Recently i come across a galaxy s4 in a retail store and I'm wondering if that's a device specific retail phone?
Usually i see a retail phone with same information in about phone that usual selling devices have.
But this was different.
Settings about information had orange color?

1505x is the demo models in retail shops and do not have sim card trays.

From what I gather from the forums, they have sim trays and sd slots but the firmware doesnt include the necessary bits to access a SIM. Also they reset to factory on every reboot.

Ah i see, thought it was some sort of secret version of s4 lol

It is interesting that Samsung chose to use the international Note for their ad in today's WSJ page A14.

My only guess would be the need for a lack of carrier branding, not that it would be hard to photoshop.
Probably because they were advertising the Galaxy Note, not AT&T
Hi
I've bought recently a galaxy note from Ebay. The seller is claiming the phone was purchased from phones4u but I have never saw any proof of that.
Phone was on gingerbread when I receive it and I updated it to ics.
The only thing what concerns me its a firmware version. It's with the ending CPW so from carphone warehouse.
So it's possible that phone was purchased on phones4u and is there any way to check correct csc using serial number?
Thanks in advance

You can change CSC but it takes a factory reset.

Several leaks have shown off its features ahead of time, but within the next few weeks users won’t have to rely on leaks and rumors, as Samsung will start pushing Android 5.0 Lollipop to carrier versions of the Galaxy S5 in the United States in early January, then proceed with the Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note Edge, and eventually proceed to update the popular Galaxy S4 and Note 3 from 2013.

Greetings folks, i was wondering if you could help me out finding the manufacturer country of this samsung galaxy s5, i am currently live in syria and we have no samsung representative in our country due to the war, so most of the devices are getting smuggled.
Is there anyway to find where could this device has been made from and does the build quality is different between the chinese and vietnamese one?

I also forgot to mention that there was another sticker on the other side showing which country that this device support and i do remember Switzerland and some other European.
Any help?
Made by YATALEY UK, what does that means?
Look up phone info on the play store, that one tells you what country of origin and even the manufacturing date.
