Stock Rooted, Deodexed, Zip-aligned rom?

Title says it all.. I am looking for the stock rooted deodexed zipaligned rom for the NS4G... There was a thread for one but all the links are dead... Where can I find this? Thanks for any help!!

Yea, that was my thread I believe. The server I had them on mysteriously lost all my files. I will ask someone to post the files. I know Pete has some posted but it was brought to my attention that he changed some things so they are not technically stock.

im looking for a stock rooted rom no mods etc cant seem to find one or the link is down i rather have a stock rom with root whats ur suggestion
edit: for now im going to flash the system.img and root it

That is the one to use for sure Love it!

Why is that thread only posted in the GSM section? You should split them, or copy and paste it in the 4G side too.

It's another Mirror. Though, I haven't ever heard of the site. I can say that the file from the other thread is the right one. Has everything we need.

So i should be able to flash this and fix my phone? I flashed a tmo rom and it messed up my radio and data. I have radio working but data fluctuates from edge to hspa+.

Hi I'm on the MDB firmware...saw the post about the update ..I'm rooted but wanted to see if it was available to me. went to software update and its not available yet?? Anyone know why??

Try moving your time forward a few hours or something. Just turn off auto update time.
Before you do that, can you get me a Dropbox link for your core.odex file located in /system/framework first? Just use es file to copy to your sd card and upload. You'd help me a bunch. My update fails because somehow that file was changed.

Try again. Go to settings applications. All tab. Find at&t software update. Clear cache. Then try pushing the update again.

I did that and it didn't work lol

Return I9505G to stock 4.2 with Odin?

Is there a official 4.2 Odin package for the Google Play Edition S4? I can only find the leaked 4.3 package, and I'd rather not use that until it's official.

Thank you for the link. I don't think that will replace the radio image though, which is what I'm primarily concerned with. My S4 is having a great deal of trouble connecting to wifi, so I'm thinking I may have a hardware defect. I didn't try to connect to wifi until after I flashed the 4.3 leak. (Dumb in hindsight) Trying to get back to stock radio to see if that helps me out.

If you give me a little time, I can extract it from my phone and upload it. Not at a computer now but will be in a little bit.

I've learned that there are two different 4.3 leaks. I flashed the newer of the two and my Wifi suddenly started working! They must have fixed some kind of compatibility issue with my router. Woohoo!

Great news! I'm happy it worked out. Hopefully we will get the official 4.3 build today or tomorrow. :fingers-crossed:

Did you ever extract the 4.2.2 radios? I'm trying to find them so I can return my baseband back to MFD.

Unrecognized icon.

So, I just bought this phone and the version is 4.3. But it has some weird icons, like, they doesn't belong to this version. What is wrong with this phone? Can I change it back to normal?
The icons that "aren't supposed to be like that" are the phone and messaging ones.
P.S. I just realized that I posted this in the wrong section.

I will assume you have bought a used set. Possibly the previous owner has flashed a custom rom on it.
Maybe you can try download the official rom for your region and flash it with Odin and see if everything goes back to normal.
If you are not sure how to do the flashing, just Google for the instructions.

I also thought it might be a custom rom. And yes, it's an used set, kind of, but the person said it was never used.

You just have MCIC icon visible as previous user set it up for you, using the Jedi powers (because you have to trust him that he did not used the phone at all)

Knox is not installed if that's what you mean.
I think you can say if this phone has a custom rom in the "about device" section, right?

I don't think that it is a custom rom, maybe he flashed som zips
go to sammobile.com and find your firmware, and flash it to stock so it will be normal

But one question... I don't really know what have they done to this device, is it really safe to do the flash? I remember that I bought a couple of years ago an used phone that I don't remember the model name, and they told me that the phone was rooted, I checked the phone and it didn't have any visible sign of being rooted and I also downloaded an app and indeed the phone wasn't rooted, so I proceed to update the phone, and bam! Motherboard died.
I want to be sure that is really safe so I can proceed to flash it.

I think there is nothing wrong, but try this:
go to System Settings>More
About Device>Status and scroll down
Does it say:
Device status
Official
?
PS: sorry for the big pictures... HD hehe... xd but XDA cant resize it
