Request to cyanogen mod team

i have sent a request to the cyanogen mod team to complete the openswift project by quarx i hope they reply and they will complete the rom and make it stable..since there are many issues on sd card damaged errors,apps crashing etc.

Same thing happened to me with phone rebooting, apps crashing but I updated the kernel to #412 and it seems to have fixed pretty much everything

Yeah, kernel #412 improved 2.2 a lot! Almost no bugs. But i miss wma- playback.

its been 2 weeks now and rverthings smooth

To be honest, i'd recommend installing the 2.3.2 rom that is on modaco and xda its stable enough for everyday use, even though its a beta.

I have also installed swiftdroid_1.3. It has still some problems (I especially miss BT headset mode in my car), but it is actively developed.

The new rom swift droid is very good. Try it

i hve really fixed eveeything.now

Can you release a v5 as an update? if you release a new version each day is more difficult to maintain the rom updated

in update script
delete the format DATA: line and flash it
in system there are lots of changes
i give new version for stability.

what happened to the circle battery in v5?
I tried to boot doing v5 flash + update and it hung on bootanimation.
So I reinstalled v5 rom only, reboot. waited, rebooted again and installed no frills cpu and made sure the freq was at 998, then installed the smoothness patch and all seems to be ok expect for the stock battery icon in the task bar.

is there a way to edit tweaks for more speed

use framework-res.apk from v4 for circle battery (ask sum senior to make a zip for you if you cant)
otherwise use the edt tweaks app to set percentage beside battery

I'd rather wipe clean with new rom. Why not have the best performance? Between titanium backup, sms backup and google backup, you can have your phone back to normal within 10 mins of flashing.

I am very impressed.
I am just reporting that the themes do not work. Theres just a white x with a black background where the previews of the themes are, in the theme chooser.

wonderful job! it is faster than previous.... !!
ill use a little bit more in lagfree scalling, but i think it drains battery a lot.. then ill go back to smartassv2

does it works on milestone?

I managed to play it using Chainfire 3D and MIUI Gingerbread ROM.
But the performance is far from satisfying, controls are laggy and apart from that the game itself is kinda dumb.

me too on the stock froyo rom, overclock 1 Ghz, swapper and chainfire. the performance isn't smooth like another phone like GS2 or such this but good for some little games in boring moments.

Why I get failed status on swapper?

I'm running it satisfactorily on cm 7.2.4d which gives me about 70mb free ram(no gapps installed).
800mhz and i don't use 3D chainfire also. It's pretty smooth actually

I've been using your ROM version 4, and it's amazingly fast, All of my HD Games run smooth and stable, and i hope that you can do the same with this GB ROM for Gaming. i'm expecting it that you can do this for us. Thanks in advance.

v4 was smoother than v5 somehow try v4 ,i`m testing Stock-based one,will report back if its as good as v4 (i love stock more than SDE anyways )

Dmn!!! it's a lot more harder making Stock GB rom than the SDE rom :\

Is it possible to make a flashable zip of nxt lock screen for v4 and the performance still remains the same? Because i have used v5 for much time and thinking to revert back to v4 but lock screen isn't letting me do that while performance is forcing me

A same question. my defy plus is already rooted. But somehow the overclock isn't supported by the stock kernel. I'm using Set CPU apk. :laugh:

I think about the combination between walter's kernel and stock rom. But there's no such combination. Isn't it? Just want a rom: fast, stable, and full motorola blur. Is it a dream? haha :angel:

MS2Ginger is that dream. Even has 720p video recording (for red lens camera only).
