Hi everyone!
Yesterday i got a new phone and like my other devices, i want to root it to delete all the unusable apk's! The only problem is that i tried everything but no success! there are many ways to root, i tried all them but the phone don't want to get rooted!! :crying:
I have android 4.1.2 installed and the software version is E61020a-268-06
I tried also the KDZ updater to downgrade to 10a but no luck too, always get an error and KDZ closes!
If some1 had the same error before and then successfully rooted the phone, please let me know how did it!

Hello everyone, i am new to his forum and also to omnia 7. Anyway i have a few problems with my omnia. First i cannot update it, i recieve the error 80180048.
Then i have tryed to flash it without success. The flash programs tell either this is not a retail phone, either that the binary is not for the device.
I ned to tell that the phone was unlocked, because previously it was locked to SRF.
So any help on flashing my phone to an orange firmware will be appreciated

I'm having troubles with my new LG Optmus L5 e610. It comes oot with 4.1.2 and the LG mod v20b.
I rooted it with the v20d_root.kdz and now i've installed an unlocked bootloader, CWR, CM10 and Gapps. I have now a problem: the IMEI inside the information menù is empty and every SIM card is not recognized.
What should I do? I tryed going back to the stock the reflashig all, but nothing. By the way the stock ROM works fine.
Investigating around i discovered the same problem over many Samsung devices, with following solutions talking about this EFS folder that needs to be backed up. Googling around i found that LG don't need to back up this folder. Am i wrong?
EDIT:
Googling around i discovered that flashing a rom fro the v20_root may cause this issue, so it is advised to downgrade to the v10. But how i do it without making the kdz flasher give me errors? And which one of the v10 kdz i have to flash?

You must install v10 baseband.I'n on mobile now and u can't help you but serch on google for it.

today I went to downgrade my L7 from Carbon ROM to V20A with CWM/ROOT by Homero using KDZ and when phone restarted after upgrade it got stuck at LG logo, so I tried flashing multiple times but it didn't succeed.
I couldn't even access the CWM, I tried almost all unbricking solutions.
Now I tried even with official LG Mobile Support Tool which updated firmware to V20D and it won't boot up.
a) Is there a way I can back my phone to get it working myself?
b) How much will the service cost as my warranty expired?

Hey guys, I bought my phone used and am trying really hard to fix a broken root that's on the device.
It's a Sprint LS980 with the latest ZVE update. Rootchecker fails, and the SuperSU app is unable to update the binary. StumpRoot will not run as it thinks the device is already rooted.
The phone is on stock recovery. My plan was to flash the stock ZVE firmware/ROM using a .tot, however this is impossible until I can get download mode working...
Any help would be very much appreciated, I really want to get this phone sorted out.
Bumping up, I'll be working on this more tonight since I'm working graveyard shift at an IT helpdesk. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.
Hello i have a problem with a friends LG G2 I flashed it lolipop 5.1 and then i wiped the whole internal storage clean and installed new firmware on it i tried flashing 4.4 the second time then the phone did not boot up and the screen was stuck to an error message cant quite remember it.
Anyway my friend sent it to lg and they said to him that the phone was double flashed and it could not be fixed... I need to know if i can recover the phone and if so detailed steps if possible.

It can be unbricked. Your problem was probably flashing wrong bootstack since you got security boot error.
First, if you can get into download mode, do tot/kdz. There is guide here on xda
