hey guys, i just bought a I9505 g4 today and flashed wanamlite GT-I9505_WanamLite.XXUAME2.V1.0.NO-WIPE rom.
my phone was original a nz branded xt telecom phone.
I have tried everything to get the stock "internet" browser onto my phone instead of the one that came with the stock rom (yahoo telecom)
things ive tried:
wipedata/factory reset.
format cache
format data
format system
format Sd card
and with every fresh install of wanams rom it remains!!! See screenshot
how the hell do i get this back to the standard browser with the "world" on it. PLEASE help i hate telecom LOL but the phone was $60 cheaper to buy the branded one.

Did you flash the rom or just the kernel? Was the phone rooted and running clockworkmod recovery before you flashed the rom? The stock rom is resistant to rooting and installation of cwm so maybe you didn't install cwm successfully and so you aren't really flashing your rom
What I did was flashed the wanamlite KERNEL via ODIN to root the phone, only then did cwm install successfully and then I flashed the wanamlite rom.
it's necause you used the no wipe rom...
telecom built it into the base rom.. if you flash an unbranded rom then clear cache and wipe all user data it will disapear.
i found if i didnt clear the cache the logo was the stock browser but it kept directing to tworld..

So i'm having an issue with my Galaxy S4 GT-i9505. It seems that any custom ROM I try to flash it with just gets stuck at Boot. I can always restore to stock so its not that big of a deal but still I'd like to be able to use a custom ROM on it one of these days !
Here's what I did so far:
1) The phone was rooted with CF Autoroot, then flashed TWRP recovery with Odin 3.x
2)Tried to install Omega Rom v9. With Data, Cache, Delpik wipe. Stuck at Samsung logo after reboot
3) Restored back to stock
4) Repeated 2)
5)Tried to install PAC Rom, again Data, Cache wipe, Flashed Gapps before Reboot
6)Stuck at "PAC loading" logo
7)Tried 5) again without flashing Gapps. Still stuck
8)Back to stock
I'm thinking of trying to flash a Pre-Rooted Rom like some of DJeMBeY. Anyway, can someone point me in the right direction ?

Flash philz recovery and then flash any rom u want after flashing rom wipe cache / dalvik and reboot

Hi I hope you can help me with this,
I was on a custom 4.3 rom running on old bootloader. I then
updated to 4.4.2 rom but my camera is not working only a black screen and giving
me a warning message " Camera failed" and once that happens
the whole system lags. I've read around that it could be a hardware
problem but when I switched back to the 4.3 rom the camera is working
smoothly again. I have tried 3 different 4.4.2 custom roms but same issue persists.
My question is could this have anything to do with my bootloader? I am planning
on flashing a stock 4.4.2 firmware with the new bootloader to see if that helps but what
worries me is if this doesn't help then I have no way anymore to go back to
a 4.3 firmware where my camera still works. Can you help me point to a solution
to this problem? Or which stock firmware I should flash to test if my camera
will work on that firmware.

Yes full wiped in Aroma, Formatted Int/ext card from Philz recovery, restored factory
from rom didn't help either.
What custom rom did you flash? Do you use the correct modem for the old bootloader?

I have tried Phoenix ROM, GoldenEYE , ECHO ROM, I am not sure if
I am using the right modem though I just flashed the file suggested on this page.
I'm on the Phoenix rom and it's running stable for me. I am also running on the old bootloader.
I had troubles at first after upgrading to 4.4.2, but after I wiped /system in recovery, everything worked.
You could try it. Make sure to backup /efs to your external sd or pc. Backup your entire internal sdcard, because it will be wiped. I didn't know that, so I lost everything on my sd
Perform a full wipe. Then wipe /system from the recovery (i used clockwork recovery). After that just flash and don't install any tweaks in aroma.

My Sprint Note 3phone is currently using a Kitkat ROM and TWR recovery. I tried some Lollipop ROMS. After flash the ROM, the phone boot to the page of Android setting, then the UI crashed and the phone reboot, showing Modem error.
Anyone has similar experience or have any idea why this happen? Thanks a lot.
First try wiping all data , cache, dalvik cache and others.
Then install fresh lollipop stock rom from sammobile.com of your phone model and then try to flash it via ODIN rather than through TWRP.
There are many guides on flashing lollipop roms, just read them you'll get it.?✌

I'm getting bootloop when I try to flash Stock Rom, I tried 2 roms for my country from samfirmware, tried robot rom from here (im n910c), tried miui v8 beta version also, cant flash 4file repair firmware since there are only available for 4.4 / 5.0, and I'm at 6.0.1
also repartition didnt help
all of these roms get me bootlooped, I can only flash CM rom and its fully functional
what to do?
After flashing your official stock rom via odin, go to Recovery and wipe cache and data/factory reset.

Hi all,
I got SM-G350 branded by Play in Poland (PRT CSC). I've decided to debrand it and flashed stock 4.2.2 XEO rom. After that phone keeps restarting with no reason - sometimes it restarts directly into the recovery mode.
I've tried to flash PRT rom once again - didnt help. I'm also unable to do data/factory reset trough recovery - all settings and apps are still there. In recovery I see error message (attachment).
Is there any way to fix this?
I would like to use this phone for some special purposes (plugged in a car all the time with sim card for voice commands of anti radar software - Yanosik)
Well, first thing I will do in that situation would be installing twrp recovery, wiping cache, system, data etc. and formatting data then flashing again stock firmware. BTW is yanosik working on stock android 4.2.2? If yes then you should try flashing custom rom. Performance of this phone on stock rom is so bad...
