I see it has to be decompiled / compiled. Never was successful at that in the past lol.

I would be interested in this as well if it is doable...

You can decompile SecWallpaperChooser.apk, replace the stock wallpapers, and recompile it. It's a hassle if you change wallpapers a lot though.

There is a systemui that I did in the theme section that has the 100% trans status bar and other things done to it. It for odexed roms and has to be pushed to system/app have not made a flash able zip yet... made them before us att users had a custom recovery

None of the mods have just the status bar transparency. They all seem to include other mods?

That's kinda a silly question mate. Replace the SystemUI.apk of that rom with yours, and also insert lidroid-res.apk in your framework. Don't do the changes directly, make a flashable zip (there's a guide by kurotsugi) and flash it.
Btw, i don't really know if this has been tried before.

Here it is - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1669489. Btw, i expected you to search. Do remember that next time.
And about the other thing you referred to, i suppose you refer to the theme, and i really don't know much about that! But there are two other apks, framework-res.apk and twframework-res.apk in /system/framework which are used for theming along with SystemUI.apk . You can decompile them and check for yourself.

Fonts?

Anyone manage to install new fonts that don't suck via flashable zips or any other method?

Download an app called iFont. Horrible name but great app for applying fonts! Only way I've found to change fonts. You can even install fonts to the app that are locally on the device. Good luck!
Rom Tool Kit Lite or Pro works fantastic. I had no problem installing fonts on my ATT s4 running Liquid Smooth :thumbup:
"Zed?Zed's dead baby;Zed's dead"
Ya ROM tool box that's the one I forgot about thanks

Personally, I use Font Changer Lite [root]. Once installed, just find a .ttf file an put it in the .FontChanger folder on your sdcard, and it changes ALL fonts (statusbar, text messaging, system fonts, everything). If you want different fonts for specific apps or whatever, you can use the advanced option to specify. @martino2k6 is the creator, and all credit goes to him. I've been using this app since I got my Atrix 4G in 2011. Check it out.

Also, I know the following font packs thread is a bit dated, but there's a ton of them here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=16163558
Personally, I love the Armani font. I've attached it below. If you want to try it out just drop the .txt from the end of the file.

I use Font Changer Lite too. Just make sure to only use TTF (TrueType) fonts and not OTF (OpenType) or you won't be able to boot.

i9500, i9505 Theme insall to Sprint S4

I saw this theme in the i9500, i9505 theme forum and thought it looked good.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2271332
I tried to flash it to a couple Touchwiz Roms on my sprint s4 but it wouldn't boot afterwards. I searched the thread and saw someone try it on the Verizon s4 without any luck as well. Does anyone know if it's difficult to get this to work on the Sprint s4? If its not difficult can anyone hook me up? I have no idea what all would be involved in doing so.
Thanks!

Yeah, I tried Reverpats theme and the Blu Kuban rom. Those were nice but I liked the gray and softer blue of the discreet blue theme I linked to a little better. Thought I'd throw it out there to see if it was simple to make it compatible for our devices.

You can try swapping out the "update-binary" and "updater-script" from Reverpats theme with the one in Discreet Blue. You'll need to use win-rar or 7zip to access the zip and then the META-INF folder to get to these.

I gave this a shot. It flashed and let the phone boot but nothing changed. When I first tried to flash the discreet blue theme, the phone wouldn't boot after flashing.
Color in hd theme from the tmobile s4 works on our phone only problem I had was the wifi Wouldnt shut off right away which I fixed by simply flashing a kernal stock or agat after the theme then everything works perfect.

What Rom and mods are you using? That looks like what a Samsung UI search looks like.
Did you recently install a Mod?
Stock rom. I just noticed I lost the ability to theme individual icons. Instead of the option to name and change icon, it just picks it up and I have option to delete or show info. Maybe my launcher is gone? I had x posed with g2 settings installed but I uninstalled them. Would an option to select theme just disappear?

Yes, there should be an option at the top. Something tells me that a theme you tried to install conflicted with the stock rom that might have not been compatible.
If youve added any mods or themes I would freeze or remove them in titanium backup and restart and see if that fixes the issue.
Most of my theme icons came back except the apps icon after few reboots. Does titanium detect and let me remove themes even if my option to theme is gone?

Yes because after you flash the zips in recovery they become apk's

Ok hmm, can you see them in titanium Bu? They should be apk's, if so go on and try uninstalling them. This should fix your problem if its a theme conflicting with your stock image.
I had this issue as well.

Sorry but why are you trying this through ADB? You are decompiling and editing your own LGSystemUI.apk switching icons and you are trying to overwrite it? (pull and push)
Do you have ROOT access? This app is in System and I think root is a must and if you trying to change it while ROM is running it will crash.
So I guess you are doing it in Recovery ? Meaning you are rooted, and you are adding the correct permissions?
So either you are not rooted in which case I do not think this is possible or you are rooted and there is more things that can go wrong.
Need more info from you.
ALSO if you are rooted why dont you try Xposed and its vast theming possibilities ? Easier as decompiling an app. Even here in this section you should have some options to choose from.
Thanks for response so yes i am root no rom installed i did this all day in my epic when i had it but its not working on this lg the whole reason is for so i can change the wifi and signal bar icons only to a specific icons i have, any help please

I am not sure I can help you there much. As you did not mention where it fails?
Its a long time since I was doing this with the APKTool or some "All in one" solution. http://www.xda-developers.com/android/guide-to-decompiling-and-recompiling-with-apktool/
Basically you have to find the right tool for the right Android version. Follow the guide on the recompiling - so LG accepts the file. And adb push in recovery with the permissions so you do not have problems starting it.
Always have a back up!
But maybe check in the xposed department really. I mean here are some modders already
I would suggest write them a PM like @ock he made a theme kitkat icons in his thread. Maybe he could just tell you how to exchange it with your own icons.
Imma research thanks man u pointed me in right direction so far
