Help needed to remove constant ciphering notification - Droid RAZR M Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello all
I installed one of the new ROM's based on JB 4.1.2. And I am unable to remove this constant notification from my phone whenever I connect to internet. I search on this forum and internet to get around this issue.
I went through this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2167606 and replaced the given apk file. But as the serraxer (who posted) mentioned my screen got stuck at boot screen. May be because I am using different ROM.
He even mentioned to remove by manually decompiling and editing xml file. I searched through internet and found some tool to do that but the boot screen again ran in loop.
I attached frame apk file of my system. If possible can anyone decompile as mentioned and post it here so that I remove the notification permanently

Here is the solution by ZaYAC_ua:
You need to install Safestrap and download a file from 4PDA:
Патч убирающий "Шифрование" (ciphering indicator) NoCip_Ind_in_XT907_9.8.1Q-78-1_ZaYAC_MOD.zip

[Q] How To Create A Theme.apk

Hi All
I have the most recent version of Oxygen which includes a "theme picker" app.
Similar to the one found in the HD ROM's it gives the opportunity to change the entire system theme, without flashing a zip. Which is good news
However, I have been trawling the internet trying to figure out how to create the .apk needed to create my own themes, failing miserably.
Could someone with the required knowledge post a tutorial maybe? Or a link to where the info is so that I can do my own research?
Thanks
i've not installed the test rom so cant check, but does it come with any theme.apk's pre-installed?
if so i'd start by pulling them apart and looking at the .xml and images and change them from there.

Do you know I didn't even think of that
I shall do so and see what I can come up with
Well I downloaded the Android SDK and all the tools required, then I installed eclipse and started a tutorial on how to build an app - as I assumed this is what I will need to do... but then my brain started to hurt and I needed sleep!

Disable boot animation.

Don't know if you guys know this but I disabled the stupid boot animation and now my phone boots in about 25 seconds.
I get a black screen for about 10 seconds but phone boots a lot faster now.
Edit your build.prop file.
Cool you should post a guide on how to do that. I'd love to try it.
I found it here

You just got to delete the file via Root Explorer or a similar root file management app. He's right though. Much faster boot time. I removed the file just for the sake of removing Samsung & T-Mobile's tagging on my phone but it provided some unexpected benefits.

gingerbread sleep animation

can someone that has gingerbread install on their phone while rooted and access to root explore send me the files that control the cool tv shutdown animation. its located in root of the phones os in the sys folder and subfolder power and they are called wake lock and wake unlock. just copy both files then save them on to the sd. i want to try and see if i can make it work on froyo. hopefully i can manage this. its been done as shutdown animation in DJ05 super dark rom. please anyone, it would be greatly appreciated
It's already been tried. Even with the files in place, there's no code that calls for them to be rendered or used.
I had this working at one point. It replaced the Verizon wireless shutdown animation located in /system/media/video (I think). I checked to see if I still have it and it looks like I deleted it. Sorry.

[Q] Can I fix my nook without a reset? (resolved)

So today I was trying to look up on how to replace the system icons and such, so I extracted some file I cannot rememeber the name of it and replaced the images from in it with the ones I wanted, then I applyed the stuff with an app and it said I should reboot for it to work, however when it was displaying processing it crashed, and rebooted on its own. It will keep looping in the boot animation, and I'm not sure if I'm gonna have to go back to stock. And fyi I am using manualnooter.
I dont understand how it isnt working and all I edited was pictures, plus a few xmls.
Here are the name of the xmls edited if you need (all of them have nav_ in front of the name)
home.xml, jump.xml, library.xml, quickbutton.xml, search.xml, shop.xml, shop_in_store.xml, web.xml
and if your wondering what pictures were replaced from what I can tell only the status bar stuff was replaced. (i.e. c_back.png)
Also, I was trying to use the SystemUi.apk to change it, but i could not find it. so I found something else that had the icons. (trying to find the name of the file right now)
Edit: I replaced files inside of system\framework-res\drawable-mdpi\
(sort of) Resolved: I had booted a couple different recoveries, until it would get stuck on the 'N', then I did the 8 fail boot and it loaded back up to stock. Guess I'll just reflash manualnooter.

[Q] Wifi Problems [Solved]

Phone: Samsung S4 mini SGH-I257m (Canada Rogers)
Android 4.2.2 I257MVLUAMK5
I used an app called "Wifi Pass Recovery & Backup" and it killed my wifi. It tries to turn on and fails. I could redo my phone completely but I would rather fix it.
I have tried many things:
I made a backup with the app before doing anything and restoring that did nothing. Using the in app "reset wifi settings" button also did nothing but remove my saved networks.
Using ES File Explorer I have looked at the /system/bin/wps_supplicant, /data/misc/wifi/wps_supplicant.conf, /system/etc/wifi/wps_supplicant.conf. Played around with permissions, owner and checked MD5 with backed up versions. One thing I noticed was that the permissions seemed to reset when I would reboot.....
I used logcat and couldn't gain any ground there.
Some post I saw said something about replacing /system/bin/wps_supplicant with the one from the stock firmware, but i couldn't figure out how to find the files in the firmware I downloaded. I did find a factory image from google and was able to extract the files I was looking for, but they didn't work either. No surprise there.
I would love some help this as you guys are the experts!
Thanks!
Are there any other files that have to do with wifi? They might be worth checking out.
Solved
Ok....So, I was able to fix the problem by going back to the stock ROM. Not what I was wanting but whatever.
In an effort to try to figure out what happened, I cross-checked the stock files with the the ones I had before.
- the MD5 checksum of /system/bin/wpa_supplicant was identical
- /system/etc/wifi/wps_supplicant.conf was identical
- /data/misc/wifi/wps_supplicant.conf had a difference with config_methods. Stock was 'physical_display', old was 'physical_display virtual_push_button keypad'
So as far as I can tell.....that one entry was the problem.
