[Q] How to minimize incoming calls? - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I moved from iphone 3s to Nexus 4 :victory:
But...how do I mute and then minimize incoming calls on my nexus?
I'm having a hard time finding it.
Thanks ahead of time

You just press the home button. To mute just press the middle button with all the phone options.

It's simply a microphone with a slash in it.

hmm...I'm using NOVA launcher and that doesn't seem to work with it. Any idea why?

When I want to mute, I just press Volume up or down.

It doesn't matter what launcher you're using. The dialer is an app.
Does it look like this?

I'm reasonably sure there isn't. Try going through the settings (in particular developer options) and seeing whether there's an option like that.

How to get back up to the top of the App Draw

This had been bugging me for ages and I just couldn't find a solution....until by accident. So i thought there might be other out there also wondering.
Q. How do you get from the bottom of the APP Draw back to the top without having to scroll all the way up?
A. Just double tap the notification bar! that's it.
You only need to tap once
Also works for blinkfeed

Sure, you can modify your theme by extracting the apk and replacing the .pngs related to the app drawer. If you just don't want it there, I'm sure you can make it all transparent, but it would seem difficult to access your apps that way.
Indeed - OP appears not to have thought through - no App access without a button unless you hose apps all over the various pages...
Strange.
Or you could just press and hold the apparently drawer icon, the drag it to the top right of the screen.

try this one https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koo.lightmanager most of the options work without root

g2 right now is 4.2 so until everyone has access to 4.4 they need root
That's the other one I tried. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Are there any steps you have to follow?

No you leave that enabled too

After the 1 do you lock the screen
Sent from my LG-D800 using xda app-developers app
You mean lock the screen by pressing the button on the back? After the countdown I press the button on the back of the screen on off. Once I turn the screen back on everything was on the homepage. The light still did not work
