I searched but couldn't find anything specifically related.
Any people go from s3 with OEM extended battery (3000mah) to s4? How have you found battery life in comparison?
I can upgrade to s4 at anytime. My only concern is battery life. The 3000mah in the s3 is perfect for me (perfect meaning it has power to spare at the end of a day). The original 2100mah battery is too small.
Tia.
Little OT but my OEM S3 battery actually fits in the S4 and is functional, so you should just have a spare battery.

I need the help choosing ROM i don't care about performance what i am looking for is best battery. I am not sure but my battery draining way to fast.
Please help. I need my phone to last at least 12 hours.
I use sacs custom rom w/ kt kernel. I underclock it amd use a conservative cpu governer. I also use gsam battery monitor. I find that a ton of the battery is used by the screen. I keep it at the lowest level most of the time. When that's too dark I only go up enough for it to be viewable. I also turned off location services and all the gimmicks and useless stuff. Currently at 8 hours with 42% left.

Well you could have at least put it into the Q&A section.

Because there have been numerous "what's the best ROM?" Threads and have been a closed. Because they don't really benefit the community.

i would say try a custom kernel.. i get better battery life rocking a custom kernel.. the stock MF9 kernel seems to give alot of users battery problems
It seems as though the reason why your phone is dying so quickly is that really low signal strength. Also, please attach a screenshot of the application use as well. Two hours isn't that bad of a screen time, I get around the same as well.
Try one of the stock debloated roms and go from there. You might not want to get into a custom rom, they are more for added tweaks and customization's. If youre not into that than just go stock, and maybe go back to the KT kernel. Ive had really good results with going stock and debloating myself.

No one can choose a ROM for you and no one knows better than YOU for what you like.
There is no substitute for reading about the software you are about to drastically alter your $700 device with.
Also no one uses their phone EXACTLY like you, have the same signal conditions, etc so most likely no one will get the same battery life as YOU
As there are threads of many battery's here in n2 forum. So i was wondering whats the percentage of ppl of the famous batteries......... SO, pleaseeeeee vote

There was a major charging issue for me. I was using a just a regular charger from another phone and it took forever, using the one that came with it solved the issue. I have seen a few people mention the same problem here and there with other phones and just thought I would put this info up.
No placeholder threads will be allowed.
Please wait until the device is actually released..or at least the nigh before

I've been pretty unimpressed with the battery life on my S6. I've always used the included fast charger. Today I used someone else's charger from an old Android phone. It may be a fluke but my screen on time has jumped from 3-4 hours to a solid 6 hours. Could it be possible that slow charging is the reason for this? Give it a try and let me know if it works for you too!

No tips from my side. Same settings as manufacturer
No tips and tricks from my side. Its 5:33pm now I'm up since 6:45am ( phone not on charger) 56%.
Just check maybe some of your apps(Im pretty sure you did verified ) and by the way I'm on snapdragon and not exynos.
Good luck with that.
