Hi
I saw quite a few people mention that they use the Logitech BT Headset. I just bought one and I cant seem to get it to work with the XDA II.
When I go to the "Bonding" tab and click on "New.." it doesnt discover the BT Headset. Can someone with the Logitech headset help me?
Thanks
Got it working
A few soft resets worked well.
You have to keep the (answer/end call ) button pressed while you are trying to discover it, the LED will flash blue / red while in this mode.
Hi everyone!
I just bought my Touch last week. I paired my bluetooth handsfree (Nokia BH-100). The volume came from my bluetooth, was sooooo slow! I used this bluetooth of mine with my previous phone(motorola V3x) and it worked fine.
I've gone through some forums in the net about how to edit the bluetooth registry but still, nothing!
Does anyone encountered such problem or have a solution for this? Please help! Many thanks!
For some reason I have yet to see an answer regarding this one way or the other. I'm guessing it can't be corrected.
Hello Everyone!
I got so many little issues I'll try to start with the easiest and see if we can get them sorted out.
To start, heres what I have as far as hardware.
Samsung Nexus S
Samsung Bluetooth Mono Headset model HM1100
PC is Linux Ubuntu w o/s 10.04LTS
ISSUE # 1
I can use my bluetooth headset to place/receive calls with my Nexus S, however, if I want to listen to MP3s or other applications like a scanner that use sound, I cannot hear a thing? Isn't this suppose to work as well? If so, how do I do it?
ISSUE # 2
I use Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. I can pair my bluetooth headset with Ubuntu but when I want to listen to MP3s, make a sound recording or Skype it's impossible because there is so much STATIC. How would I correct this problem?
ISSUE # 3
The Nexus S is "Paired but not connected to" to my PC (eg Ubuntu). When I attempt to send a file from the PC to my Nexus S the file transfer always fails. What steps can I perform to find out why this is happening? I tried re-discovering and pairing but that did not work.
The Bluetooth app I use in Ubuntu is is found under System-->Preferences and simply called "Bluetooth". The applet that appears in the Ubuntu panel is called "Indicator Applet 0.3.7".
Background info:
I have tried to find the information to sort out these issues via Google but haven't found anything that could help me. In my search, I discovered this forum and figured why not post here and see if you folks could lend me a hand.
Thanks for allowing me to post and I look forward to any assistance you may be in the position to offer me.
Thank You,
Suomalainen
The headset you're using isn't a stereo Bluetooth headset so listening to music won't work i don't know about the skype situation but i assume it could be for the same reason
Try the free "btmono" app before buying the cheap "btmono-premium" app (from Market). It worked for me.

Thanks for that piece of info. I installed and now the show is rolling. Much appreciated! Thanks!!!!
for issue 2 and 3 you just need to have the correct type of apps that handles those sort of data / tranfers / music streaming
as well you need matching compatible software on the ubuntu machine
as for the sound detection, it only works with the phone mic, it wont work well with your bt headset, unless you take the bt headset off your ear and jam the bt headset right in front of the speaker to detect the tune it's playing

Hi all, i'm writing here for ask help for fix a problem with my nexus 4. I have a bluetooth mouse that work fine with my device until yesterday, but after that not anymore.
Turning on the bluetooth i can found the mouse but i can't pair it, the mouse work fine because i test it another device and i can pair in the nexus other bluetooth accessories.
Someone know how fix it? Thanks a lot.
I could not find a solution to this problem after searching, if there is one please direct me to it. Thanks.
I have a stock Samsung Galaxy S4 with Android version 4.4.4 install on AT&T network. When using my plantronics bluetooth headset with Ok Google detection set to activate from any screen I lose all phone audio over the headset after the first call (ie. the first call works fine but after that I cannot hear anything) Music audio works fine. If I deactivate the detection from any screen and re-boot the phone I get the audio back. I tried the same headset on my son's new Galaxy note and it worked with no problem.
I've read several posts with similar problems but so far no solutions. Obviously, there is a conflict, I'm guessing with Ok Google and the headset both using bluetooth but so far I can not find information on resolving it.
Has anyone found a solution, other than not using Ok Google detection from any screen?
Thanks, JH
