Does upgrading your firmware really boosts your phone's performance?
I am planning to upgrade my LG L3 E400 (V10j) firmware to V10n/V10c/V10q. It is because lately I found out that whenever I open up my wifi (multiple times without restarting my phone) it hangs. Can upgrading fix this problem? Is this problem also occurs more often to your devices? Please response. I am deeply worried about it. Thank you in advance. God bless!

Hi everyone, I currently have a samsung galaxy S4 I9505 phone running android 4.3. I upgraded to 4.3 via Odin not via the inbuilt software update. Im wondering if it is at all possible to downgrade to 4.2.2 because with 4.3 their has been an introduction of a lot of bugs to apps such as Chrome and Spotify. These bugs have since been really getting annoying and the only time I didn't have to deal with them would be when I was running 4.2.2.
Alternatively can anyone tell me if upgrading to android Kitkat for S4 would potentially fix these problems?
Any help will of course be greatly appreciated and even if no help can be given thanks for taking the time to read this post.

Forget the word Downgrade
this is not possible without problems (and they are many)

No , you can't downgrade!
All,
I updated my G900H to lollipop via Odin, after the update I lost the touchscreen completely, I tried different firmwares to downgrade back to kit kat wih the same result, no touchscreen.
On my of my final attempts I rooted the phone while on Kit Kat and flashed the bootloader and modem only, when it restarted the touchscreen worked for 15min and then died again.
Is it possible that this issue is software related? Or was it just a coincidence that the touchscreen decided to die on me exactly when I updated the phone? :crying:
Thanks a lot for yur help

Hello Everyone,
I have decided to try flashing a custom rom on my samsung galaxy s4 (i9500), since I'm tired of waiting for further updates from Samsung. My phone is stuck on 5.0.1 and for months the most annoying problem that I have is the massive battery drain whenever Wi-Fi is on. So I am seeking help from you guys on how to start this tedious process?
I am newbie and I would like to know what files are needed.
Also, to fellow i9500 users, can you suggest what is the most stable (no battery drain issue) custom rom?
Thank you .
