I normally have absolutely no problems with the Nexus 10, but recently I've noticed if you have a weak wi-fi connection it cause the whole tablet to lag even if it's not inan app using the internet. Is this just an issue with syncing?

Has anyone tried connecting the nexus 4 as a wifi hotspot? My phone can load webpages like google, facebook, XDA really fast. But when I have my laptop connected through portable hotspot I can't even get google.com to open up. Sometimes it does but very very slowly, is this normal for wifi hotspots or is it just something with my connection settings?
My Wi-Fi Hotspot from Nexus 4 works perfectly when I connect my Nexus 7, Playbook, and Galaxy Nexus.
WiFi hot spot worked for me also

Hmm i tried it with my playbook too, it works but same issue its much slower then what the phone can accomplish!
It's normal for it to be slower (just consider that all requests need to be routed from your laptop, to your phone via WiFi, then to the cell service) but it certainly should be working without issue. Are you using the built-in WiFi hotspot feature? And what carrier?
Ever since 4.3 rolled out the background scanning on WiFi to help with location updates, I've been having problems maintaining a connection with the Bluetooth in my car. Normally Wi-Fi is turned off while driving but the new scanning feature happens regardless of the Wi-Fi state.
After much experimentation, I've found that turning off that feature seems to allow the connection to be stable.
This occurs only on certain BT devices... Another media receiver I have is always rock solid regardless of the Wi-Fi scan setting.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?
I'm wondering if there's a bug that can be fixed on the android side. The Bluetooth devices that is having problems with 4.3 is circa 2007.

I'm having the same issues. I'm going to try this later and see if it works.

Update: it didn't work for me.
I have a strange situation where social media apps (Facebook, Instagram) and cloud apps (Google Drive, Dropbox) are incredibly slow to load, update, and react over my WiFi network at home. If I turn WiFi off and stick to 4G, then they load just fine. I don't experience the same issue on other WiFi networks outside of my home, and web pages/other apps load with no issues or delays.
None of my other wireless devices have this issue (multiple laptops, iPads, wife's HTC phone), so it seems like an issue between my Note 3 and my WiFi network. I saw this post with a similar issue (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2609732) but I don't think it's the same problem. Is there a setting or change I can make to my Note 3 that may remedy this problem?
Thanks
Hey I have a general question, is it only me that has experienced the wifi being extremely slow with bluetooth enabled? Not only that but for some reason the wifi is crazy slow if I am away from my router. It did speed up after forgetting the network but I was wondering if this is a firmware issue, I'm on 4.4.2 anyone know any fixes?
Hi fellas,
I got a p10+ 2 had no issue so far. However since b366 I have issues with usage on WiFi. Google search works ok, some apps works sometimes, majority of apps only works on 4G.
Internet connection is stable, all other devices got no issues whatsoever in our household.
Also noticed when I switch off WiFi mobile data get switched off automatically.
Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Solved. New telstra smart modem seems to fixed the issue.
