And now back to the question---is there a working ,near bug-less rom for sg3? I heard about kyrillos v10? Is it better than other cm7 roms( if any ) ?? I want this for my frnd who is new to flashing and roms ....

You know you are rooted when you use XDA more than FB
At this moment we only have 2 CM7-A8 based roms - Kyrillos v10.1 and Hercolubus v2.0. Kyrillos v10 has kyrillos tweaks which make it quite faster and better.
I really don't feel that you need any custom CM7 rom cause nothing else is needed.

I have been to this forum after some months , and recently i soft bricked my phone:crying: . My phone is now came to basic position , i want to know now at this stage what is the best Rom , in usage. I last used Repencis 3.5 , but now i want some change please can you people help me out in finding best rom :good:. Which shud be gud in looks and even in performance .

Anyway, after having installed the rom you want, you must flash the CSC for the region to avoid the sms to India or something like that

you can try repencis 3.5 with savie kernel #73. for me its a good rom ever. i use to changed:victory: launcher, mms, camera, keyboard, and i used repencis blue theme 2.1 . Plus Tweaks like, sonny bravia engine, xloud and memory tweaks. now my repencis rom is superb. i can't ask for more.
check the kernels also... play with governor feature, will change smoothness and speediness of the roms...

I also go for Hyperion! :good:
I think Repencis v3.5 is the best but on my phone creeds have 2050+ on antutu benchmark,Repencis only have 1900+ on antutu benchmark
Try ussrv6 it comes with repencis kernel preloaded and its smooth stable and superfast till update
Try try very good rom and also battery saving....

hi.. i've been using hyperion for a while. It is great and stylish. The only problem that I encounter is having a white font color on using instagram, i cant see what im writing, also when using go sms and inserting contact, same white font and i cant see where should i send my message.
Any resolve for this? thanks i cant post on the original thread since im a new user.
people here are just too stupid and lazy to read,
the "best" rom is up to the user preference,
there are already polls, guides, reviews about each rom,
you just wont bother to search

i validate that however,
there are already lots of reviews and guides for newbies on what rom to choose on the general section,
posting these such threads bring no helpful outcome and will only confuse people

i cannot guarantee every HD game will be smooth but its better with the faster CPU

i never tried RP 3.5 + MK Pre-2.0
well......
try using chainfire 3d......
i dont know about other games bt i was able to play death space and galaxy on fire 2 and many other without any lags or bugs or in may galaxy y..
they were smooth .......

Hey, there is NO BEST CUSTOM ROM for Galaxy Y. But the best one is, STOCK ROM. You can try out other custom roms out there.

Then just use a custom kernel, and deodex it. If not enough space caused by deodexing maybe you can Partition your SD Card.
