Does anyone know if it is possible to get the S View case to work on non touchwiz ROMs?
The clock on my lock screen lines up to the window fine but it would be awesome to be able to wake/sleep the device by closing the cover.

I was wondering If anyone is creating a gestured based lock system from the droid? Like pinch your fingers together to lock device? Maybe, We can integrate this into the TV screen off effect too?

I notice right off the bat if I wake my phone by pressing my lock screen, the widget I'm using (not just Calendar) is condensed. I need to manually drag the square down to see it in its entirety. However if I scroll across to other widgets on my lock screen, they are all the proper size. How do I set it up so I can see the full view of my center widget whenever I unlock my phone without touching the screen?
To be clear, I want picture 1 to look like picture 2 the moment I wake my phone. Is this possible?

It's not possible running stock. It was designed that way because the bottom half of the screen is needed for your unlock pattern.
You'll need to flash a custom ROM. They do this so you can unlock your phone quickly without having to drag up the widget.
Hey guys,
I have the S4 with the Flip Cover (S Cover, Smart Cover ... whatever it's called). I love the way it protects the phone and the basic functionality but I'm wondering if there are any ROMs or applications that might improve it's functionality.
For example, it might be nice to be able to swipe to the left to show the most recent text message or to the right to display your next appointment.
Anyone know if there is an ability to increase the functionality of the cover?

I have a LG G2 case that has a flap that flods over the front of the screen. When the flap is closed over the screen it has a window at the top of it and the stock LG G2 software displays a wideget that is exactly the size of the window cut out. I am running a Gummy KK rom now but was curious if anyone has been able to get that feature to work with a modded rom?

just use an app like WidgetLocker then you can create any type any size widget you want for your lockscreens
Did u see if its activated in settings ?

Unfortunately I don't believe this can be solved just with a lockscreen widget, though I'm not 100% on that. I believe the bigger issue is that the quick window case contains a small magnet near the upper left hand side of the screen. This magnet triggers a sensor, and that is what then causes the quick window widgets to be displayed.
Was just wondering when charging on the stand, when i lay the phone vertically the contents from aod, to lock screen and touchwiz are all vertical.
So just think if i could possibly customize it so that it becomes more friendly for me.
