When I try to uninstall apk or remove icon from the desktop i getting this error:

you should start by giving us more details about your current setup
rom, kernel, launcher, launcher version
try going into Settings > Apps > All Apps > (Your Launcher here) and clearing app data.
If i'm not mistaken, stock launcher is Launcher2.apk

Hi, I was able to perm root and s-off on the HTC glacier Mytouch 4g. I installed the Cyanogenmod 7.2.0 for HTC glacier. After about a few hours of use, I get the following error messages:
“Activity ADW.Launcher (in application ADW.Launcher) is not responding.”
“The application Google Services Framework (processcom.google.process.gapps) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.”
After reboot, the error message comes back. I tried reinstalling several times and also only installed the bare minimum google apps. I installed the googleplay apk directly and then downloaded gmail and google maps. I can’t figure out why I keep getting these error messages. Does anyone know what this means? Can anyone recommend a fix?

Thanks for the advice. I am a novice. This sounds like great advice. How do I update ADW? Or, how do I install a holo launcher? - thanks
Well start with updated gapps. holo launcher is just a replacement for adw you can get on the play store. If you can't get past the force closing will not do you any good.
Playing with lcd density in the build prop i have messed up my phone, now i cant go to the menu when ever i try to open menu i got error "unfortunately, touchwiz home stopped" then again same black screen.
Try installing another launcher first via Google Play Store. You can access Play Store thru the PC browser, and install it from there. The status bar works, doesnt it?

Please help me. I'm trying to install Nova Launcher Prime (that I paid for) and I'm getting an error
unknown error code during application installation: "-24"
Other apps seem to be OK. I've cleared cache of the app store
App but it seems continue refusing to install.

Using a file explorer with root, go to /data/data/ and delete the folder named "com.teslacoilsw.launcher.prime" and try installing again ..
*If you are upgrading, make a data backup first and then after installing from market, restore data only.

as the title says, i'm unable to add any widget to lockscreen... it always gives me "settings stop" error and it doesn't even open the widgets list... (few times it almost gave me the list, but it fc-ed still)
don't know what happened, it was working yesteday...
adding a widget to homescreen (nova launcher) works fine

tried to fix permissions in recovery...
tried to clear cache for settings in titanium
still no change

i installed a new rom (oreo)
To my surprise, i could still see the system ui tuner still in the settings.
Whenever i open the system ui tuner, "unfortunately systemui has crashed"
does anyone know, how to get rid of systemui tuner, without opening it and selecting, remove from settings?
