if time permits i will try giving sense as well
it will take time.

i have tried to keep it as stock as possible
similar to AOSP roms => hope u like it

Yes only one person know the answer is you.yes you.try as many rom as you can.play with it for 3 out more days.use all measure govern here to conserve battery.and then decide.don't ask anyone here about best rom.u will get thousands of answer.so try it yourself.mostly gingerbread tron had very good battery
life

My battery can make it to 3 days if not using it too much with typhoons cyanogen

Im using an old Cotulla Nand with Tasker and have no problems. I can run HSPA or 3g all day with no problems. GPS is off.

It's not really a tough question. Which rom is the least bug free and has the best battery life. It's just facts, it's not based on opinion. Some roms are optimized for battery while others are for speed. Some are for testing stuff, others are made to be really stable. I checked out the roms that were posted and went along with hyperdroid cm7 ;D

[KERNEL][SOURCE???] Kernel 3.0.16 for Desire HD

Hey guys.
I just got an email from a friend who sent me a screenshot from htcdev.com website where apparently he saw that kernel 3.0 was released for DHD. I visited the website immediately upon receiving the photo but could not find it anywhere, anyhow..
If someone knows more about this please post. I'm not even sure I should be posting this here, and if not I'll close the thread.

Like I said, I couldn't find this anywhere. I was not the one taking this screen.

I tried searching but apparently can't find it. It seems it was a mistake made by the admin of the website?

He did and he said download was interrupted at 37Mb.

I am not going to close this, mere move it to General.
Like shad0wboss mentioned, the likely posted it by mistake and have since pulled it.

If I filter by device and choose the Desire HD, I get the source code for 4.0 too.
Managed to download it, just put it on my site. Grab it while you can.

In all seriousness. Never click a link I provide. 90% of the time it will be a Rick-Roll. Fact.
That does not apply to the CM7 builds I occasionally do.

But why we can not use the kernel 3.0 from One V? Because it has practically identical hardware.

There's a lot of sensation dls of the kernel. Can't these be ported somehow?

Nope. But folks are all over the One V kernel anyway. Just a matter of time now before it's ported. You can check out Nexxx over at Desire S forums. He's building a custom kernel 3 for msm7x30. He's done great load of work and still has a lot to do. You can follow the progress on his git.

Check out the stock samsung keyboard, press "sym" and then press "1/2" button to get various signs like hearts, circles and stars.

i KNOW, it is awesome... when i first saw that i was like...oooh, oooh...lol Also, it seems you can type A LOT and it becomes a "scolling marquee"... too cool... : )

Amazed at what people can miss. Not to be a peni$ here, but this feature has been there since HoneyComb on my other tablets.
This is my first Android phone, so I cannot say if phones had it prior to ICS. I don't even know if other ICS phones support that, but this being a tablet and I can attest that this feature is not new and has been there since HC on old tablets.
What would be a neat feature is:
1. Add an icon to swipe. Just like on iPhones. I learnt how to modify those swipers that I made my own: with my girlfriend's pic, my pic, my motorcycle, my car, my ***, etc, etc.
2. Gesture unlock just like in Win8. Doodle on a picture to unlock the device. This looks like fun.

Didn't really post my "find" to brag on it or to try and determine, "how long its been around"....
Just wanted to share it with those who might not know about it, it makes the Note EVEN more enjoyable when u turn it on and see ur own lil personalization smilin' back @ ya!

I've had this for ages on my Jellybeaned DHD. Best bit is it is backed up and restored with Google backup.
I have my email address and a plea to return if found. As futile as it might be.

Hate to break it to you guys but if you took more care about what information you shared on the internet (such as names, emails, addresses etc - basic security stuff) you wouldn't have anything to fear from HTC's legal department. They can't file a successful lawsuit against an anonymous person now can they?

How can the OP pull the ROM? He didn't post it, a russian blog did. All the OP did was link to where he found it, I'm sure no disrespect was intended.

That's a real shame. If you want to name the people who ported it, then I'm more than happy to include them in the first post.
