I have just updated LG Optimus L7 P705 stock rom from ICS to jelly bean 4.1.2 via PC Suit and i am not able to find its rooting method and cwm for jelly bean and i am stuck without root and cwm. Please HElP

You can find lots of rooted roms which include cwm. I have one- v20d rooted with cwm on my p700 but i am sure that it will also work properly on p705. Flashing via KDZ .Search the forum

this rom is based on ics and i am talking about MIUI V5. Has anyone ported MIUI for Jelly bean.

As far as know there's no custom roms based on v20 sources yet. You have to wait. But still there's a development going on for cm10.1. Still patience my friend, will wait till it comes out.

yeah dude i did root my device and installed everything and i am currently using MIUI V5 thats totally awsome and my ram is free about like 230MB.

hey i have a LG p705 phone in which ICS has installed in it,
now i wanna root and install cmw in this phone,
last night i found some site regarding cmw, http://www.symbianize.com/showthread.php?p=16031880.
i want to ask one thin if i installed cmw in my phone which is runs on ICS, then it is possibility of getting a bootloop because i thing thats recovery is for CM 10.1.
i wanna try custom rom in my phone, thats why i ask if i not get a bootloop in ics, then i installed this cmw and try some custom rom for my phone.

lg must release to us android 4.4
google said "android 4.4 should be on all 512mb ram devices"
l5 have 400mb ram, but on his box and on lg website they sad 512mb ram
so i claim kitkat
LG said that they ll realese kitkat for l5 II and L7 II series, ofcourse G2 and some else, there ll not be kitkat for l7 and l5 first series..

It hurts a lot... But, we will have the kitkat, not by LG but for the developers, it's better than nothing! And, we will have here a pure experience of kitkar, LG can not promise it to us!

hey guys, i already managed to install a kdz with jelly bean, root and cwm wnd now i want to install a custom rom on my phone (lg l5 e612f).
the problem is that i dont kno which roms are compatible with this phone becausr i ser there are the e610 and e612g and after googling a lit i couldnt find anything about it.
any help would be greatly appreciated

U can instal every ROM which says 612 but 610 I dout
I recommend you CyanogenMod 11 (KitKat) for E612. It's for E610 and E612. It works good on both. Just search for it in xda... BTW: beta 1 will be released tomorrow

well i downloaded the pacman rom and the slimbean one and they installed just fine, now it says my phone is a lg e610 instead of e612f, thanks for the help guys

That's not a problem,,u can change it in build. Prop file
Mod of stock 3.4 is also good if you need great sound quality.

Be carefull about deep sleep. Its not normal that batery lasts less than 10 hours...

At this moment there's none for l7. Only @PecanCM but he only develop for l5.
