Hi everyone,
I want to buy the i9505 unlocked model, but the sellers from amazon got bad feedback like "bought a S4, came a S4 box, S4 manual, S3 inside, total scam!", my friend will be just a few days in the US so I wont be able to send it back if it is the wrong model, is there any online store I can trust that will not scam or send an i9500 by mistake?
Thanks in advance

Hi All,
I'm kinda desperate hence this thread.
Does anyone know where I can get an internationally unlocked i9505 from within the USA (online order will also do as long as the website is genuine)? Need this information quickly as I have a friend coming from the US to India in a week and is not able to find one of these in the stores?
Any help is very much appreciated!

Not sure if it's international, but it's sim free?
Though mine shipped from HK, but they say they have warehouses in the US
hello guys.I'm going to buy the galaxy s4 i9500 from eBay>>(here)http://www.ebay.it/itm/Samsung-Gala...0921143337?pt=Cell_Phones&hash=item2ec7d55829
so i want from you guys some feedback about the seller,phone,shipping.... if you have bought your galaxy s4 from here.It will be very helpfull for me.Thanx in advance
Phone is great, but it might be a little hard for you to find people who bought from that specific seller HERE.
1.What I suggest: go to the seller's sales list and look for people who bought samsung galaxy s4. Send messages and ask them if it's perfectly fine. If you want to make sure send out 15-20 messages (could do it in 15 mins, copy paste a message).
2. Seller seems pretty trustworthy with a high rating, and price isn't too low to be real.
3. I don't know the language so I couldn't check but look for the bad feedbacks and check why people gave them (if someone said the machine they got is bad, dont buy it from him. but if someone says the phone was 3-4 days late it might not be bad for you)

I have purchased an i9505 from that exact seller a few weeks ago. The phone shipped quickly and was at my door in several days (US based seller, ships out of US) and in seemingly unopened retail packaging. Your mileage may vary, as you are an international buyer. You may be responsible for duty and taxes.
Received:
GT-I9505
Baseband Version: I9505ZHUAME3
Build Number: JDQ39
This is a Hong Kong market phone and it will be set to Chinese Language by default. When I turned on the phone I was able to guess my way into changing the language by changing to the second option on the two option prompt. Phone is currently rooted, no problems.
The phone you linked is GT-I9505 (Snapdragon), not GT-I9500 (Exynos). Most likely if you order I9500 from this seller, you will receive a Hong Kong market I9500. This is a trustworthy seller, just note that you're getting a Hong Kong market phone. If you order the I9505 instead of I9500, I have noticed (as have others on XDA) that the performance of the I9505 camera is subpar compared with the I9500.

I live in Portugal, but bought a Galaxy S4 (GT-i9500) in qatar. The screen is wanting to come off a bit. I have the invoice to purchase the Galaxy. So I wonder if the samsung warranty is international.
You'd need to find the same store you bought it from, that's how it usually works, but even then, i think it only applies to the country you purchased it from.
Hello everyone,
I recently bought S5 model 900F on Amazon (US) (3rd party seller), which unfortunately turned out to be a cloned phone! A side note, within the first hour of use, the phone just died on me with 40% battery and would not turn back on. Luckily with that experience, I am getting a full refund based on "defective" unit and not have to go through the whole ordeal why it's a "cloned" phone.
This gave me quite a scare about buying another S5 on amazon and am asking you guys if you know of places or insight where I can buy the 900F (the international version) as they claim it to be with the capability of 4G and not the 900H. I'm looking specifically for this model because I have relocated to Europe and am visiting the US for vacation (2 weeks).
Now, I just saw that Google may be releasing the Google Play edition for the S5 but that is still TBA.....so that phone would be much preferable but I have a feeling the sales will begin after I leave.
Anyways guys, thanks in advance!
Hi All,
My Samsung S4 died recently and it does not turn on anymore. I took it to a Samsung workshop and they told me the motherboard got fried and it needs to be replaced. However, they would charge me about $300 for the repair, which of course I find it to be a total robbery. I have decided to take a step forward and repair it myself, which I found to be quite easy (I have already removed the motherboard myself). I have searched for replacement motherboards on eBay and found some in China for about $50. My questions are:
1. Is the motherboard replacement a simple "plug & play" matter or does it need to be programmed?
2. Where is the most recommended place to buy a motherboard for that model?
3. Any other watchouts/recommendations you have for me before I go ahead and buy the replacement?
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Yes, the motherboard is a "plug and play" replacement. The only thing you may need to do is update it to the latest ROM.
Make sure you do not get an s4 made for mainland china, verizon, AT&T, South Korea, and Sprint.
