when in my gallery and i view an image , i cant get it to go full screen , i always have the bar at the top to edit, share, delete ect and at the bottom it shows a small image of all the other pictures in that album .
it never used to do this before clicking on an image in the gallery even in an album , would show full screen without the bar at the top and picture preview at the bottom , anyone have any idea what i changed or didi ? tried to reboot but no luck
happens in both portrait and landscape mode.

hi there , appreciate the reply , yes i forced stop cleared chache ect from the gallery but still same issue, what was weird is it didint remove my albums i had created in there but it still cleared. i exspected it to wipe my albums back to default.
after you open the image and you have the line above with the edit, etc and the row of images on the bottom, just tap the image you're viewing and the two rows should disappear. If you want to bring them back just tap the image again
Not sure if I understood you correctly and you didn't provide a screenshot so I hope this helps. If not, please disregard
Screen shot link is there but when I tap my image the bars aren't going away the way they should , they are stuck there

I received my Galaxy Tab 7.7 from Panamoz two days ago. All works fine, but I can't change the ugly orange wallpaper on the lock screen. Is it a problem with my tab or a well known issue ? If not, how can I change it ? I've tried several classic methods but the orange screen is still there :-(
Thanks for your help.

You see the + in the top right hand corner of the home screen? You can change the lock screen will gallery images.
Settings>Screen>Screen display>Lock screen
At which point you should be in Gallery (or if, like me, you have an alternative pic viewer--e.g., QuickPic--installed, the dialogue box should ask you to "select wallpaper from"...). Select photo of choice, crop where necessary, and presto.
I place all of my own wallpapers in jpg format in a folder in the internal sd storage.
Funny you should say that I was trying last night and could not change just tried and worked perfect strange must have been tired or drunk
I have already tried all what you're saying (I'm not a beginner), all the classic methods to change the lock screen wallpaper. It doesn't work. I select a wallpaper (Samsung ones or mine) , save the change, but the orange lock screen is still in place. I don't understand why. I can only change the home wallpaper.
Okay, I've had this issue before and got it worked out.
When you choose the image for your lockscreen just use gallery crop, don't crop with QuickPic or any other app.

In the stock gallery there used to be a sidebar on the left that had all the picture folders in a grayish blue color and it made it easy to move picture's from one folder to another. This side bar is gone now, any ideas how to get it back?? Any help would be appreciated. I'm wondering if it's a setting somewhere cause I've just installed what was said to be the stock gallery for the note 3 but it's still missing. I'm Running Bean's build 4
Take a sec and hit thanks if I helped or if you're in a good mood!
I got it back by creating a new album within the gallery and it's back.

When you are in the gallery open one of the photo albums then with your index finger swipe left or right, that's how u enable/disable the "sidebar"

Awesome thanks!!!! Never knew that one
Hi guys!
I have been trying to set home and lock screen wallpapers without having to crop them, I want to use full images.
I tried using many apps - stock gallery, google photos app, picspeed, many ' pic2wallpaper' type of apps from play store..but none of them seems to work with our beloved note 4.
I have some 2K and 4K images that I want to use as wallpaper. But even the default images provided by samsung are cropped when selected as wallpaper.
Is there any other app that would autoscale the wallpapers to fit fullscreen, or maybe a specific size that we can manually resize the image to get the perfect fit without cropping(and the tool to be used to resize the image, if any)?
I am sure you awesome people here have already tried sorting this out
Thanks a ton!
Anyone?
Photo Grid
This may take several steps, but I am satisfied with my lockscreen now lol.
Download/open Photo Grid from the Play Store
Select Scrapbook (This will only work in Scrapbook mode)
Find the picture you want (You have to save the picture somewhere first if it's not in your camera roll)
Touch the picture. Then, in the lower right corner there will be an arrow going in a circle and it's blue. Hold down the little blue circle to stretch the picture out as tall or as wide as you like.
You will still be able to see some of the background, so touch the background and click on the Background button in the lower left corner. Select background of your choice.
Select Ratio at the bottom. Then, select the ratio 3:5 or smaller if you like.
Touch the picture again and resize with the blue arrow if you wish.
Then, hit save in the upper right corner.
I just thought of this, so I'm sure there may be an easier way. Let me know if this works for you, if you have already tried it or have found an easier solution.
Try Background hd wallpaper app by ogq.It has ability to set full images without cropping

Will try your suggestions. Been using Mont Blanc wallpaper for now lol
Try taking a screenshot of the full size wallpaper you want to use and then use the screenshot as the wallpaper.
Use image2wallpaper or slideshow hd live wallpaper

Hit thanks if helped
Hi- this screen never appeared before and now it does -.- tried wiping factory resetting and this image wont go away from my homescreen. Idk what happened please help looked everywhere of how to remove this but no one has had this issue. This never appeared on stock until after i unlocked my bootloader and installed cm. Tried to use the repair assistant and its still there.
edit: idk why it does not show in my screenshots. here are some photos taken from my iphone... hard to show but there is a white line that is in the background of my homescreen. Shows an sms icon slightly transparent. Annoying **** to look at when I take pics on snapchat. As you can in google playstore and the snapchat photo a SMS icon appears behind the mic in play store and under the switch to facecam icon in snapchat. Does anyone know a fix??
I still have no idea what you are talking about.

lol. ok before on my screen it will be normal fine no graphical errors no visual glitches. pictures wont show it for some reason but if you had my phone in my hand it would show up as SMS icon at the top of my screen like right below the navi bar. Shows up in camera and on my snapchat. Never happened till now. Idk if my screen got messed up or if its the constant switching of roms etc that gave me that glitch. its like a white line that separates the navibar and the rest of the screen at the bottom shows a menu bar on the left corner and some icons. its very transparent under the homescreen display like if the stock rom overlapped
like it shows a small phone screen is under the home screen. in the background- get me?
It's screen burn in. It happens with amoled screens if they are left on a static image too long. You can try some burn in fix tools in the play store. That's why you don't see it in your screen shots it's a hardware problem.
