High bass buzz in earpiece

So I saw the other threads discussing quality issues in the ear piece but mines different. Mine only occurs when the lower base frequency is loud and therefore turns into buzz (like when you have loud base in a bad speaker). Other than that its great.
Anyone else have this issue too? Or does anyone know of an equalizer app that works on in call audio to lower the base?
Thanks

Very faint crackle from ear speaker

I've noticed my nexus 4 has a crackling sound from its ear speaker very faint almost not noticeable without close inspection oh and its started to heat up to about 38 to 40c not sure if that's a good reason to RMA it . but hey you never know if its hardware or software fault

If I put my phone to my ear, even with the screen off, I can hear a rediculously quiet clicking static sound, is this what you mean? I only notice it when I try to notice it so it doesn't bother me, an RMA would be pointless and more trouble than what its worth.

This is a known issue. No need to RMA, the new device will more likely than not have the same problem.

Crackling sound when vibrating on calls or notifications

My GS4 I9500 had a weird crackling sound when the vibration is set to high in calls or notifications. If I bring it down a step or two the sound stops. I have shaken the phone and don't hear anything lose. I have taken off the cover and the sound still persists. Anyone have this experience. Is this just the case cracking cuz is flexing or is this a bigger issue at hand?

Any ideas about this? Can anyone help?

You may have a defective unit. If you are able to exchange the phone for a brand new one, why not give it a try?

[Q] Speaker Problem

So I noticed this by accident today, after a few days of usage. The speakers at the bottom of the phone do not work equally(or symmetrically?).
I was holding the phone in a weird position and my fingers were closing the left speaker and sound was fine. I switched hands and right speaker got closed. I wasn't able to hear anything. I thought it was something to do with the video(youtube) then tried with other webpages and the preloaded mp3 from vienna choir. It was all the same. So I get the sound basically from right. The left one is virtually silent.
I can't go the store and test the phones on display. So do you have the same issue?
Only has one speaker other is mic , it's cosmetic

Lol... I actually did 2 exchanges before I figured out there's only a right speaker. The left one is the microphone. Like the guy above me said, it's just for looks.

Please can someone check this?

Hi folks,
Just got my new G2 today. I noticed that when playing music sound is only coming from the bottom right speaker grille. If I cover this there's no sound. Can someone check theirs and confirm if this is normal? Is the left speaker grille just a dummy then? Thanks!

Same here and I have the AT&T variant. The right side is the only side that sound comes out of. I'm thinking the left 'speaker' is the Microphone. Just like on my iPhone 4 there were two speakers, but one of them was a Microphone and the other was the actual speaker.

i have the Verizon variant, i would assume they are the same. the sound only comes from one side mainly.
Thanks for that richiev. I suspected that was the case as it certainly seems loud enough and it would be odd to place stereo speakers so close together. Cheers for confirming it for me!

They all only have one speaker. Verizon chose not to give it the stealth look.
One strange thing I have found is if I'm playing music with media volume set to full, if I put ringer volume to silent it lowers the music volume, ,,, or is it just me?

Don't notice the volume lower but do noticed a slight click from the first music played.

That's interesting. The same thing happens here. I guess it's a bug of some kind.
