new nightly

I downloaded and ran the new nightly 253. I'm getting a strange bars next to my wifi signal in the status bar. I can make it go away by changing the style of the battery indicator but it comes back on reboot.
I ran nightly 217 with no problems then updated to 246 and got the airplane icon that was always there. read around and saw someone mentioned android assistant. used it to get rid of the airplane icon but now the bars wont go away even after the new nightly
can anyone help me.
should I just go back to the 217 that I liked and had no problems with?
Look at the CM thread, there is a flashible zip for both the signal bar fix(the one you need) and the sod fix.

What's the benefit of the new nightlies over the 7.1.0 stable? Any reason to flash up from that?

Unfortunately, so much of the page is taken up by changes in 2 nightlies it doesn't tell you much.
Does anyone know where the archived changes are?

Official Xoom CM10 Nightlies

Hey guys! Official Xoom CM10 Nightlies have been released! I'm not the developer or one in general, I'm just sending out the message.
The latest builds can be found at http://get.cm/?device=wingray&type=nightly.
On a related note though, I've tried both the 9/06 and 9/07 builds and neither were able to boot. I'm just warning you now. If you find a way to get them to boot, please let me know.

just tried the 09/08 build and was unable to boot.
Just wait for steady to make an official thread in the development section. Then we'll know we're good to flash the official nightlies
I ran some of his first experimental builds, things looked promising as always from the CM team. Running CNA in the meantime, but I too am eager to go back to flashing CM nightlies. Did have the occasional reboot on some of the older experimental builds, that's why I'm at CNA for stability.
Fingers crossed, can't wait

Same. CM9 boots fine. EOS 3 boots fine. CM10 sits at a blank screen.
Those of you that have CM10 booting, what recovery are you on?

Nightlies are daily build that are unstable for testing only, but most people flash these and complain when they run into problem.
Snapshots (M1, M2) etc are milestones and tend to be more stable so I think you should be safe flashing them.
RC are release candidates, which means if no bugs are found it will become the stable version.
You should just go ahead and try it, you can always create a Nandroid backup with your recovery. Although you will be going from 4.2.2 (10.1.3) to 4.3 (10.2), so to avoid issues do a factory reset before flashing the new version.

CM13 with WiFi problem

I flashed CM 13 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/development/6-0-x-cyanogenmod-13-oneplus-2-t3292436) and I got a wifi problem: when ON, it will continually turn OFF and ON without stopping, until I turn it off manually;
any ideas? I can't use wifi like this!
Method already used: set wifi to 2,4 Ghz - flashed "New Modem" - WiFi is working with other ROMs, so it's a CM13 problem!
There have been reports of wifi issues with Seraph's build. I am using Cyanpop (201602225) and Benschholds kernel 1.2 and its solid as a rock (everything including Wifi).

I finally flashed the Cyanpop like the user told me. Now Wifi is perfectly working like everything. I don't know why other ROMs cm13 get this problem and cyanpop works nice.
But I found out that is a problem of ''MY WIFI'', of my router. It certainly has a particular option flagged that cause this problem.. If you find solution please contact me!

[7.1.1] LineageOS 14.1 kernel for Korean Note 2

what specific ril patch should we use on shv-e250k models?

How to install Android 6 on Korean Note 2 devices:
Big thanks to @Strawberry_dev, he actually made this possible. He is the one to make a kernel to convert N7015 AOSP ROMs to Korean ones. Thank him (and ROM devs), this is NOT my work! I just wrote this tutorial.
I strongly recommend this to everyone. Way better than Samsung 4.4. It literally saved me from a buying new device. It's really fast and up to date. Suitable for use in 2016.

sir.do you have any links for the files that you used?especially the RIL patch. i did follow the instructions but I had problems downloading the ril patch. if you could upload it through mediafire or any cloud servers. that would be great. I guess what causes my SHV-E250K to bootloop is that the RIL patch was not flashed and it stucked on the Cyanogen Icon
Note 2 E250S - unable to get wifi working
I now have everything working except wifi. I downloaded the wifi mac address patch, but it didn't help. Is there an app I can use for the wifi? Or an alternative patch to download and flash? Thank you.

That's very strange. Wifi should work. When I flash roms for N7100, N7105, etc. wifi works every single time.
The only thing that comes to my mind is that you weren't running latest firmware prior to installing this.
Forget Android 6 and go to Android 7. From Android 4.4, just follow the steps in the 1st thread, but do not install Widzard Kernel 2.7 & Gapps for 6.0. Then, download and dirty install any Android 7 ROM for N7105 and the corresponding GAPPS. Please note than Widzard Kernel does not seem compatible with Android 7. The Kernel included in the Android 7 ROM is enough for Korean Galaxy Note 2 (mine : SHV-E250S).

True :good: But vibrator not working yet on E250S...On the other hand, widzard kernel has problem recording video so without it that will work.

It would be cool if Widzard kernel dev updated it to Nougat. But that's still not LinaegeOS original kernel.

Please test this on your E250L and E250K and we'll see if we can get things working for you.
