Hi guys.
Here almost real SRS Audio Effects
Non fake same Beats Audio, Dolby Mobile and other stupid collecting files.
Whats need:
1) Android 4.0.1 or High, On 2.3 no work don't try!
2) Remove some old libs and apps
-- 1. /system/lib/soundfx/ and remove libcyanogen-dsp.so (If you have here)
-- 2. /system/lib/soundfx/ and remove libbundlewrapper.so (If you have here)
-- 3. /system/app/ and remove DSPManager.apk (If you have here)
-- 4. /system/app/ and remove MusicFX.apk (If you have here)
3) Unpack all files from srsfiles_for_port_on_other_phone.zip to /system/. Or just flash zip pack. srsaudiofx.zip
Here contain:
- SRS WOW
- SRS TrueBass
- Android Equalizer
- Android Normalizer
- EQ Pressets
- SRS Panel (Patched MusicFX)
For improve sound need patch audio.primary aka libaudio:
Look my addition:

** Tested on CM9 By Maclaw, works better than beats audio !
To activate it, go music , play a song , menu > Sound Effects
Then you should see a 'SRS Panel' at the title there, activate it.
Preset there choose 'SRS Extreme'
My opinion:
Set 'SRS WOW' to max
Set 'SRS TrueBASS' to 30%
**How if this don't work ?
1. Reboot CWM, mount /system and flash again
2.After flashing, use Root Explorer , go /system/app , find SRSPanel.apk and install it.
3. Now your SRS should be working !

=.= accidently hit thanks when I wanted to quote you. Trust me beats audio is nothing. I repeat nothing comapared to SRS. SRS is a audio company that has been around since music mixing began. What you are comparing is chocolate and sh*t. Sorry for the crude words used but yea Beats is nothing in the world of audio.
Looking good, I'll try installing it when Android 4.0 for Galaxy Ace is fully working.

Supercurio Tweeted this an last night.. good news for S3 owners. Will also be coming to the S2.
'.. release #GalaxySIII specific pre-versions of #VoodooSound and #DisplayExpert because.. it's must have already for me '
Yeah saw that too. Great news indeed
Sent from my CM9 TouchPad
What is displayexpert? I tried to google it.
I guess it will allow adjustments to the settings of the screen. Saturation, temperature, and sharpening.
Oh man, can't wait to see what supercurio is bringing to the SGS3... He did wonders for the SGS.
will it be for rooted devices only ? dont want to root my GS3 yet ive only have it 2 days
will rooting void the warranty with samsung ?
Only with root
I hope this also comes for the US GS3 !
Can't wait

It'll probably fix some banding issues with the ICS default background.
I still have my original i9000 mostly because of the amazing sound quality I get with Voodoo sound and the Samsung earphones. The Siyah 1.2.1 mods on Omega 5.1 on my i9300 kernel runs it very close. Really eager to see what SuperC can do with the new device!

I agree completely.. I'm really just glad to be back on Samsung period. I've been on HTC and the unlocking, s-off, adb is more of pain the just running Odin or flashing.

Personally really looking forward to see Voodoo Sound implemented on the SGS3 to take full advantage of the Wolfson
Always nice to have a high end phone that has excellent sound quality too!
Can't wait for this
Voodoo sound booster is obsolete, there's a mod avalible already which boosts the sound the same way voodoo did..
Its awesome ! If I wasn't writing this on my phone I'd find you guys a link..
Boost audio system wide, alarm gave me a bloody fright this morning..
EDIT: Decided ill be nice and find the link hehe..
OP Topic: HERE
CWM Flashable packes: HERE
I suggest using the "60_sound_mod - max vol = 60 (boot sound on, camera sound off)" CWM package, it boosts your phone dramatically although not to max.. The safer option if you ask me..
Anyway thats my good deed done for today.. better get back to work !

Thanks for the link, I will check it out.
However Voodoo Sound is not just about boosting volume. I had it on my SGS1, and it greatly improved the overall sound quality as well. I cant really explain it as I am by no means an audiophile, however all I know is that Voodoo Sound left me with a smile on my face whilst listening to music.

I used voodo on SGSII and that just boosted volume, in saying that it actually boosted it with no sound quality loss.. Not like volume+.
That mod does exactly what vodoo did on the SGSII im very impressed by this mod, the fact that it boosts over all sound on the phone is great.

Here again u want to open the argue will i asked for it
firstly what the heck is a wolfson DAC it is something u invented
secondly visit this link http://m.gsmarena.com/samsung_i9505_galaxy_s4-5371.php
dnt say gsmarena isnt authentic and lastly
we have the same DAC manufacturer as htc one that is Yamaha and we all agree htc is best audio plus am saying stock vs stock but if u want mods the pure x mod makes the sound on i9505 rlly magnificent plz dont trash talk am not doing claims am having facts unlike u
u bought a cheaper phone just be satisfied by it dont claim it is better
Have you tried BMSound?
As for the I9505 sound quality, it's not really that bad. It's no Wolfson, granted, but it's also not crap (as the Yamaha DAC on the S2).
My biggest issue are the earphones, or the lack of proper ones, to be true.

I've tried a few as well and so far Viper4Android FX is the best so far, IMO. Nice amount of tweakable options, able to drive the phone hard and clean without distortion...better than MusicFX and much better than any beats audio/ BMAudio implementation ive seen on the i9505 so far. The author seems to have a lot of plans for it as well

The problem with gsmarena is they arent consistent with their testing and as such they aren't particularly trustworth when ti comes to RMAA testing.
-------
Wolfson are well respected, more so for their dacs used in av amps than phones but that's only because people take less notice of what DAC a phone has, generally. That sort of stuff is reserved for us geeks I've no doubt wolfson are top of the pile here. Whether that translates in to audiable differences is a different question altogether though; I think DACs play a far lesser role in overall picture for sound quality in phones than perhaps some people like to admit. Yes we can bench the hardware with RMAA and see the numbers are better, but that doesnt always translate in to better audio quality and i really do think people concentrate on the DACs too much. I believe the rest of the hardware is far more important - the amp, for one thing. That's a different discussion however.
Wolfson best but the i9505 chip set ain't that far behind. Let stick to topic eh? In reality you would have to be running some sweet cans and have damn good ears to tell the difference between both versions of the s4 chip sets. Disagree? Blind test i9500 and 9505 yourself and see if you can tell the difference.... I have and my ears ain't good enough to differentiate between the two.

Pretty sure that the I9505 with some future decent mods it could maybe even get better sound than with siyah (scoobydoo) sound on the sIII. This chip imo has much potential. I did a tryout with poweramp yesterday I was amazed and blown away to be honest

I'm using viper mod and bmsound atm. There is a post in the at&t themes and app forum for where someone detailed what they did. It sounds pretty good surprisingly. The OP claims that those two work well with bmsound amplifying lows and viper doing a very good job at mids and highs. I'd post the link but at work right now.
This thread has obviously run its course...

Power Amp works well for me. It has an amp, equaliser, separate bass and treble. You can have separate presets for speakers, headset and Blue tooth. They have trial version.

Heres another audio mod for the nexus 5. tested on c-rom 7.1, seems to be a bit louder and bassier but would like feedback from others willing to try it, preferably on roms without other sound mods. I found it works well with viper
ps im using some cheap Philips earphones & noticed a small improvement but it could be a placebo effect

a nandroid or backup is recommended. alternatively if u have rootexplorer or the like, backup or rename the system/libs/soundfx folder and system/etc/audio_effects.conf prior to install
updated with v2. would like some feedback to see if its working for others or whether its just placebo
@ dead0, OK I will give it a shot. Didn't notice anything changing with first build.
A few things to consider. I am always looking for good sound filters. I currently rate viperaudio fx newest with altering the audio.XML file in etc folder the best. (Volumeboost.zip in screenshot is by Audigod of SOKP Rom), Followed by Noozy player with Dolby Mobile and Noozoxide Pro and Beats Audio mod.
The filters are a mod and boosting sound volume values inside system seem to be the best way to go.
What does this mod of yours consist of?
Just filters or a updater script also to actually boost audio? Thanks!
