Hi! Im a noob and I dont mean to spam or anything like that but does anyone know if there is or if there will be unbuntu for the tmobile Gs4.Is it possible that there might be a zipfile that you could just flash ubuntu through recovery onto the Gs4. Thanks in advance.

Once there is a AOSP (or, more widely, primary used by Ubuntu, CyanogenMod) ROM/source code, your good to go to port it yourself, easily.

Do you live in the U.S.
Sent from my LG-LS970 using xda app-developers app
Yes I live in the u.s. I cant port it Im not a dev..
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda app-developers app
It's not too hard to port, with some googling and help from the community it should be possible.
If you live in the U.S. you have to think about CDMA and your phone carrier would have to do that. You could port it but it would be a waste of time.

Cyanogenmod 10.1.3 just got staple for the S4. I would be interested in having Ubuntu Touch on my S4 (international lte, jfltexx).
Lets see if I can do this even though I have never use C++ or done anything else on a OS.

It being unlocked has no reference to running it on AT&T.
Tmk there was a boot loader issue. Maybe it was w the Note 3 though

I'm new to the RAZR m scene but I was wondering if there's a hacked Google wallet we can load to make it work like my sgs 3 has for Verizon? If it's already been discussed to death I apologize.

I and other developers are working on it. The secure element is locked only for ISIS.

Hoping this is coming along? Any developments on this getting done?
When I try to view the S4 accessories forum on my S4, in the new XDA premium app, I get Sent to something else... Any ideas?

Not using premium, but I get to the correct forum. Might be something with premium
I have the old premium on my E4GT, and it takes me to the correct places... It might be the new app.

I noticed the same thing with the new app. I am sure it will get fixed once they kniw about it (if they dont already). Maybe there is a xda forum post about the app to let them know/see if it has already been brought to their attention.

Also the forum rules aren't accessible either. Very laggy and kinda slow in general

Actually I know Samsung stated it could work just all the S stuff wouldent work which I assume is most of it. Second you have to be on 4.3 or above since some way the notifications work or something like that

Here is the thread for this rom over at the forum for the international s4 devices (i.e. i95xx)
You would do well to ask this question over there where someone more knowledgeable or the developer himself might reply. But judging by the mention of sprint users in the change log, there is a good chance its a unified ROM. Don't take my word for it.
Yeah I asked on his Google+ page and was told it was a unified build lol.

Yep tried it . Pretty good must say but I had no mobile data . Maybe cause my phone is a sprint phone. Lol.. Nah but it was fun playing with it . But I believe that version is for the international s4.

Nice to know it boots up. You could have backed up and restored APNs to get data to work.

I tried this with a Sammy Deluxe ROM and had little luck because the dev didn't implement an APN menu...

Yea that's what I'm facing... I've even flashed back to 4.3 and used APN backup and restore but APN doesn't work with 4.4...
I just nandroid restored, but I only get 3g, no 4g. Not sure how my APNs are still screwed up despite a restore...

Are there any ideas on how to get back stock data settings? Really missing my 4g...
