Which would you have, if everything is compatible with your carrier(both compatible to LTE to your carrier. Quad-core exynos or Dual-Core krait
General discussion is to be directed here thank you.
I also believe we have had one of these already.
Note 3 N9000 and N9005 are different equipments, so why they are not separated like others devices (S3, S4 and Note 2)?
This will avoid questions like: "Is this for N9000 variants or N9005?"
It's just my opinion...

The handset is same, the only difference is one is 3G while the other supports 4G and processor. All the other things including OS and other hardware is same, so there is not point in making it a different device? Besides you can't launch Note 3 and Note 4 on the same day

Exactly...
Other devices like the ones i mentioned have different threats so this one needs also...
Thread here basically is for N9005.
I do agree shall separate the N900/N9000 vs N9005.
N900/9000 - Exynos 5420, Mali T628, HSPA.
N9005 - Snapdragon 800, Adreno 330, LTE.
I don't want to start another thread just to ask this question, but more roms and kernels will be available on n9005 version, right? I have the option to go with either n900 and n9005. I know one has LTE and the other doesn't. All I'm worrying about is which version would have the most dev support?
Completely agree that they are different phones with different firmwares/software and better be separated...please.

I don't know now that the 900 seems to not have the knox issue.
But the source for the 9005 will be more open.

Bootloader locks? KNOX? Region locks?
Where to find the answers please.

Snapdragon 805
It's the Snapdragon.
An unannounced Asus ZenFone variant has been certified by China's Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center (TENAA).
So maybe 5.0.2 ready for zenfone 2.
Have a look-
http://www.gsmarena.com/unannounced_asus_zenfone_variant_receives_tenna_certification-news-13565.php
its a 1.5ghz octa core cpu.. which means its ARM based, and is thus unlikely to affect our device firmware development which is intel based
SoC maybe MT6753 which support Cat 4 FDD and TD-LTE and have Octa-core at 1.5ghz.
Another octa-core 1.5ghz is MT6752M doesn't support Cat 4 FDD and TD-LTE.
Maybe even Exynos 7580
I'm in the US. How does one pick the "best" version of the SM-G935F from the tons of eBay sellers?
For example, this version lists the CPU as "Quad-core 2.3 GHz Cortex-A53 + quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A53", while this other version lists it as "Dual-core 2.15 GHz Kryo & dual-core 1.6 GHz Kryo".
Both spec sheets appear copied from GSMArea some time ago (one of them still lists the phone as "Coming soon"). Many other listings list both Exynos and SnapDragon for the chipset.
When eBay sellers don't give much **** on what exactly phones they sell, and don't bother responding to questions, how do you ensure you get the phone you want, and which version of the phone is that?
If it's Global version, it should be Exynos.
935F is the global version with exynos processor.

My question was about the dual-core vs. quad-core.
Just look at the model number. SM-G935F is Exynos Octa-Core. I wouldn't buy or trust a seller that lists the processor differently.
Here's a table:
Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge SM-G935

Canada BELL MOBILITY SM-G935W8 Exynos 8890

That's what I'm puzzled by: a bunch of eBay sellers have copy/pasted some spec sheet that looks like this:
Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge SM-G935F (FACTORY UNLOCKED) 5.5" QHD, 32GB
PLATFORM OS Android OS, v6.0 (Marshmallow)
Chipset Exynos 8890 Octa
CPU Dual-core 2.15 GHz Kryo & dual-core 1.6 GHz Kryo
GPU Adreno 530
One of those sellers is never-msrp, which I've seen recommended here on the forum.

Yeah that's wrong, it should be:
CPU Quad-core 2.3 GHz Mongoose + quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A53
GPU Mali-T880 MP12
Don't pay attention to those spec sheets, just make sure it's G935F.

Maybe a fake too be careful.... All the F models are 64 bit Octacore
Shouldn't matter which one you buy you can flash any region firmware on it
