by sliding the keyboard in? and top of this the ability to answer it automatically using speakerfone when using the slide method? just a thought since slider phones have this feature. some might think is dumb idea while i for one would like such a feature. i didnt believe anyone havent thought of the idea yet. thanks anyways guys. this forum rocks!!
I don't want to come over as negative and whatnot...but thats not really the best idea....in my view anyways.
When my keyboard is out, the last place i want to put the phone is next to my ear. If i wanted someting that big to talk into, i would of bought the Universal !
thats where the speakerphone comes in. say when u are doing something else and not practical to turn on ur bluetooth headset you can just slide the keyboard out and the phone is answered with the speakerphone on. seeing that our wizard have good speakerphone we can make conversation this way.
anyone? is there any registry entry that signals the landscape change when you slide the keyboard out?

I have purchased voice command and like the software, and it seems a good piece of software. However i cannot find a way to operate it with the case closed. The lock buttons when closed option does nothing.
The ability to operate it without opening it would be a god send.
Anyone?
M$ VC only works with lid closed if you are using a blue tooth headset - I have not found or heard off anyone getting it to work using the standard button(s) on the device itself when the lid is closed.
Shame really cause if I want to know the time etc and my BT headset is not conencted then I have to open the lid <time displayed on title bar>....
Shame, as it would make it possible to use the universal as a phone! I dont fancy looking like a borg prototype with a bt head set on all the time. There must be a way around this??
If you are going to make a call with the unit in your hand, can't you simply open the lid first? If you're not using a head set the call quality is pretty bad with the lid closed anyway.

Sorry to post this in this part of the forum but as a newbie I'm not able to post directly to the android development thread.
My problem is that callers can't hear me when they call me but when I call them everything works just fine.
I've searched the forum and have seen some answers like installing another dialer and also that it would be related to the phone being on vibration or silent mode.
I've tried both and I've got some positive results but nothing seems to last. After reboot or just waiting a few hour's the problem seems to return and go away again.
I wonder if anyone has a concrete answers to when this does happen en what to do to avoid if from happening

all works fine for me .. as i know this problem can happen if you are using 3G
try to turn off 3G and make calls

in silent mod microphone is disable in call...
is a problem related to 3G turn 3g off and it will be ok
is anyone else having problems turning the volume back on for apps/media? im not sure what causes it but there are times when i find my phone muted...never recall muting it but when it happens i have to completely reboot in order to get the volume to work...

without rooting the phone and without walking away from touchwiz (sorry it has to many features in there for me to walk away from that i like...) is there anyway to kill s voice.... i don't use it which is great.. but i just got a pair of klipch s4a's and on one of the mic features it causes the s voice to pull up.. ive tried disabling it from settings/applications but obviously to no avail...... anyone have any ideas? by the way the klipch's i'd HIGHLY reccomend..... even with the one mic error all other mic functions work.. you can even use google search with a few taps on the mic with the phone in the pocket... asside from all that the sound is amazing for the price... 100 bucks.. but still imo they easily compete with the 100-200 dollar range..... been there done that... sorry... main thing.. S VOICE.. can we block it out?
