Update without root

Hey peops
This might be a question that has already been answered but im not really sure. If it is sorry
I have fascinate and its not rooted and I wanted to update to 2.2.1 without having to root it. If so does anyone have the update.zip for it.

HOW TO FLASH Fascinate to Straight Talk
OK I already see that I am gonna get blown up with PMs about flashing to Straight Talk and how I did it.
First you must have a Straight Talk phone of your own if not I can provide you one.
PM me for more details about that.
You are going to need the 16 digit password:
PM me for that as well.
Then you will have to the MEID and switch it to the Fascinate.
NOTE<<<<<YOU MUST THROW AWAY THE STRAIGHT TALK PHONE AS IT IS ILLEGAL TO HAVE 2 PHONES ACTIVE AT THE SAME TIME.>>>>>>
I am not responsible if you break the law. This is your warning. I flash phones for a living, MetroPCS, Boost Mobile, and Straight Talk, and this is how I keep my hands clean.
Then once you do that reboot the phone and dial *22890
Let the phone activate and reboot.
Once it reboots make a call to anyone. It should ask you to hit the number "1"
Do so and the call should go through
Then hang up and you should have working Data.
Nothing else test everything and don't forget to thank.

It depends on what 2 Androids you have. But the answer is yes you probably can.

[Q] us cellular defy on straight talk

I got a defy from us cellular from a friend and im not sure how to hook it up i know that i have to buy a sim but i want to make sure since im not sure if the phone runs on cdm? or gsm sorry about the noob question but i cant find anything so thanks ahead of time

msl help! where is my android developer god to help me?

I can't get my msl using any current suggested method and I can't call sprint besides they suck I need to get my msl and this phone is locked down to the extreme. 4.3 jelly bean sucks because of it someone plz guide Me or make something so I can retieve the msl. I rooted the phone but without a good kernal this phone has alot of secuity shame on samsung

S4 (sacs rom) work in Paris? Heading there soon...

Any tips for someone taking his S4 to Paris...ive never had this phone in europe, no idea what it can and can't do. sprint says theres coverage...but id like confirmation from some of you fine folks.

im running a way old Sacs 4.2 rom, which i need to reflash anyway soon cuz the GPS done broke on it months ago.

It should be fine just call sprint to see what u need to jump on intl lines and you may have to find .apk for the intl settings I don't think he added in on that ver. ?

Or do the international unlock yourself. Takes less than 5 mins (did it on 3 Sprint GS4s now) and buy a Sim that will work in Paris.

hmmm, do you have time to elaborate slightly...what are the benefits of unlocking myself...im down with that for sure, but would like to know what the advantage is to that, versus me finding the intl .apk and just calling sprint? thanks Daniel!

You get it done right away. As opposed opposed to Sprint who you have to be on the phone with for 20+ mins. And the ota unlock that they send doesn't always work. So you would have to call again for them to resend it.

I been trying to root this sg5 prime after i do the phone brick and give me this

Uh huh. The S5 prime has only been released for a week or so, so almost no one outside of Korea is going to have any direct experience with it. Hopefully someone who has the prime can assist you - but I'd say the chances of that are slim.
It's too bad that you didn't provide any useful technical details so that people could help troubleshoot.
