What ROM are you using? Anyways, flash STOCK ROM if the problem persists Be sure to make a Nandroid Backup if something goes wrong! :thumbup:

Having the same issue since ICS...stock rom (tried both QL1 and QL2) Wiping and flashing custom kernels (like dedrak) don't help. Using copy and paste in the people app makes the app crash (consistently), same happens occasionally with chrome & stock browser...

i was having same issue after flashing indian ics rom over LQ2, but it is solved after wipe/factory reset
Google play not working it just crapped out I don't know what I did or if I even did anything but is there anyway to fix this without reflashing my rom

maybe your background data is not enabled. google play needs it to work.

Just download another rom or open up the backup of your stock rom (if you have one), searching for vending.apk and replace it with yours on your rom.

Whenever I flash job soft keys on jellyblast. V3 using merruk kernel I do not get any virtual app in the app drawer.....can anyone help me?

its a flashable zip file......hw will cwm identify it if its a system app it shud be in the root of sd

There is a script named updater script in flashable.zip/meta-inf/com/google/android/ which tells cwm what to do

just go into cwn and go to backup and restore from there backup your phone

Try this
Go to contacts -> press menu button and click on merge with Google.

I think problem is in sync with Ultima ROM, there shouldn't be any problem if the contacts sync in correct way with the phone's contacts. Try using some other rom like Omega or Resurrection Remix.

stock or custom
Stock rooted. I have lite s5 theme only.
Problem is when i want menage contacts, edit or save new one, error appears.. :S or if i log out from my gmail (play store) then error appears evry second. Sorry about my english... and thanks for helping.

I also have stok rom
I have not had that problem, so I asked whether custom or stock

Nothing helps. I think its because i restore mail and phone contacts from samsung account. How to solve this some apk would be nice.

I have solution for ACORE error. Go to Settings, All apps, find Dialer Storage and clean chace and files. Dont forget to take backup of your CONTACTS !!! Just like that
