By unlocked, you mean SIM Unlock ?

easiest way is simply use a another operators sim card..if it works it is unlocked ,, if it asks for a network code then ur phone is locked
rooted -> galaxy sim unlock from google play

Yes,now go to network operators amnd select auto/manual and ATT should pop up along with others

Just close your eyes!
On a serious note. unlocking is a pain in the neck, unless its for international. But you might have an especially difficult time if you have trouble just finding the imei. BTW you can do that dialing *#06# or
\Settings > Something > About Phone
or take out the battery.

Nope. Not yet atleast. You were able to when you were able to downgrade firmware but now you cant.

If it's not on the at&t network it will not be able to connect to there servers and show the update you can either flash with lg flash tool or root and flash, check out the at&t thread there are a few ways for you get kk with and without root

No. Just a factory Sim unlocked phone. It gas no carrier branding. International version

SIM unlocked is different than bootloader unlocked.

Your bootloader is locked. No kernels. Safestrap and TouchWiz based ROMs only.
Is there a way to unlock bootloader? Like on sprint, t-mobile phones?

Not at this time.
i have rooted my I337 for network unlock now i want to upgrade it to latest kitkat OTA shows no update available so is there anyway i can update or if i update it phone will not be rooted anymore and network unlcok will also be gone ?

It tells how you can update your firmware. Since you're rooted the ota probably won't work
