[Q] Adjusting volume in music player

While trying to adjust the volume on the HTC music player tab using the left hardware volume rocker the music temporarily cuts for about 2-3 seconds before the volume changes. There is no visual volume indicator on the screen either. Also the increments are pretty large.
I am running 1.48
Does anyone have this problem? Help please!

HD2 : manage volume when screen is black

Hi gurus,
I would like to be able to change volume when screen is turned off. Do you have a tweak?
Many thanks in advance
This is true, it gets REALLY annoying especially when I'm listening to music and can't adjust the volume with the screen off. Would love to see this problem fixed, especially since it was alleged that the HTC stock earphones had "volume control capabilities" (sigh....).
Had to resort to choosing between a HTC earphone with "forward", "backward", "call answer" capabilities, or a normal (and much better sound quality) earphone with volume control.
Tough choice eh? So yeah, I'm just typing this to bump this thread up, hopefully this would get fixed soon!!!
I use the HTC Music Player and the volume controls work for me on the side of the phone. Not sure what player you may be using, but I like to use the hardware supported software for reasons like these.

Wooohoo!! Thanks!
p/s: Another question, would u guys have any idea how to reduce the volume bar increments from 3 bars to 1 bar? I know this can be done by adjusting the on screen volume bar via touching it. But using the volume rocker with the screen off while listening to music doesn't actually help, does it? It either gets too loud or too soft when I click on the volume rocker.
Is there any way of doing this without having to use the HTC player?
I have a preference for a different player (pocket player) but wish I didn't have to turn on the screen to access the volume controls.

[Q] Next song by volume buttons

Is there any program which allows to switching songs on Android HD2 by volume buttons when the screen is off? I'm using Mixzing Player.
i use stock player and i can switch songs from volume buttons without any problem... in cm7 roms
yea CM7 its built in and great
I'm using CoreDroid 1.7 and even stock music player don't have this function so i'm looking for some apps. I was also using HeadsetDroid but sound on stock headphones is s..... very bad.

[Q] Headphone controls

Having a few problems with my headphone controls.
1) If I let the phone standby for about 2 mins with the screen off the headphone controls fail to function. It's only until I turn the screen on that the play and stop button begins to work.
2) The volume or skip track buttons on the remote do not seem to function at all.
Does anyone else on HyperDroid have these issues?
Is it kernel related or a HD2 Android port limitation?
It's an issue for me because I ride a motorcycle and a headphone remote would be really handy and easy to press with gloves on.
I'm using Sennheiser MM30i which are mid-range ipod compatible headphones.
The phone is running HyperDroid on the stock kernel.
Thanks!

[Q] Divide the media volume bar into more sections

So whenever I listen to music and the sound is too low, i turn up the volume with one button press. Now it is too loud. When i turn it back down, it is too soft. Is there anyway to divide the media volume bar into more sections?

There an xposed module that makes the slider have 30 steps, it's like xvolumemod or something. You can download it straight in the app.
