Okay here's the deal, I just got the Galaxy s4 bell canada SGH-I337M couple weeks ago, and I rooted it recently 2-3 days ago using the motochopper method, succcessful, I downloaded LCD Density Modder because I was googling up nifty apps, and later the day I forgot how to use it... so I just winged, and set the DPI I think it is, from 480 DPI to 520 DPI, I let the phone reboot and it turned on and showed the Samsung Galaxy S4 logo then just went completely black, and the blue LED light would stay on steady... I then attempted to go into recovery and did a hard reset, wiping everything cache and data, noticed that the the red triangle error was in recovery mode also... still didn't work
I decided to try and flash a custom recovery and root it with TWRP and I flashed it with odin and it is now successfuly with twrp, but it still not working and now I have no idea what to do from here, I tried googling and searching but no one has had problems with galaxy s4 yet....
If I recall on the Galaxy S3 a black screen and blue steady led light is whats called sudden death??
Can anybody help me? I tried downloading multi odin but it always closes whenever I use the stock firmware for the package portion..
Get into twrp recovery and wipe everything, system, data, dalvik/cache, preload, then format data. when that's done power off and go into download mode and Odin flash the stock ROM. you should be good to go after that

I think its working but still not sure..
the flash was good, and when it rebooted it was tsuck on the Samsung Galaxy S4 logo for 10 minutes so I just turned it off then booted it back up, it went past the logo then on to the animation samsung boot, with the blue led on steady then it vibrated twice and rebooted again, and is now back to the Samsung Galaxy S4 logo screen again.
Oh and just rebooted it into recovery mode and there's a red triangle android... along with the reboot menu

You may have to wipe data/factory reset to continue.

after doing what you suggested the galaxy s4 logo shows for a few seconds then powers off, and repeats.
i am now unable to load recovery as the phone shuts off too quickly
download mode works fine, and i tried going back to stock, but it still won't boot
is this a strange kind of brick mode?
Try flashing a Canadian kernel

this time the phone went through the samsung boot animation & sound, but stayed on flashing samsung for 5 minutes then powered off

I had the same thing. I would recommend using odin to go back to bare bones stock, then go through the procedure. I'm fortunate that i have like 4 i377m's on my desk at the moment, so i took a new one out of the box, used odin to flash a custom recovery, booted into the phone, transferred the zip file, rebooted into the recovery, flashed, and booted.
it booted, but everything was crashing, i did a full wipe, and now i have a sweet google phone.
Now that i've moved phones, I'll odin to stock my problem phone and put it back in the box.
The only other odd thing i tried was to use the "golden backup" to unlock my phone (failed), wondering if that might have had something to do with it?
On checking several threads/websites/google. I still can't even get past the bootscreen.
I changed a theme; downloaded it via Omega Pro; flashed it and now it just won't go any further than the black screen showing the text "Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9505"
I've installed the latest Odin304 and used "CF-Auto-Root-jflte-jfltexx-gti9505.tar.md5" as the PDA file. Followed the instructions as per; Checked Auto Reboot & F. Reset Time. Into download mode and hooked up phone. Reboot phone and it just stays on the boot screen.
Any other ideas? Any would be much appreciated, as I just want to revert this back to original state.
Cheers

I assume you have a custom recovery installed? If so boot into recovery and wipe cache and dalvik cache....See if that works.
Failing that boot into recovery and factory reset your device....see if that works
Hi everyone,
I am having a bit of a problem with my s4-i9505. A few weeks ago I upgraded to Android 5.0.1 manually (using Odin) and all seemed to work like a charm. I also rooted it to. So far so good
Last week an OTA was pushed and I mistakenly clicked okay. Suddenly the battery drain was insane. I read up on it and one of the solutions was to clear the cache. I powered down my s4, pressed the Volume Up + Home + Power button and for an instant I saw in small blue letters in the upper left corner: Recovery mode and underneath it the Samsung logo. Then the screen went black and booted normally.
Since then I've tried
using apps that make the S4 boot into recovery
reflashed the stock 5.0.1 firmware
reflashed an older version (4.4.2) causing a bootloop
reflashed the stock 5.0.1 firmware (solving the bootloop)
Flashing CWM recovery using ODIN.
Still only the text Recovery mode shows up, before rebooting and booting up normally.
Does anyone have a solution to my conundrum?
I managed to fix it myself eventually. I did a factory reset from within Android settings. And now i can get back into recovery mode.

Hi
I am stuck with Pulsing blue LED and the "Powered by Android" screen,
have access to both the recovery and the Odin Mode,
I also have Odin (version 3.13) on my computer along with TWRP (3.1.1 trlte and 3.2.1 version)
My device is a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 N910F bought in shop, no special carrier. It was bought in Belgium.
I have tried everything that I have read. The furthest that I can go is the Second Samsung Logo with the Flashing Light
Whenever I try to Flash the stock Firmware for my N910F, everything goes well in Odin but then when the phone reboots, it (sometimes) install the system update until 30% then shows erasing then either crashes right there and then or load the system update bar, completes it then shuts down.
In between I do perform a wipe of the cache and factory reset of course. (in both normal and TWRP recovery)
Whatever I do, at some point, my phone either gets stuck in a bootloop, freezes with the LED light or shuts down.
Oh and I can transfer files directly to the internal storage with no issue
Please help a brother out lol. I have spent the last 4 days looking for a way to fix this. To no avail.
And I have also proceeded to use different batteries.
I have the exact same problem. Doesn't anyone have an idea?

I installed a theme using substratum and synergy and when I went to apply the theme on galaxy themes my phone suddenly showed the Samsung logo and turned off. Now it's not booting. When I press the power button the galaxy s8 logo comes up and next is the installing system updates then Android recovery comes up. I've also tried flashing the stock firmware using the home csc but it didn't solve the issue. Please help me to fix this issue and I don't want to erase the data inside.
I have the same issue. Phone start with installing update and boots to recovery. After a minute or two it hangs up their. I was able to factory reset but still it boots into recovery. Also flash firmware successfully via Odin, it does the normal boot but then hangs on erasing blue screen for the 1st time after Odin flash and upon force restart boots back to recovery. Mine is bootloader locked and full stock rom no modification. Looks me the motherboard issue.i may be wrong.
Hope anyone has work around to this problem.
Thanks

Try flashing substratum uninstaller through twrp recovery, if the above method didn't work try flashing with normal CSC not home CSC your data will wipe
