When I zoom then take a picture, the colors mess up. I'm on Xylon with faux kernel.

Just RMA'd...will the replacement still have problems at this point?

Received my first official replacement today. It's my third unit with screen lift, although neither of the past two have been as severe as the first.
Don't despair, and good luck.
Uggg I hope it is OK...

Obviously... But in what way ?

Unlock and root before you do anything since that wipes the phone.
Don't be that excited.. It's still just an android phone. You may want to buy it a few drinks first to make sure you even get it before you worry about how fast it comes.
Do a factory reset after turning it on, then set it up.

Buy screen protector spigen dual and get a case. Bumpers are most aesthetically pleasing.

Why
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda app-developers app
Keep calm and Fastboot oem unlock
Put it in a case
Screen protector (make sure you actually take off the initial protectors before you put a screen protector)
WiFi to set up your Google account
Latex gloves if you don't want to put finger prints on it.
Pepper your angus
First thing to do is unlock bootloader, get a custom recovery and start flashing!

Hug it, kiss it. Spin around with it in slow motion gazing slowly into its screen. Then use it. Use it like life depends on it.

Anyone successfully replace their screen? I'm tired of buying screen protectors and would like to replace the screen once I feel the screen is unbearable.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
Yes it is fairly easy, never done anything with taking apart phones before and replaced the screen in about 45 minutes

Stock+locked bootloader. This should be the most stable

You're selling your nexus 4? I am officially banning you from these forums and I hope your new phone crashes and burns you damn traitor...

My nexus 4 was bought about 3 months ago. Which I've always had some call dropped and loss of signal and WiFi random dropped.
No matter what kernel or ROM I use. Spend a couple of months testing
Now about 1week ago I dropped my phone and a bit of the chrome bezel has came off apart from that it's in perfect condition.
Could I still RMA the device? UK
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Would this get RMA rejected? It over heats and when it does it losses signal.
