Chinese Extended battery life

How many hours are u getting from a Chinese extended battery

I can get about 6 hours of constant use,ie streaming Netflix over 3g.If I use the phone like normal,I can easily get a day and a half out of it though.

With the 3500 I'm getting 6-8 hours. Nearly 2 days if I don't use it at all practically. All on mikg 2.55. But I didn't get wall charger so battery is never fully charged.

Wall charger is to put battery in to fully charge it as EVO won't fully charge larger battery

I have run sense and aosp roms, both running 24-48 hours on one battery depending on use of course.

I got an extended battery from amazon for $7 with back and its a 3500mah. Last all day with everything running. No need to drive yourself crazy wondering, just spend $10 and get yourself something it will be well worth it. They have 1800-2000mah stock size batteries now from US distributors just search through eBay or Amazon

THE 1800 TO 2000 ARE CHINESE SCAMS . They're actually 1450/1550.

I got an 1800 last me at least 2-3 hours longer that stock, look around they are not all scams

2000mah Battery

I tried searching, honest, but couldn't find anything to help with this. Any places online to buy the 2000mah battery for the i9100? It's the Canadian Virgin Mobile model specifically. A buddy asked me to help him with this, any help is appreciated.

They're getting rarer and rarer... The Galaxy S2 by Virgin is the same as the international one.
You might wanna buy an Anker battery too, cheaper, same size as the stock battery.

If he has a Virgin Mobile Canada Galaxy S2, chances are he's in Canada and Amazon.com doesn't ship to canada. Amazon.ca doesn't have the battery. Solution: EBAY! YAY!

Yes, it is much better, but I might be a little optimistic since my stock battery was dying and didn't last long.

I would suggest an anker 1900mah battery. I believe there is a package of two batteries and an external charger. It doesn't need a bigger back and it basically triples the battery life

As kilometers4 specified, anker is a nice alternative as it doesn't increase your phone's size... But the 2000mah battery does last longer than the anker. That 1900mah rating isn't fully accurate, I think. But it does give me a day and then some battery life on CM10 (Anker). I get home after a day's work + angry birds + calls + surfing, 8 AM to 11 PM or so and I always have between 15 and 20% left.
When I tried the 2000 mah battery, it was more along the lines of 30-35.

It's a aftermarket battery for S2 which claims to have more mAH and is cheaper alternative compared to samsung one.
I personally haven't tested it since I'm happier with stock one.

expansys.ca is still selling them, and it's where I got mine. Their site is a pain to locate things on, so search for these manufacturer part numbers to find them:
EB-K1A2EBEG for black
EB-K1A2EWE for white
Strangely, the white case/battery pack is cheaper than black. You can try searching around with those part numbers, and you might find a better deal elsewhere.

Not all chinese products are bad

1. Buy a good quality battery ,preferably a Samsung one.
2. Use One Power Guard ONLY IF YOU REALLY NEED LOT OF BATTERY - SEE THIS WHY!.

my battery's fine.
also i don't use 3rd party battery management software since they take a lot of ram and do crap to the phone, i manage my own battery by knowing what applications to install and not installing things that run on the background process.

What you say is true , no doubt . But we need to be careful while buying one. There are many fakes out there in the market .
So i just feel is it worth the risk to damage our phones for a little more money?

Should I go for the 4500 mah mugen battery pack?

First I have a question, are battery cases giant charger packs or separate batteries that the device switches to. Reason is that wouldn't constant charging and discharging ruin the battery?
Back to the main question. The mugen battery looks really thick and unwieldy and expensive at $99. I would like to wait for the zero lemon 3100 may case, but it seems like it's not gonna come

I would wait for the zero lemon. $100 for the mugen is a rip off.

i would just go with portal battery pack and charge it when needed. I wouldn't want any more thickness to my phone, bumper is just enough

Do not spend more than $20. I have a beautiful Samsung 5400mah charger for $20. I see 10000 mah crop up for $20. A wise man once said most anything is worth paying $20. I got these deals from apps woot and best deals.

Oops I'll leave this but I was just reading another thread about external batteries overlooked the case part. But just consider slim case and external battery pack is real practical now.

Extra Battery???

I always buy extra batteries for my phone. Note 3 being no different. I've searched and searched and can't find one being sold yet. That's ridiculous. How hard it is to sell some extra batteries for goodness sake.
I purchased an extra battery kit from Clove online which stated they had them in stock. Turns out they don't actually so don't be fooled. Sometime late October to November I guess. This package will have exactly what I get for all my phones an extra battery (I'm a hardcore user and so I always get two spares) and an external battery charger. Will be awesome when I finally get it.
Anyone else have this same trouble? Has anyone gotten it yet?

Coming from an s3, I'm just excited that I can get through am entire day without having to swap out batteries. Let us know how those hyperion batteries work and if they support NFC.

I just purchased 2 Hyperion batteries and will let u know. They come in a couple days. They stated it does support NFC but I don't use it so prolly won't test it but I wouldn't think they'd completely lie about that.

They seem to be on par so far. I used Battery Monitor Widget to determine that they are 3200mAh batteries n not cheap knock offs with false mAh advertisement. Unless BMW can't be trusted which to my knowledge is trusted. They're good so far. I like the charger too. Seems to be sturdy unlike the charger some batteries come with. Give it a shot bud. Expedited shipping was only a few dollars more n well worth it. I think I paid $40 in general but it's worth it because they seem to be working well so far

I use Hyperion as my spare battery for S3, it lasts as long as stock and NFC works (although I hardly ever use it)

Finally got my Hyperion batteries and charger. I LOVE them. To be honest one of the Hyperion batteries lasts longer than my factory Samsung one lol. The charger is awesome and will hopefully let me charge batteries in the future since it adjusts to each battery. Crap for instructions came with it but YouTube is full of help for them and common sense helps. All around great purchase and got 2 batteries and an external charger for half the price of a Samsung battery (paid $30 on eBay).
Recommend Hyperion batteries to all.
