Where should i get the nexus 7 from?

Hello my dad is buying me a nexus 7 and i heard there is this screen lifting issue i'm wondering should i get it from the google play store or from a retail store presumably office max thanks guys!

Thanks i'll try the retail stores then and yes i'll hit that thanks button because it only takes a second!

I got one from Walmart. I have minor screenlift but it isn't noticeable and has not increased in the past week that I've had it.

I ordered 2, sold the extra on ebay for $450 So I have one, and some dude in Canada will have one! Received on Monday. Really need a case for this thing, it's like hold a glass phone.

I got mine today, not impressed, lots of little bugs, put it up on CL within 2 hours of having it.

Question for those who bought an n7 at or near launch

How long did it take until they were readily available again? I couldn't get an order in for a nexus 4, which seems to be in the same type of situation, with orders delayed for a few weeks.

I'm asking how long it took to restock the n7 so that I can apply that to the n4. How is that not relevant?

The Nexus was made by Asus. Then N4 is made by LG. Different companies, different factories,
and you can't extrapolate anything from the Asus experience. Google does not make these...
Might as well ask us how long before Sony gets the television in that you want.

Is $250 a good asking price to sell my n4

Bought it in January still have original box and accessories couple small scratches on back glass with official bumper.

Something is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. Throw it out there and see if you get a bite. If not drop it by $15 and throw it out there again. Personally, I would not buy it because of some other devices getting ready to be released. But it does not hurt to ask.

Sounds reasonable to me. Check swappa and look at the recently sold. Only problem is is there are a lot of them listed so if you want to unload it quickly, you'll likely have to drop the price.

250 seems to be the going price on Ebay for a used in good condition.

No phone because of UPS :/

So I purchased last week on Wednesday a nexus 4 and assuming that because i paid for two day shipping to get it by Friday or Tuesday at the latest (Tuesday because of labor day)
But it is now Wednesday of the following week and still no Nexus 4 and I cannot use to tracking number as all UPS says on the status of the shipment is "Ready for UPS" I'm at a loss of what to do because I finalized my cancellation with previous carrier Monday and got service with T-Mobile :/ but no phone....sadface
Any suggestions as to why UPS is being like this?

2-day shipping only means once it is shipped it will take 2 days. It does not account for processing time which can be several days. If you have a shipping number then you should get it in the next day or two. The UPS shipping status does not update until later at night in many cases.

They sent me an email stating it shipped the Thursday after I ordered it and that still doesn't help the fact that I cannot track the package a week after its been shipped :c

It just means they created the shipping label. The shipping status will update once they ship it (at least later that night).
