Can someone provide me with the e-mail apk and any of the other files that I need in order to add a corporate e-mail and calendar to my device. I ran the debloat from the dev thread, but then realized that I need those files for work

You can pull the apks and odex files from the rom used to restore the phone.

I know this is probably in the wrong forum, but I didn't see any Motorola Triumph forums and i need a little help. My girlfriend deleted the messaging apk from titanium so she can use handcent instead and now we have no way of getting it back since we didn't make a backup of it before deleting it. Can someone provide the original messaging apk or a link to it please? Help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Search for the apk on google or 4shared
The Triumph General forum can be found here: forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1232
It was buried in the legacy devices section

Is there an easy way to restore things like settings, ringtones, contacts (ringtones and pics) wallpapers, etc... after installing a new rom. I would love to try new roms but just hate redoing stuff like that.
Nandroid
MyBackUp Pro
Carbon/Helium
Just search for android backup apps--may be more

If your going from touchwiz to touchwiz or aosp to aosp you can restore data from your ROM backup in recovery and everything will be restored

I didn't realize how easy it is I thought it was a more manual process. I'm getting happier with my choice to dump the iPhone each day. thank you for the response.

Sorry about that, wont happen again.
I have searched the forums and cant seem to find a faster link to the MDL Odin software for the AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 . I found one link but its taking an estimated 5 hours to complete . Does anyone have the actual MDL Odin zip for the S4 they can send that might be faster . Thanks in advanced for any help . Or would checking for a software update from MDB update me to MDL ?
what link are trying to use?

Currently downloading from Sammobile
There should be a link or two in the Odin Firmware thread created by Adam Outler, located in the Development or original development sections.

Unless Adam Outler's file names are incorrect they all say MDB

scroll down to the bottom where you enter the required code (in order to ensure you're not a robot) and start the download. not sure if it will download faster but its worth a shot. cheers
The problem is that its a huge file...and most download servers seem to cap download speeds pretty low now a days :/ even if you have fast internet. I miss the days when an odin file/stock rom was only 200-300mbs...I used to have TONS of roms sitting on my phone

For future reference, you might want to actually start reading threads in their entirety and not just skimming over the OP. Especially when you are looking for help with issues. Often, people will post the information you need within the thread and not just in the OP.
Using the "search" function within individual threads works well also.

I spend a better part of the day doing various searches utilizing "Odin" and "MDL" as well as other keyword searches on XDA as well as outside this site . I appreciate the "Advice" but I generally don't ask for help unless I can't find it on my own .

That's all good, but I told you "exactly" which thread to look in to find the file you needed. Basically, you responded back to me that the file was not there or was named wrong (though not in those exact words). In fact, the links to the file were there and were named and identified correctly. It's your choice to only take the time to look in the OP of a thread when help is offered, but others might want that file as well, and saying it isn't there when it was needed to be corrected. That is one reason I responded back to you.
I don't ask for help often either. I use the search function and look through threads for answers all of the time as well. However, when I do ask for help and someone responds, I always make sure to take extra time to research the help and advice they give me before responding that they are wrong. That was another reason for the response to your response.
Anyway, hopefully you got what you needed.

Where can I get the original files for the phone? Is there a download from Samsung. I see the leaked files on this board but wondering if there is official files.
Specifically I would like to go back to the original baseband from MH1 but I don't see the baseband files.
Thanks

No where, they have not published the factory images for our device and I don't think they will ever..

There are modem files if you do a search and you need to post these questions in Q&A this does not belong here. Plus there are some images floating around. SEARCH

Yeah, it's too bad we can't have a reference ROM from the manufacturer to validate these other, floating ROMs against. It's always good to implicitly trust no trojan code has been injected into any of those leaked or custom images. Why would anyone have motivation to do that?
Plz someone mod stock messages. Apk because gennext kitkate rom message app does not support second sim message sending
wrong place post! report to @MikeChannon
what..??
Maybe some confusion here. I'm assuming this is not about the XDA App messaging but is about the built in messaging apk. The sort of thing talked about here:

Mike
This may actually be the stock mms app... Either way Mike left a redirect to the XDA app and I have moved this to the more appropriate Q and A section... :good:
