Hello,
Last week I downloaded Facebook Home for my device. It allowed me to use it, though told me that it's unofficially supported at the moment. The other day I factory reset my phone. Now when I go into the Play Store I cannot find Facebook Home, but when I go to My Apps it says 'Your Device is not compatible'...
I'm at a loss, as it allowed me to install it the other day?

You can simply just download Facebook home somewhere in the net and not through playstore..

Ok every once in awhile I try to access a website...it starts to go there then it immediately goes to the home screen ...
Why would this do this.
Like today organicdeals.com just happen to be the one. I tried in all browsers. Mirin, dolphin, explorer...
Why before the page completely loads would it do this?
I tried a different phone no problem. These are regular websites...nothing bad

well after a conference call with motorola and att. Did hard reset, neither knew what was the problem, so I have to go exchange it. Last day to do so.
UGH to set it up again......
Google saves your apps now and contacts so there shouldn't be too much to setup at least :/

Hey guys I'm a little new here. I recently rooted my Tab last week and ever since then I can no longer download free or purchase apps from the android marketplace. I can update apps without issues. The error that pops up says "Error processing purchase".
Any ideas? I'm clueless. I backed up immediately after I rooted too and did nothing out of the normal after.

Are you using wifi only version or 3G version?
Here a suggestion Try going to settings then applications then select all and then msrket then clear data. Now launch market again

I have the same problem. Cannot buy apps since I rooted. I have a rooted SGS2 that is able to buy stuff so what I do is either buy it in the phone or using the webpage on the tablet sending it to the phone. Then I can install it from the tablet. I just cant buy from the tablet.
I've tried that. I wonder if reloading the market tablet app will fix the issue. Anywhere I can find that? I've looked on here for about an hour and nothing came up. It doesn't make sense to me lol.

Used to have the same problem. Downloaded another version of the market apk and it works now. Sorry, I can't remember which one I'm using and I'm not near the tab now. Just google it.
Had the same problem. Had to delete my google account off the tab, delete market data, wipe cache/dalvik in cwm then reboot. Reenter google account.
Hi,
My Nexus 7 was stolen or lost yesterday. I have no security app installed but I have the lock screen activated.
Can I locate it?
What should I do?
Kind regards
/x
Be more careful with your things?
=P
Sorry mate, without anything already installed I think you're out of luck

Search the forum. Looks like there is a way if it, by the force of nature, connect by itself to an open wifi. You can let a app already queueu to download. I guess there is some security app that dont need your intervention on tablet. I guess.
Good look.

Download plan b from the play store.

I have looked into Plan B and pushing it to install. But it can only install if the device connects via WiFi, and I don't see how it can connect to any WiFi unless it comes back to my house....
Not sure if this is the right place to put this, but figured it'd be nice to post
Looks like the play store is offering specials.
First one up: Hotel Tonight ---> $35 towards your purchase.
Pretty sweet.

How did you come accross this?

Front page of Play store!
(I hope yhey get better than this, lol)
US only as usual? I don't see anything
Yes this is US country specific so you wont get to see it if you are from any other country
Just change your dns to use the US playstore (webpage).

how do we do that ??
Download "Set Dns" from the playstore and set Dns1 as 208.122.23.22 and Dns2 as 208.122.23.23 (don't ask why I just say it on some forum). Then clear data and cache from the playstore, restart the tablet, check if the dns are still applied and go to the web page playstore, now you should see the US webpage versiĆ³n of the playstore. **Needs Root**
Another way is to get the Market Unlocked pro app which has a section for getting a US proxy and applying it to the Google Playstore app, then clear cache, data, might need to restart and you should have the US Google Playstore App. Kinda slow though. **Needs Root**

nope does not work
Use the first one and works good for me. Web page only at least. Did you restart?

Just an fyi, once you redeem the hotel promo code, you only have 24 hours to use it before it expires. Lame.
ok so you mean I need to open google pay in browser and not app right ??
Yes

that is because that developer doesn't support your country
you will get used to it as this happens with a lot of google play apps
and i fell for you cause the same happens to me since i am from iraq
so another way of getting it would be from a site on the internet just make sure it's a free app so that it doesn't count here as warez
Thanks for your reply but the application is for local bank it must be download

In my old phone (S II) I used Market Enabler to overcome this problem. I'm not sure if it still works or not because I stopped using it long time ago, and it's not in the store (at least my country) any more!
Anyway, the app basiclly changes your SIM code to fake the country you are in, and thus enables you to access different stores in different regions (US, UK, China, etc).
Give it a try and see if it will work. The following link gives you a guide through the process: http://androidweeds.com/market-enabler/
Note that your phone has to be rooted for this to work!
All the best
