I'm curious to see the familiar faces. I understand that in a community like XDA, asking such a question may be moot; many of us have had every device .
Who made their way to the HTC One?
Recently, I'm coming from the Galaxy S2 (i777) and HTC One X(L).
My smartphone history is as follows.
iPhone 3G (2 years), HTC Desire S (1 year), HTC One X (1 year), HTC One (now).

My phone is due for upgrade at the end of the month. Ever since it was announced i have had my heart set on a Desire HD and planned to upgrade to this as soon as it was released.
A spanner was thrown into the works today when I bumped into some articles dating back to May about the glacier. The spec looks a huge leap ahead of the desire hd but I could not find any recent references to this device at all.
Does anyone know anything about this device? The reports from may say the launch was planned for end of 2010 and that it has the dual core snapdragon. That is all I can find.
Cheers
Tim

Has anyone picked apart that ROM yet?
Imo, I would get the 4g if I was on tmob
Wow so they are one and the same??? And I also see a T-Mobile November 3rd release. Bly ME!!!
Lost my htc legend. Anyone know what htc have replaced this with and/or what people would consider to be a comparative phone (for insurance replacement purposes)

If it was my case I wouldn't be able to receive replacement. It really depends in what provider you got your phone from. Usually they will give you a phone that has the exact same contract fees as the one before (only for contract, not sure about prepaid).
However if you are planning in getting a phone similar to the HTC legend in terms of speed, I would choose HTC Wildfire S.

HTC Desire S or Wildfire S.

Buy Desire S - almost the same size as Legend but more screen, CPU and memory. Or wait for news from CES this week
Sent from my HTC Legend using XDA App
Why not be the best, rather than HTC Legend? How about HTC Incredible S? For him, there are many custom firmware, including - wonderful MIUI and CyanogenMod7. Or wait for something new, but it will have a high cost for a year (at least).

Firefox OS can be built for these devices, but they are not being actively worked on a regular basis by core developers.
Their reliability and feature set may lag noticeably behind tier 1 and even tier 2 devices.
Samsung Galaxy S2
- The only model that works is the i9100; no other variants are officially compatible.
(i9100P might work, since the only change is a NFC chip added)
Samsung Galaxy Nexus
- We are not currently aware of any variations that are not compatible.
