Hello! some times when I push the center hardware button the touchwiz is empty from icons than in 1/2 second all icons appear again.
how do i know wich is the problem?
I am stock non rooted xxuamdm.
no special app (i mean i don't think so...)
just whatsapp plus, 2 or the folders, the stock application active widget,
statusvolume plus
notification toggles
i think all the rest is "normal"

Hey guys, I recently upgraded my OS to: 2.3.5 Baseband I9100BUKI1 and I rearranged my icons such that gmail is one icon on the tray that stays permanently at the bottom when changing screens, but whenever I send an email, it disappears off the tray and goes back to the main app tray. Any ideas? Not rooted or anything. Just OEM everything!

My launcher and app drawer never stay in the order I left them since 2.3.4 firmwares.
between reboots, RAM clears etc.

I would like to use a few widgets on my lockscreen (clock, agenda, facebook, etc...) but Im dind find out how to put more then one of them on a lockscreen???

This should have been asked in the Q&A section so will probably be moved.
When at the lockscreen can you not drag the current widget down to maximise and then swipe to the right, you should then be able to tap a '+' icon to add a widget.
Notifications on lockscreen

I recently upgraded from the SGS3 to the SGS4.
I realize that everytime I get a new text message, I have to swipe across the lockscreen (the one with the clock) to get to the message notification widget. Thats seems a bit odd to me, coming from the notification bubbles on SGS3.
Is there a way I can get notification bubbles (I know its a long shot) or possibly the notification for a new message on the same lockscreen as the clock is?
I do not want two separate lockscreens for the clock and the notifications.
I tried deleting the clock lockscreen, but it just keeps coming back.
It seems like everytime I get a new message, I have no option but to have two lockscreens.
Is there a solutions to this ?

Im not sure if this is exactly what you're after, but go to the messaging app>settings, scroll down to near the bottom and check 'Preview message'. This should give you a preview of your received message that you can tap to take you straight to the messaging app.

I installed KitKat for the n9005 and I noticed that when I open the notification bar and long press something like wireless, location or sound and their respective settings open I can see for a split second the new icons present in the s5
After that split second the old icon appears in the top left corner
So the question is, does anyone know how to activate the new icons for the note without root?

After my S5 (non-rooted, official, knox 0x0) was updated to Lollipop, I've been facing the following problem:
Every few days all the app icons disappear from the apps menu. However, all the tabs that should contain them are still there, but are empty! Additionally, I cannot open any folder that contains app icons on the home screen. To add to that, when I click on the home-screen menu settings that should display the widgets, options etc. the screen does the zoom out effect but no icons/options appear; only an empty screen .
When that happens, I've tried switching to the "Easy Mode" interface option, which still works and thus I can access apps and settings again. If I switch, back to normal mode everything disappears once again!! :cyclops:
I've been able to fix this problem by going to the Application Manager and clearing the data/cache of the TouchWiz home-screen app, but every time I do that (second time today) I loose all home screen settings, widgets, icons order etc. and this is getting annoying!

Just found another way to solve this that seems to work:
1) Switch to Easy Mode
2) Restart phone
3) Switch back to normal mode and everything is back in place

OK, the above is only temporary; after a few minutes the problem came back!

Starting a separate thread for missing/broken functions on Rooted Xposed Note 4 On Stock Touchwiz Kitkat 4.4.4
HELP :
Customised the phone in every possible way except three functions still missing :
a. Lockscreen widgets not available with phone on Pattern Lock, only on Swipe or None. Used to be easily available on my earlier JB Note3. But now Xposed Modules for Lockscreen Widgets or Widgetlocker are not working. Only way I can get them is by installing an S5 Xposed module for Locker Widgets and then Samsung Multiple Widgets Module. But that only gets me going on Swipe Lock, not pattern/Fingerprint/PIN.
b. Unable to change the stock dialer's background color. Earlier in my Note 3 JB had black color when call was dialing which changed to green only once the call connected, in this stock Kitkat ROM the color is green beforehand so that without vibration its impossible to know if the call is connected unless you are listening through earpiece. All 3rd party Dialers are of no use since at the time of actual calling they all take you to stock Dialer.
c. Whenever I try to select any text in any app, soon as I take the selection cursor behind the popped-up keyboard the selection cursor disappears and I CANNOT select any more text below. In the previous JB ROM, I could continue scrolling down and selecting text automatically even behind the Keyboard, but not anymore. Dont know if this is stock behavior or one of the apps/Xposed modules triggered this. Members can guide.

Just to update point no.c is resolved. Instead of using stock Gmail App if you use Email App then the problem disappears, and I had issue mainly with my mail app.
Now if only a and b also get resolved, I will have a truly Magical Phone
Quick Update : Used Hell00's Dialer Mod to change the background color to Black theme, so part of the dialer issue resolved. But the background color doesnt change once call connected like it did with my Note3 JB, so only partly resolved.
