[Q] gapps v6 (for ICS) on gingerbread (CM7)??

can we use gapps v6 for ics on gingerbread without risk ?
i have a MM2 with cm7 and after testing of ICS CM9 i would use new gmail apps

[Q] Regarding GingerXperia and Gapps

I'm on Ginger Xperia V24b, but a new version is out: [ROM] GingerXperia||ESPECIAL EDITION|| nAa kernel ANDROID 2.3.7 GINGERBREAD CM7.
V25nAa is out now, do I need to do a full wipe if I want to upgrade?
When I selecet to Reboot into Xrecovery, then FreeXperia X8 Recovery v001 starts up instead.. whats up with that? And can I use it all the same? I wanted to get gapps, downloaded it from http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php?title=Latest_Version#Google_Apps , but they don't have any for my Xperia 8, what am I suppose to do?
I also have Clockwork Mod v3.2 I have now tried to use it, selected install from zip, found the gapps .. said its done. Then I tried to Fix permissons, but that process is stuck :/

Question regarding flashing a .35 rom (Aurora)

I had installed Aurora 4.1 on my phone and I recently installed Elora (elite aurora) on my phone but the sense theme has not changed.
All I did was the 3 wipes and then installed it. Someone suggested to do also a system format. My question is, if I do it will I have to install the official gingerbread by huawei and THEN install Elora or will I be able to install Elora (a .35 rom) without problem?

[Q] Percy cm#2 kernel WiFi Help

I'm NEW here
can you plase tell me what wifi driver should i flash along with [email protected] kernel ? My Wifi is not turning on after installing Percy kernel it just simply shows "ERROR"
i tried white xp drivers AND stock driver AND ril fix too. But it didn't work
.
i want to use percy kernel for increasing internel memory using Amarullz script
I'm usnig CM 7.2 Reincarnation s5 edition ROM
My baseband is DDMD1

You dont need any different wifi driver with that kernel
Percys cm7.2 kernel is only to be used with percys version of cm7 - if you are using it with any other version of cm7 wifi and bluetooth will not work
If the ROM is based on Percy's cm7 see solution at end of my explaination
If you are using biels version of cm7 you must use his common kernel - you will find links on the op of the rom thread or search dev section
Whites WiFi driver is for whites kernel or hells fusion #50 kernel only for use with stock based ROMs
Ril files I posted are again for stock based roms only and are not to be used with cm7 based roms and is to do with imei and nothing to do with WiFi
If you are using a stock based rom you must use a stock based kernel
If the ROM is based on Percy's build of cm7 and you still get WiFi error after flashing his kernel try the following
Using a root browser set the following file permissions (long press file or folder and select set permissions but each root browser is different)
Goto
system/etc
set permission of wifi folder to rwxrwxrwx
open wifi folder
set permission of wpa_supplicant.conf to rwxrwxrwx

Hi guyz
I want to increase performance and speed of my leon, stock lolipop rooted.
Which mod can I install on this device? Have anyone tried some script/mod? I mean for example v6 supercharger or pure performence X or Fly on mod etc.
I add that i have no custom recovery cause as you know at the moment there is no custom recovery for our phone
So in my opinion the only way i can install any mod is script manager because i dont trust apps like flashify(maybe i'm wrong)
