Most apps download fine, but some can't download or update. They are stuck on downloading... forever.
That problem persists since the day one, regardless of the rom i use. It was like that on stock, slim 6.0, newest paranoid android, CM 10.1, and now on slim 6.2 nightly.
The usual steps from google support page don't help, and my Galaxy S now has that problem too with the same apps and I'm 100% sure it was OK before i got Nexus 7. Any ideas what may be the cause of this?
edit: OK, restarting my router helped lol...

Hi all, I would post this in the development forum on installing the CM 10.2 ROM (cm-10.2-20130925-UNOFFICIAL-expressatt.zip) on the Samsung Galaxy Express i437, but I don't yet have the status to do so.
In any case, I have rooted and attempted to install the CM 10.2 ROM several times, and although I can install it, I keep getting the message 'Unfortunately, Android Keyboard (AOSP) has stopped.' In an attempt to make sure my bases are covered, I've installed the I437-UCDMG3-bootloader_update.tar file, gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip file (which, after installation, says the apps are for 4.2.2, not 4.3). I am using CW recovery 6.0.3.7 and SuperSU-v1.25+.zip. Can anyone give me any insights into what I should do? I haven't seen this issue reported anywhere and it appears to be the only thing stopping me from running this ROM.
Thanks for your help.

OK so after much trouble shooting, I found that Gapps from Paranoid Android, which supports 4.4, is the culprit. I ran plain old OMNI ROM all day without a single freeze.
Then I decided to try installing ONLY Gapps and bingo.
As soon as I had it all set up, everything froze.
So, how do I get Gapps on my phone without having it freeze?
Phone is N7100
Omnirom is 11/28 nightly
Gapps is 11/26 Full from Paranoid Android.
Thank you thank you thank you....
Hi,
I'm still using CM 10.2, how can I update google play to 4.6.16? Do I have to reflash new gapps (coudnt find a new package)?. I saw some apks on androidpolice but is it safe to install it? I wouldn't bother the whole process but since yesterday I've been facing battery drain caused by google services. It happens every time google releases something new.
I've recently moved to a new state and have been having to use my phone's GPS several times a week.
At the time I was using one of the Cyanogenmod 11 snapshot builds(sorry, I can't remember which one ). The GPS worked flawlessly. I would always update to the next snapshot build as they came out. One our two updates later my GPS couldn't seem to get a fix on my location. I tried wiping and doing a clean install of the ROM. Still had issues.
Eventually I got fed up with cyanogenmod and wiped my phone and installed Paranoid Android 4 beta 1. Had the same problem with the GPS. I tried several of the other beta releases as they came out to see if the problem was resolved. It wasn't.
So I restored my phone to stock using the Google factory images (4.4.2). The GPS worked beautifully. So I stuck with stock for a while and did the OTA update to 4.4.3.
After a while I started to miss the features and customizations that come with custom ROMs. So I wiped and flashed Paranoid Android 4.4 RC2. The GPS still can't seem to lock. On the rare occasion that it does it can't keep up with my car, especially if I turn onto another road.
Does anyone know what's up with the GPS? Didn't seen to have this issue at all on Jelly Bean custom ROMs. Is this an issue with Kitkat custom ROMs? Possibly a hardware issue? Any help would greatly appreciated.
Current setup:
Phone: Nexus 4(16gb)
ROM: Paranoid Android 4.4 RC2
Sent from my Nexus 4 using XDA Free mobile app
There appears to be an issue with KitKat and GPS. I'm running stock 4.4.4 and I can't get a GPS lock. I've tried everything I can, including a factory reset. I don't remember having the issue with 4.4.3, but I've seen issues reported going back to 4.4.2.
I don't know about you, but a reboot usually does it for me.
I have the Sprint Note 4, 5.1.1, SM-N910P, was on rooted (CF) stock OK1. I have flashed (http://forum.xda-developers.com/note...ltexx-t3177324) as well as these gapps (http://downloads.sonic-developers.co...n74-Latest.zip) last night. I seem to be having some issues with the sonic launcher where it will shutdown when try to launch all apps, create a widget, or enter settings. IT'll work fine and for no apparent reason it will just stop. I had to FC and Delete all sonic data to get it to work again. This happened 2x. Not a big deal as I just went back to LL.
My big issue is the stock messaging app receives messages, but fails when trying to send any. Enjoying the rom but not sure I can live with that. There also seems to be some other little oddities... Have I flashed the wrong gapps possibly? I am pretty new to this all so I'm having a problem finding the proper info for my device specifically. Any help is appreciated, thank you!
