New find!! Maybe.... - Xperia Play General

So am I the only one that didn't know about android's secret menus. I just found out and I love it.
Just go to your dialer and type the following sequence. *#*#4636#*#*
These might also work but not sure. (Just found them) The one above works though.

I hate to be the nearer of bad news. The secret menu is part of the services.apk file you'll find in your system/apps folder. This service code has been used by Sony (Ericcson) since days of the xperia x10. A few years. And I am sure other phones have this service mode as well.

no and never will be...
I'm waiting for an app that can turn my phone into a "Transformer" so it can make me breakfast in bed on a morning, maybe do a bit of housework too.
But no doubt that will also never happen. :sighs:
No..try to search on google..many developers are trying to do so..just wait n watch..

Slidescreen Interface - X10

Hi,
Just sharing the interface alternative called Slidescreen. It's very nice, check it out. What do you guys think?
Heres a link demonstrating it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DAEfaaGlVjk
very nice, but i still prefer the old stock home...
i tested the app today, found a lot of bug and feels very awkward. and very less information displayed compared to Timescape. The Twitter and Google Reader is also half baked. I prefer Timescape as home compared to SlideScreen as home. but AmbientTime and ADW are better.
I know the app.
A full widget it would be better than a home screen replacement.
As widget, would be more complete than timescape.
Timescape?

Well, this is the best and highest selling and the most famous app in android market. I was almost forgot to mention that it was developed by the most sophisticated developer "SONY ericsson" in the world.
Note: if you feel any lag, your phone is faulty not the software.(oops, they manufacture the phone as well)

My verry simple solution:
W8->PC
Android->Phone
Done, this is the truth, every OS is the best on only one platform
X8!nv!s!bLe via Xperia X8
That's right I admit it.
But we can't predict future right now android has a good position. So symbian had it 3 or 4 years ago...maybe someday another OS will become popular.

PSN was undergoing maintenance:
" Oh, dear. The PlayStation Network maintenance that was supposed to end Thursday evening but was extended to Friday morning and then extended to Friday night has now been extended to early Saturday morning. The official PlayStation Knowledge Center is now saying the maintenance that's keeping all users from the PlayStation Store and some users from logging into the PlayStation Network at all has been extended to Saturday 2 a.m. Pacific / 5 a.m. Eastern. We'll keep you updated if that changes."

Hi anjath
I use Kasperky mobile security, you can lock, wipe, locate, and even take a mug shot of who's using your phone, got a free copy with the desktop version, bargain!

Didn't get it with my unbranded one. It's still provided as beta version in Scandinavia. But here on XDA the apk is available and you can use it in every region.
Installed it today. You can locate your phone, lock it with a four digit pin and a note for the person who found your phone and use an alarm to find it.
