The things in common:
made by Motorola
locked bootloader
somewhat water resistant
That's all I think. You can try the root scripts for gingerbread defy+ roms, as its also a Motorola. For the rest you won't find anything useful here.
Could I use Maniac103's defy build on my 2.3 ker... (forgot this word) BL7 defy plus ?I am useing eur skank's defy plus build now. sorry for my poor English

you post the same question in two diferent section:good:
You are confused. Quarx and Epsylons defy builds do not work with 2.3 kernel. Only their defy+ builds work with 2.3 kernel. Their defy builds require 2.2 kernel. Make sense? They make 2 different builds, one for defy and one for defy+
If you have red lense defy you can and probably should use defy+ builds. This still requires 2.3 kernel because you would be using a defy+ build. Make sense?

wrong section thread,and for cm9 you could try jellyX kernel,not regular kernel or you'll get stucked on higher bl nuber
