My wifi works just fine on task AOKP, but it is really slow on the cm10 nightly.
Is anyone else having this issue?

No issues here with WiFi on CM 10.1 6/1-6/7 nightly
No issues on Slim, I break 70... If the test would run longer, I'm sure it would be faster...

I am using cm7 rc2 and for some reason when I play a video other than youtube it plays as if a tv is on a channel with real bad reception but I can hear it with no problem. I have flashplayer 10.2 and I'm using it on wifi with a perfect connection. I searched the forum but guess I'm the only one with this problem but if anyone has had this problem and been able to fix it please let me know also reboot does not change nothing other than that everything works with no problems and no Fc's.

I had to go back to 10.1 for it to work. From what i understand RC3 fixed the flash problems. but i've yet to verify it....

Edit. RC3 does fix the flash player. I had sound and good video with it.
Thanks alot I just didn't want to go to rc3 cause everything seems to be working great n fast for me with rc2 I know this cm is very stable not sure how stable cm7 rc3 is.
10.1 is working great for me thanks a lot I really never noticed a difference with 10.2 while I had it anyway.

Each release gets better; 2 is better than 1 ; 3 is better than 2 and so forth.

Is upgrading from cm 7.1 to 7.2 worth it? Anything noticable on the nook?

If you were running 7.1 stable, there are many enhancements. Worth doing. If you were running one of the later nightlies, fixes some bugs.

I couldn't get 1200 mhz overclocking or Volume+ to work with my old version of 7.1. They work fine now.
Also the icons in the notification bar changed from green to teal... uhh... sweet.
I upgraded to 7.2 from nightly 253 and am liking it. It seems to be running a bit smoother, battery life is a bit better and haven't had any sleep of death issues (which were occurring with 253). I think it is all due to the power of teal!
Oh, yes, 7.2.0-RC1-encore is definitely worth your while.
While you're at it, try out the CM9 nightlies for fun and then follow that up with installing 7.2.0-RC1 on your Nook.
I don't experience sleeps-of-death like I did on all official and hacked and KANG builds of 7.1.X.
It's faster. It's snappy. It really does have the right DPI support.
It has iptables.
Give it a try.
I know it is not differnet than the fxp builds but it is the official final version so it should be good. I am flashing it right know, when its finished i will share my experiene. Has anyone tried it yet?
Okay what i can say for know is that its awesome. Everything (not xperia play related) is working fine and even the performence seems to be a little better. Not as good as CM10 but better.
Just flashed it a while ago, and currently those games like Bruce Lee and Crash Bandicoot doesn't work. I think the kernel is the problem (maybe?). Currently, the kernel flashed here is the freexperia one.

No, it's the game not the kernel. There is a gamepad fix (that fxp nor cm ever put it) that fixes some games, but there will always be some games that will never work past stock (aosp based roms) and since devs have no access to that source they won't be fixed
Has CM9 reached the speed of CM7 yet? The last time I tried it was FXP128 and it's just SO SLOW in comparison to CM7. Opening apps happens lightning fast on cm7 and takes a fair while on CM9. Even thing like opening the recent apps popup takes far too long on CM9. Is any of this improved?

Well, it will never be as fast as gb because it's a huge ram hog, but it is in no way slow at all. cm10 is coming along nicely, so you could wait for that if you like

I too thought it was something to do with RAM but the avail. RAM reported in CM7 is around the same as CM9. CM9 said 353 and CM7 says 357.
I took this from "about phone" in the settings, I'm assuming that's available RAM AFTER system use so I don't think RAM is causing the speed issue.
I don't know, but I don't like the CM9. CM10 is much faster and has higher/smoother FPS.
For me:
CM7 vs CM9: CM7 win.
CM9 vs CM10: CM10 win.
CM7 vs CM10: CM7 win for Gaming, CM10 win for Appearance + Features.
Just sharing my thoughts
Data not working for me. Tried both stable as well as the latest nightly. Anyone else facing this problem?

Nope. Work for me. I used stable and RC.
Bad, the WiFi issue pisses me off (few days of usage) then I get the WiFi loop, I avoid CM9 based roms now, I'm using CM10.
Hi,
I got a Nexus 10 device and get random reboots, bluetooth- and Wifi-problems and wonder if those problems are solved in other ROMs.
I've looked at ParanoidAndroid, CM10.1, AOKP and so on and they seem(?) premature for now? They all seem lovely though and after some time when they had the chance to mature I'll test all of them anyway
Is Nexus 10 a too new device so no one had the time to release a stable(Released as Stable by group) version of any Original Rom Dev?
Sv: [Q] Roms NOT affected by 4.2.* issues
Anyone...?

I'm running CleanROM 2.0 and no reboot issues. I strongly believe that Chrome Browser is a major culprit with the reboot issue. CR does not contain Chrome, uses AOSP browser by default.

How about the bluetooth and wifi issues?
Depends what you mean. Some people have problems connecting to some hardware, others dont. It is somewhat of a 4.2 issue, but it also has to do with hardware compatibility and what version of hardware you have for your bluetooth. You might just be SOL.
random reboots seem to happen a little bit from 4.2 issues but also from software compatibility issues from things that dont work well with the new system. So it will just take time there as well.
Thank you very much!

I don't have any WiFi issues. Don't use Bluetooth
I had some major issues with 4.2 on my nexus 7, which I was able to solve by flashing cm10.1 - this is 2 months ago. When I got the nexus 10 a month ago, I kinda immediately flashed cm10.1 and have not had 1 issue with it so far.... just my 2c
I've had reboot problems with the stock ROM and the Official AOKP ROM with the kernel it comes with. I've never had issues with bluetooth and my only problem with wifi is that it is not nearly as strong as my Galaxy S2's wifi. I've had no problems with Paranoid or CM, but I used ktoonsez's kernel with those. Right now, I am using Task650's AOKP with ktoonsez's kernel and it's running flawless. I have a lot of love for them as I use their stuff on my phone too. As far as I can tell, the problems are in the kernel.
CM10.1, and Franco kernal here with absolutely no problems...
I'm stock rooted build JOD40F without freezes .

I still have CM11 on my Sprint S4, one of the Milestone releases. But I'm thinking about taking the lollipop plunge.
Can anyone tell me how the nightlies are on the jfltespr? Stable enough for everyday use? (Everything working, not crashing often, etc)
thanks

BlissPop just dropped for us, it's running great so far
I ended up going with today's build. I miss the flashlight shortcut on lock screen, have any idea how to enable that?
