Hi guys, just got myself the note2 galaxy smart dock for my s4 and i have hit a problem, it does not show the screen when connected to a tv with my gs4, tried the wifes gs4 and that shows her screen fine, thinking t might be a faulty HDMI connection on my phone, any ideas ????, thanks.
I just bought a Samsung 32F6400 tv, wich has screen mirroring that is designed to work just with samsung phones/tablets.
I turned on wireless display on my phone, it connects to the tv, and after that i get a 2-3 sec black screen on the tv, and then it says Screen mirroring off/disabled...
Did anyone get this to work on a samsung tv ?
problem with Samsung
I also have a Samsung TV 2013 edition and when I try connecting via miracast it says connected then the TV stops and exits miracast mode, however the nexus 4 did work with my freind's lg smart TV and my brother's note 2 worked on my TV so I'm guessing that the problem is with Samsung not the nexus. And I was using stocl android 4.3 ....:crying:
I'm hoping there's a port to make it work with Nexus phones.. Anyone?

Hello, I have bought mk908ii android tv stick and I would like to stream display from my phone to this stick. Stick has app called wifi display. When I connect with phone using screen mirroring everything looks ok, but stick not display screen from phone. I read that samsung can be connected only with samsung device.
Is there some way or alternative how to share screen? For example with root. I never rooted my device, but I would do it for if that helps.
thank you and sorry for bad English
Hello everyone
A little help here plz
I have galaxy s5 g900h variant and not able to screen mirror my phone with my sony led
It once connected successfully but now it shows connection failed whereas my dad's nexus 5 connects without a hitch
Plz help
thanks in advance
I'd also like to know. I recently got a Sony Bravia w7 and they just won't sync in screening mirror mode. Also tried my partners s5 (unrooted) and she has the same issue. TVs updated and settings checked.
It a bloody ace feature that I'm missing out on so any advice would be great. G900F variant
I too have similar problems! Unable to screen mirror with Sony Smart TV. But checked on other TV. Samsung it works perfectly. Most probably some firmware glitch in Our Indian S5s. Screen Mirroring working well with S4 though in the TV. I guess this problem is there in S5 only and may be in the Indian Versions.
I have contacted Sony today explaining the issue, I'll write any helpful response I may receive on here.

I found a simple solution!!! Screen mirroring stops working after rooting I guess... whatever check this out..,..http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=55233575&postcount=61.. It worked for me on my G900H with Sony Bravia... Though I have to connect using the pin option.. This should work for everyone!!
After updating to official lollipop it works fine
I have recently bought Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime SG-530H. Yesterday I tried connecting it with my Sony TV via Screen Mirroring, But It won't connect. It detects the TV fine. But when I try to connect, It won't stop loading and I get something like 'Failed to connect via Screen mirroring' and on TV also detect and get my Device name. But Give me an Error Message that Registering device failed.
Does anyone run into the same problem with this device? What should I do?
Yes i have the same problem it always shows that message. :/

Are you also trying it on Sony Tv?
I have seen in some other forums that some samsung devices are not compatible with Sony TVs.
Grand Prime does Screen Mirroring. This is confirmed. So it's definitely not device issue.

I have a galaxy grand prime. But it won't scan for devices.. my tv is a Samsung smart tv. What can I do for screen mirroring
I have a TCL smart tv and it won't connect what can I do? I am not even seeing the screen mirroring option so I downloaded allcast and still no connection
1. You can turn Screen Mirroring on or off using the Quick Settings Panel. Swipe from the top of the screen to the bottom.
2. Touch EDIT.
3. Touch Screen Mirroring.

I am using Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime SM-G361H but there are not screen mirroring feature. Could you please tell me where i can find it or enable this feature?
There is no edit button on top of the screen...
You can't if you are on Android N
As google now gives only support for ChromeCast (for Android N and Some Marshmallow roms)
and Most TVs have Miracast
So you cant mirror a Chromecast enabled device to Miracast enabled TV xD
So Please use A Lollipop/Marshmallow rom or Stock based rom for SGGP as they have Miracast
Problem Solved :good: :good:
I am using Samsung Galaxy grand 2 mobile. Which option in this work as screen mirroring to connect with my samsung smart TV
