Hi All,
I just realized that there is no official thread on XDA where users can share ZW home screens, themes and ideas, so I'm creating one. If you do not know it yet, well, Zooper Widget is a minimal, classy, extremely customizable and battery friendly "do it yourself" Home Screen Widget with almost limitless possibilities.

APK SUPPORT: http://goo.gl/mo0Gi
G+GALLERY: http://goo.gl/239Bs
Main features
WYSISYG Widget editor with unlimited Text, Series, Progress Bars, Iconsets, Bitmaps and Shapes. Every aspect is customizable, you can use tons of variables with any kind of data or modify them using conditionals, date calculations, math expressions, bb code like syntax, text filters and more (more info, examples and variable reference on the website).
Free/Pro
Free version on the market is full featured, you can create the same layouts as the Pro, the only difference is that Free does not allow you to save and load external templates, it-s ad based, and has no "hotspot" functionality. Developing software and fixing bugs takes a huge amount of time that's why i needed to split it in two releases, hope you'll understand.
How to share screens and templates
When you save your template Zooper Widget (PRO) stores two files in the SD card, under "ZooperWidget" folder, one is a PNG with a screenshot of your awesome creation (so you can easily post it to the forum) the other one is a ".zw" file containing the template itself. The ".zw" is a zip archive with all the data in it, so if you used Bitmaps, external Fonts, Iconsets or any other resource you won't need to distribute them, those items will be part of the ".zw" template and will be extracted automatically. To load the template on another device you just need to place it in the ZooperWidget SD card folder and load it.
APK skins
Zooper Widget PRO from 2.38 supports APK skin packs, you can store as many templates as you want in a single APK distributable on the market, you can even include templates on existing APK if you want (so you can distribute an Icon Pack for ADW with some ZW template in a single shot), more info here http://goo.gl/mo0Gi
Resizing
Zooper Widget supports automatic resize on load if the template is larger than the target widget, otherwise original size will be kept, you can tune the size using the "Scale" option. Please note that, compared to other similar widgets, ZW does not just scale the output Bitmap, but the source Canvas resulting in a much more clean / smooth image.
What's next?
Zooper Widget is always a work in progress, i just released Bitmap support and I'm now working on really exciting features requested by users (and yes, if you have any idea just ask!). Most important upcoming stuff is:
Ability to group or tag layers and move / edit them at once (but remember you can already use the copy/paste functionality to copy one property to multiple items at once)
Widget wide Parameters (to allow better APK support, if you want to lock everything and use custom settings)

zooper widget is awesome, i have been following the official forum. Hope xda members start to show their creativity with this app.
btw you should post some images to show what its possible to do with this widget!
Here's a couple I made today playing with this. I'm a noob to Zooper Widget but it's pretty cool so far.

Credit for iconsets and config file I started with goes to stepdragon in the zooper Thread
What I would really like to do with the status bar is have the WiFi icon appear where the Signal bars are when WiFi is active. For instance if I am at home and have data disabled and wifi enabled, the icons would switch from signal bars to wifi bars. I have no programming skills so if it is possible to make that work in the config file hopefully someone will tweak and share.
The only way I could think of making it work would be having a variable that was checking data connection state and displaying a blank icon if data was disabled.
The WiFi icon disappears when wifi is off and the Alarm icon disappears when alarm is off.

Just playing around with the new update , I did post this in the other thread but I thought I would contribute to this thread now.
Yippee! Awesome to see this thread! Here is my latest home screen done with Zooper. Enjoy!

You can do this, you need to create a custom iconset that checks if WiFi is connected and if connected will show the Wifi bars otherwise i will show the signal ones (same for the Alarm). Please check the config.xml syntax here: http://zooper.org/wp/android/zw/iconsets you can start using the ones you are already using.
WARNING when you use signal info in zooper widget the widgets are updated every time the signal changes, this might use a lot of cpu when screen is on if your signal keeps changing especially if you have a lot of widgets on screen, im working on a solution
P.S. really good home screen! awesome work!
Busy Body Zooper
This has been one of my favorite themes from UCCW thread. Originally created by John Nada, all credit for theme/layout goes to him. I just changed some things and made it available for Zooper Widget.
All widgets are 5x1. I am using this on my Galazy Note II. Not sure how Zooper handles different screen sizes / Grid sizes of different launchers so hope it works for everyone else. Feedly widget is 4x2 stretched to fit in the middle. Use the wallpaper included in the zip to get the frame that appears around the feedly widget.
Each icon on the widgets are shortcuts to an app. You might have to change the app shortcut for whatever you want.

Hey there,
first of all I´d like to say that Zooper is simply the best widget for like... almost everything!
I never ever even think of uccw anymore...
just had to say this
So about the screen:
I really like Googles new outfit, so I had to make one...

Image Fonts
Is it possible to use images as font for Clock Widgets? As in have 10 images 0-1 to use as the clock digits.
Also, what about RSS feeds?
just basics template
Hi,
This is my first attempt at a template. It a 4x1 for the Nexus 4 lock screen.
you will need to rename the file from zip to zw since xda-developers wont allow native zooper template uploads.
I'd like to know what you think but be nice its my first try.

Hello Guys,
I need some help with my template (post #10). I like the planets but the squares with info on them have to be more sci-fi like. More HUD-like.
Any suggestions?
I really like this widget compared to others (UCCW was way too complex for me). Zooper is the right balance.
I'm trying out a homescreen and its started to look good. I am using Apex launcher (and set both margins to zero).
However, there still seems to be some vertical spacing in some widgets i.e. they are not edge to edge.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/rto9ps1m6oqkxb2/Screenshot_2013-05-17-13-52-47.png
For e.g. the two widgets in the centre should have their edges meeting?
Another question I have is about Cell Signal Strength in ASU. While the range is 0 to 31, I never really go above 17 or 18, and the notification bar shows a different level (for e.g. here you can see the cell strength has 3 bars, but in my yellow progressbar I am less than 50%).
Anyway, thanks to the dev, this is really awesome.

For the edges i can-t really help much as this looks a lot like a launcher problem, i will try to reproduce it and let you know. For the signal that-s quite a complex issue since i do not really know if the notification bar one is really API based or uses some native/hardware trick. I will check that as well.
Thanks a lot for your feedback!

For clock (digital) widgets you can use images by creating an iconset, is very easy, i can write an example if you want.
For RSS feeds, well, the "web" module is on my todo list since a while, i definitely need to work on it (with RSS and simple html support).

Thanks
Oh my, this is really inspirational! Been using Zooper for some time now and this is what i've managed to create so far :

I'm using Apex as well and ran into the same "problem"
Seems to be an Apex Problem....
Got the same issue with ASU values. But this seems to be a problem with different network types. Just google ASU and you will find a lot of information about it. Not a Zooper Problem, so I work around that problem by setting the max value (progress bar) to 18. works lke a charm...

Hey, does anyone have or can help me make a WM7 like theme for Phonealarm?
Here's what I have for rlToday. I used the one that was posted here and did a couple of adjustments. What I really want - and I can't do on rlToday - is to integrate the battery, RAM, storage memory, and SDcard memory gauges into the theme. For now, I have it separate under Resco Today plugin and it looks out of place.

**********************************update *****zip file is included in post number 7 ***********
I have my own version.
It is based on phonealarm mixing lots of things, mostly iwise, rockability & littlerain stuff (thanks to them).
It has a bigger clock, with the alarm icon appearing in the middle
On the right side of the clock I have date, digital clock, operator (I have dual SIM), pa profile, and small weather icons + bt, wifi and data icons.
When you click the clock you toogle the screen brigthness (for outdoor instant usage).
I use MVBklight, which can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=379270
In the normal mode I combine it with todayagenda or spb diary
The skin changes with the profile, so while in the car, the bottom part has also big buttons for the tt7, A2DP bt, the voice recognition, set volume and so on.
You must define the applications in the advance tab in pa.
The list of relationships between icons and apps are:
*Image_AppLink12=quickgps, to update tomtom info ota
*Image_AppLink11=iRadares, great app to download tomtom radars, voices, icons and poi file (spain)
*Image_AppLink13=Voice Commander, the one comming with the cuise as default
*Image_AppLink7=Setvolume0.43: also in this forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=395695
*Image_AppLink6=BTAudiotoogle, to send the pda voice to the parrot ck3100
*Image_AppLink2=TomTom, that's clear I think.
*Image_AppLink17=WisBar Advance 3 - [Task Panel]
*Image_AppLink9=backlight (m command)
*Image_AppLink19=void, only to support a background image
*Image_AppLink18=void, only to support a background image
There is also a "home" tab showing the weather instead of the analog clock (at home I am not in a hurry and i have the digital clock as always). When I select the home profile, pa changes the SIM to the private one also. The skin is so different because I want to notice that I changed the SIM (the operator does not reflect this always).
There is a "outdoor" tab with no use so far: should be for a specific setting for outdoor and music oriented, with bt settings and a music tab or plug-in but I have not found anything as I want so far. May be you can give me a start on this area.
I usually combine it with wisbar and wisbar desktop to hide top bar and build a wm7 bottom bar
instead of the top bar I have the meters taken from a statusbar skin (sorry I can not recall the author) since I like it more than the ones in I wise. The meters are part of phone alarm skin. Between the meeters I have a windows incon with the wisbar taskmanager,
usually I combine this being the 1st tab of ultimatelaunch: let me recap: phonealarm as a plugiin of ultimatelaunch, being itself a plugin in wisbar.
I can not upload screenshot but if you want me to post the phonealarm skin I will do. As you see it is very customized so you need to be familiar with phonealarm skinning, so if it is useful for you or for anybody else who may also want to help me improve the graphics side....
I can not post the files right now because since my cruise is in the bedroom and my wife is sleeping but I will do if somebody requests it.
btw. the folder is called iwise so if you have this wonderful skin installed (the best wm7-ish for people who do not want to get complicated) you will have to change forlder name and reference in the phonealmarm .skin files. (updated: already renamed to cruiserrr)
I have customized the same skin in rl-today but I like it more with phonealarm since in rl-today tabs are slow as in phonealarm but with phonealarm you get the profiles functionality at the sametime and better than any other program I have tried so far.
I just wanted to answer you since I read your post a long time ago and I was surprised since I did not see any answer today

Please do post it.
If you go to the PhoneAlarm forum or search here for iWise it is perfect.
Very clean, and nice looking. And it is just a simple cab install. Try to find IWise3 because that was the last one before the dude went crazy and deleted all his posts and stuff.
He has a clean version, professional version and simple version on top of a transparent version. So it basically will meet all your needs.

Btw the skin is not deleted you can find it on pocketmax main page of site..and yes so far that skin is looks same with WM7
cruiserrr skin
Here you are ! The file is below. I have a spanish 6.1. official rom so my sd card is called "Tarjeta de Almacenamiento" and I have windows/start menu/programs also in spanish. May be you have to change something manually.
I have updated the description in the 3rd post above.
The skin is defined with calibri font but I have not included the fonts (I hard reseted some time ago and did not have time to reinstall them, any help to test and add the fond will be welcome).
any help to improve usability with thumbs or to improve graphics is welcome. I have no idea how to make a cab of it.
My wish list to complete my ideal skin would be:
realistic:
improve clock: 1.when clicking to clock most of the times it changes backlight but a few others I still get the change time screen) 2. I think I would like it slightly smaller to give more space to the agenda bottom part.
profile selector: names are not shown completely I do not know why
mail/sms/voice: I ripped the graphics from a jpg file and added the green balloon so they can be better aligned and with better definition.
car buttons: make them more integrated in the style of the skin, and more selfexplanatory
dual sim support: it is supported but I have not been able to benefit from it. I have a single sim with two numbers inside.
unrealistic:
copy+paste tool and hide-top-bar tool with small footprint or included in phonealarm
weather plugin: written sentence explaining today's forecast and ability to define weather should be sync only when active sync'd
clock: different colours and seconds (as in rl-today)
plug-ins: possibility to include plug-ins so they change also with the profile.
profile selection and weather forecast: kinetic scrolling
battery and signal: possibility to show % if wanted and higher area of sensitivity to open details.
apps: possibility to define them in the skin instead of mapping the button to the app and defining the app in the pa settings tool
link to wm6 notifications: I have to open whatever application so that the top bar shows and then check the notification (other than alarms, emails and the rest that are controlled by pa)
multitab: quick multitab functionality when no change profile is defined.
background: may be would be nice to change by profile or by event (missed calls)
Any chance on making this in landscape? It looks awsome!!

robbyr, thanks so much for the compliment !! I have no plans to make it landscape since I only use landscape mode for tomtom and since I have not that much time at this moment but I will happily support anyone willing to try to do it !! The skin files can be opened with notepad and you will see it is not that bad.
In fact it has been difficult for me to build the skin since I can not install any software in my pc so all was done with basic image programs and online converters and try-and-error ...
note: as you know, to completely uninstall the skin is as easy as deleting the cruiser folder and the cruiser*.skin from the pa directory where you have copied it.
thats for qvga correct.. i need vga
Yes, it is only QVGA! I tried to optimize graphics size and I do not need VGA resolution. For QVGA you can double size of all objects and reference to them as coordinates. iWisen is VGA/QVGA since PA is able to handle VGA as QVGA.

with current phonealarm version you only need to add a line to the skin so is vga compatible. simply add
VGA_Skin=1
to each skn file with a text editor and that should fix it.

WisBar Advance Desktop 2: Release 3 [12/19/08]
This is ridiculous!! The theme works great, but I can't seem to get it to ya'll right! WTF! Anyways, go back to the 2nd release, if you never downloaded the third, disregard this. Instructions changed.
For now, the theme will remain as is. Once the update to WAD2 is complete and working, I will rebuild the theme with two extra features, and to make sure there is no error in the theme with the newer version. So, in the meantime, everything works, but if you have any request for the final release, let me know! Enjoy!
Release 3 added:
Those without Audio Manager installed were unable to launch the theme, shortcut was deleted
Added text to application tabs
Added Video Recorder Page
Removed Voice Recorder shortcut, not all may have, similar to Audio Manager
I. How do I apply the theme?
1. Download the attachment "WisBar.zip"
2. Extract to the root, "\", of your device
For those that already have this folder from the last release, I suggest creating a new, blank WAD2 theme, set it as your default, quit WAD, then delete the ENTIRE WisBar folder from your device. Don't worry, all the same files plus more are included.
3. In the "WisBar" folder you'll have two folders, "Project Storm R2", and "Project Storm WAD2"
Move the "Project Storm R2" folder to "\Program Files\Lakeridge\WisBar Advance Desktop\Themes". Leave the other folder in the "WisBar" folder. These files MUST be in these locations to work! Don't worry about memory, sizes are small and it is best to have these on the device.
The reason for the "WisBar" folder is simple, I use this as my general folder for all WisBar items, graphics and others. This includes the WA3 theme.
4. Open WAD2
Choose Settings, then "Change Theme". If you do not see "Project Storm R2" in the list, choose the option to "Scan for Themes", and it should then appear. Select the theme, and apply!
II. On with the Show!
I've tried to use all available possibilities with WAD2, simply to have a better theme, and to use it for what it's worth. For those that used the first release, forget it even existed! This one is MUCH MUCH better. If you are new to WAD2, you will be in for a surprise! There is a lot to it, but once you understand it better, the easier all of this will make sense.
WAD2 is simply a "Virtual Desktop", it allows you to place almost any item you would like anywhere on the screen, with any number of screens. This is why this application is the best for this theme. If you have questions, feel free to ask here, we are all here to help.
For starters, at anytime you can swipe down to return home. Also, all shortcuts use default WM applications, this basically means opening contacts will launch iContact, if that's what you have installed.
III. Home Page
This your first page. Everything you need is here. At the top is the "Status Dock", and the bottom are your "General Shortcuts"
The Status Dock includes:
Live Battery Meter
Live Volume Status [Opens Volume Profile Manager]
Your Carrier Name
Live Phone Signal Strength
Bluetooth Status [Toggles BT power]
Data Connection Status
Wi-Fi status [Tapping toggles Wi-Fi power]
Clock [Opens Clock Page]
Long Date
The space below the date is used for the following notifications, only displayed when needed:
Missed Calls [Missed Call List]
Voicemails [Calls VM, you will need to change! Edit the script to call your own VM]
Emails [Opens Email Inbox, ActiveSync by default]
SMS [Opens SMS Inbox]
MMS [Opens SMS Inbox]
The General Shortcuts:
Messaging [Messaging Center]
SMS [SMS Inbox]
Contacts [Toggles Speed Dial Dock, shortcut to Contacts included]
Calendar [Opens Agenda Page]
Browser [Toggles Web Favorites Dock, PIE preset]
Media [Opens Media Page]
Weather Icon [Opens Weather Page, displays Home info]
Maps [Change to what you like]
IV. Applications Page
Like before, tapping the middle, blank part of the screen will open the applications page. This is fixed, so you don't need to look for it! At first, you're brought to the main applications page.
The bottom four are preset to:
Applications [Opens Page 1/3]
IM Apps [1 Page Only]
Games [Opens Page 1/2]
Tools [1 Page Only, Control Panel preset included]
The top two rows can be customized to launch your eight favorite applications.
To change between pages, swipe left/right, but this does not apply to the Main Applicaiotns Page.
ALL grids are set to "Object Grids". This means you can add more than shortcuts!
V. Media Page
This is really just a quick build. Once WAD2 is updated, the tab bar feature will be added here. Those who are unaware of this feature, it is similar to the tab bar of M2D.
Four buttons, these only change page, the large icons are the shortcuts:
Music [Audio Manager]
Photos [Photos & Videos]
Videos [WMP]
Voice [HTC Voice Recorder]
I used to have a second row for more, but I didn't like the way it looked, plus I'm sure majority of us use one general application for each media category. To change, just edit the button to launch the app of your choice.
VI. Weather Page
Fairly simple, forecast for days 1-4 on left, 5-8 on right. All general data is displayed in the middle. All icons and data are for Multiple Cities! This means the data for everything will update when you change the active city. The right arrow chooses the next city, left chooses prev, and maps brings you to a new blank screen. On the blank images page, just add a weather image of your choice.
Tapping the large weather icon will update the info.
VII. Agenda
Full screen agenda page, tapping anywhere on the agenda opens the calendar. Top left notifier displays remaining appt + all day, opens calendar, top right shows due today tasks + overdue, open tasks.
If you use PB or Diary, simply delete the agenda and add the plugin.
VIII. Clock Page
Simple clock page, arrows switch between digital and analog. If you have HTC Home installed, I suggest changing the digital clock to a HTC home style clock, just be sure to choose the location of the images! Alarm clock opens the default alarm application. This page also acts as a screen saver. On sync, this page will open, when done the home page will open.
*CONTINUED IN POST 2*

VIIII. Additional Notes
Included in this theme was a folder named "Additional Files", it is located under "\WisBar\Project Storm WAD2". Here you will find several different customized links for you to use as you like.
The following are included:
New Note
New Contact
New Appointment
New Task
New Word Document
New Excel Spreadsheet
Open SMS Inbox
Open Specific Inbox
Control Panel Shortcut
Default email link is set to open ActiveSync, to change, change the properties with an application like Resco Explorer and change "ActiveSync" to the name of your Inbox. This is for the WM default mail application.
A great thing about these shortcuts is they are linked to the default WM applications. This means for example, if you use PI8, and choose, "New Contact", it will open PI8, not the default application.
Users of FlexMail 4, see here, lots of great info:
http://kb.webis.net/questions/57/FlexMail+Command+Line+Parameters
When landscape is complete, those with a 320x320 screen can duplicate the theme files and use the copy for the second direction.
WAD2 Release 4 [Final]
Not yet completed, just making of list of things that will be changed. Once WAD2 is updated, these will be posted.
Each App Page will have shortcut to Page 1 [tabs will be shortcut to Main Apps Page]
More Apps Pages [maybe 5 vs. 3]
Lock Page
Tab Bar
Battery Icon [new]
Volume Button [changed, hopefully fixed]
Three Seperate Releases
1. Shortcuts/Speed Dial can be added without entering Author Mode [This means items can't be customized]
2. Shortcuts/Speed Dial must be entered through Author Mode [Allowing more customization to items]
3. Home Page Shortcuts will toggle docks [This means instead of launching email on tap, you will see a dock with inbox specific info, along with the shortcuts to open inboxes and create new emails]
WisBar Advance 3: Release 1 [12/19/08]
NO THIS ISN'T POSTED YET!
The idea for this theme is to match the WAD2 theme, and of course the Storm. At first, this may feel a bit odd to use, but after a day or it works great, for me at least. I have REMOVED the Start and OK/Close buttons. Don't worry, the functions are still there, just looks different. Now, you will have to set the order and functions yourself, the theme unfortunately only includes the graphics. Also, you do not have to set your taskbar like this, but I recommend it, because it will match the WAD2 theme, and looks awesome. There is a lot you can add to the taskbar, but by adding too many things, I feel you lose a "finger-friendly" taskbar. I like to have it simple, and display important info.
I recommend the following taskbar order:
Left Aliged:
Battery [Tap: Casc Start Menu, Hold: WAD2]
Window Title
Right Aligned:
System Notification [Tap/Hold: Show Notifications]
Clock: [Choose whatever]
Network [Tap: Clock/OK, Hold: Menu or Switch Window]
Phone [Tap: Clock/OK, Hold: Menu or Switch Window]
You'll notice I say use the Network and Phone Signal with the same functions. This way, it feels like you just have to tap the right corner to close, instead of tapping a small "X". Again, this is just a personal opinion.
Font looks best at 10pt.
Bottom taskbar:
I have included two different themes, one with a glossed bottom bar, and one with a flat black. I really like the way it looks glossed, but some may like the flat black instead. There isn't a lot of focus on the taskbars, more on the rest, like the buttons.

So far I think I'm good. I'm just surprised at how simple everything is, but looks so dang good. The only thing I'm trying to think about is the dialer, and how it can work for all devices. I've only made dialers with Tiermann's creator, which I think is for the Touch only.
Honestly, I've been staring at the first pic for almost 5 min now putting it all together in my mind! I may have to run to the store for some Starbuck's Double Shots !
Thanks for the support, I'll let you know when I'm stuck.
How big is each icon image for the menus? I could try whipping up a VGA skin if the icons are big enough.
go on!
I started this theme two days ago..
here a pic: I haven't resized anything allready so the buttons are bigger than normal for a 240x320 screen..

Once you get the buttons smaller, it should look very good
Are you going to have them link to new pages or directly to apps?
Alright, so I'm finally putting things together, I'd really like to finish this ASAP, since my new replacement device will be here next week, and I hate working with an incomplete theme.
The only thing I know I won't be able to do is a custom matching icon set, similar to the icons in the first pic of post 1. It won't include the background image, just the icons itself. So far, I've set the background to 60px wide, which should leave the icon around 45x45. If anyone would like to help with that, just PM me and I can send you what I've got.
Thanks!
Some screen shots posted.
Definitely blows away what I posted over at lakeridge forums. Terrific work.
JT, i'd like to help you in whatever way i can...
PM me with what you need.. i'll start working on it this weekend.
More screen shots up ! Check post 1 & 2.
Almost complete, just fixing a few things.
Argggggghhhh I need that WAD2 theme!! looks great!
This theme looks great. Good job!
I can't wait until this is done!!!! It looks amazing.
Hi all,
I've created a "Windows Phone 7" clone Photoshop PSD layout. This is for HTC desire with a resolution of 480x800. Could work on other devices too.
The .psd provided comes with guides (the blue lines in photoshop) and slices for boxes like in the preview below. If you know your photoshop, you can handle it
The Iconpack (gallery):
http://www.dropbox.com/gallery/2370677/1/Iconpack?h=898f93
The Iconpack (zips):
http://users.telenet.be/amahoela/win7phoneicons/
Update 30/09:
- added Digital Clock Widget in 7 colors
Update 29/09:
- added 2 new categories: eBook and Tweetdeck (want more? Just ask )
- Removed zipfiles, added dropbox gallery link instead
Update 26/09:
- added transparent icons (50% black, see screenshot below). Now a total of 3472 icons!
- added transparent widgets
Update 24/09:
- added two new widgets (Settings and SMS Unread Widget) in the post below
Update 23/09:
- added info on box sizes
- added widgets in 6 colors, see 2nd post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=8226239&postcount=2
Update 22/09:
- Added an iconpack with 2928 icons (61 categories, 6 different colors, 8 different sizes)
- New .psd file added, used to create the iconpack

More info on the box sizes:
This is the part where some people have problems...
Here is the full setup for selecting the right DV widget size:
4x1 image -> "3x1" DV widget (resize to 4x1)
3x1 image -> "2x1" DV widget (resize to 3x1)
2x1 image -> "small" DV widget (resize to 2x1)
1x1 image -> "1x2" DV widget (resize to 1x1)
1x4 image -> "1x3" DV widget (resize to 1x4)
1x3 image -> "1x4" DV widget (resize to 1x3)
1x2 image -> "1x3" DV widget (resize to 1x2)
2x2 image -> "middle" DV widget (resize to 1x1)

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Requirements:
- LauncherPro Plus or ADW Launcher (LPP or ADW)
- Desktop Visualizer (DV)
Procedure with photoshop:
Open the .psd file in the zip-file provided in this post. Notice that the icons and texts are in 3 seperate folders in the layer window in photoshop. I like an organised view when I create/design something
You will see blue guidelines. If you don't see them, go to view - extras - guides. Within those blue guidelines you can create the coloured boxes (1x1, 2x1, 3x1, etc.). Make sure you respect the 10px spaces between the boxes. The only thing you need to do is edit the text and replace the icons.
When you have the layout you want, you go to "File" - "Save for web and devices" - select the slice you want to save and hit the save button
Save those images to a folder on your SD card.
Now you longpress on your screen and add widgets for DV. For example (and this may sound weird) if you want to add a 1x1 widget, select the 2x1 option, assign app, clear text in label and ok.
Then you resize the widget with the resize widget function of LPP or ADW (above, our example had a size of 2x1) to 1x1. If you want to add a 3x1 widget, select DV widget site 4x1 and resize it to 3x1.
For the dock you can take a transparent icon for each of the five positions, the last (which is over the circle arrow) can be used to open up the appdrawer. This works in LPP, no idea how that works in ADW
Procedure without photoshop:
Click the Iconpack gallery link and pick what you want, follow last 4 steps above.
Enjoy!
PS: post your screenshot please. would love to see everyone's modifications. mikecoffee had a pretty nifty take on the "Windows Phone 7" layout with an LCARS theme: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=787060
6 Widgets in each 7 colors:
GenieWidget (weather/news)
Smooth Calendar
Music
Settings (toggle wifi, data, GPS, etc...)
SMS Unread Widget
Digital Clock Widget
Transparent Widgets:
Instructions:
Unzip, decide which color you want and save that .apk
Do a nandroid backup
Pull current .apk, and push new .apk to /system/app with ADB (search forums for more info on how to use this)

Scrolling Wallpaper Dock
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Concept
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have been experimenting with what I believe to be a unique use for the scrolling wallpaper. If using LP with 6 homescreens your wallpaper scrolls exactly one dock icon (1/5th of the screen).
I started playing around with using this as a screen indicator and dock icons to jump between homescreens using LPP Shortcuts. Shortcuts to all 6 screens are attached. I found you could effectively use the scrolling effect of the wallpaper in place of a screen indicator (although it goes the wrong way).
It takes a bit of playing around with the wallpaper to get it 100%. I've included a .PSD of one of my files, however the others aren't really in an up-loadable state. I've included all the scrollable wallpapers I've made as well.
I hope you get some fun out of this - If you do make something interesting and unique please post here to share it with everyone else!

I've had a few people wanting a tutorial on how to get the rainbow wallpaper set-up. Please keep comments and question in this thread, I would rather have questions answered publicly so they only have to be answered once.
The white bar is my own and is only available for OpenDesire, the rest of this theme requires the following and should work on any rom;

They are shortcuts to a different home screen when using launcher pro (might need the plus version). Extract them to your "download" folder of you sd card then either long press on the homescreen and select shortcuts - launcher pro shortcuts or, as I do, long press on your launcher dock and change the shortcut of the item to the corresponding homepage you want to go to.
With my setup the far left dock item should be linked to screen 6 with the far right linked to screen 2. Fill in the gaps. Screen 1 becomes a hidden screen this way.
Hope that helps!

Thanx maan! Now i have other question! xD I dont know how can i put the Wallpaper as you. You get in the center and the 1 and the 5 homescreen with the circle of the wallpaper full, but i dont get this, or the circle is not in the center or in the 5 or 1 homescreen only i see a middle circle.. I have 5 Icons Row in homescreen and I dont know if this can affect...
That looks übercool!
Should just need 6 homescreens.
In launcher pro;
Menu > preferences > homescreen settings > number of screens > 6

ehm ... how do you get the indicators to move through the dock?
after a look at your 'Scrolling_Wallpapers.zip' i find the dock and centered indicator included into the Wallpaper *.png's ...
and as far as i can see, there are no icons attached to the *.lps files ...
even though i might out myself as stupid, but i don't get it and don't know how to install :/
p.s. yeah i know how to install / import lpp shortcuts but i don't get how the images change / indicators move
edit: figured it out.
Completely OT but what are the second 2 games in the list? Big fan of RoboDefence and AngryBirds so hopefully the second 2 are just as good.
i don't know the bowling ball, but the creature with four tiny legs and the long nose should represent the game 'doodle jump'
edit: regarding my question two posts earlier ... you may now call me stupid!
i stopped thinking and just started trying
Thanks a lot...Great work...Awesome
You can leave the Dock untouched ... put the labels for the screens over the dock icons and add an gesture with launcher pro to each icon ... perhaps i will post some screens the next few days for mod res @ 200.
Can you post the rainbow wood source pic please ... looks great!

Hi, your theme is great. Just now I have the first problem. I can not change wallpaper. Im use LauncherPro Plus to use and when you try to change the wallpaper, nothing happens. Always be the old one. Sorry for English. thx
Are the page icons (i.e. Tools, Games, Home) available for download? Terrific setup btw.
You're a genius! Thanks so much for this

Please what widget did you use for clock and calendar.
For the clock, it seems like you're using Digital Clock but with a different font than mine ? If yes, how did you change the origial font ?
Zooper Widget from 1.80 supports Bitmap Iconsets and allows you to create your own! What it means? It means that you can create widgets with Bitmaps able to change based on ZW variables such as Battery, Weather, Location or anything else!
Important This thread is for Iconsets only, if you want to share themes and screens please use this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2277966
So? Well, you can create a widget with the background that changes based on your location like Google Now does, or show a different image during the day and another at night, or use a bitmap when alarm is set and another when there is no alarm, you can create battery widgets, weather or even show bitmaps based on Tasker variables (and LLama soon). You can also mix all this things up in an unique icon pack with user selectable "modes".
Iconsets are basically ZIP files with an XML configuration and Bitmaps or a TTF font. You can distribute Iconsets alone (this is supported in both free and pro) storing them in the "iconsets" directory on the SD card or you can distribute a template using it, iconset will be included automatically during save.

No i didn't, but its quite easy to do if you have the icons, just:
- Download the weather iconset attached to the main post
- Uncompress it, replace the images with the sense icons
- If you want add more conditions if you have icons not currently in use
- Zip it again and place it in the SD card under "Iconsets"
You will then be able to use it in Zooper Widget, just add a "Bitmap Iconset" object and select your new iconset!
First off, thanks to johnuopini for letting me beta / help out with the widget.
Here are a couple of Icon Sets and examples of them in action. The first is a HoloUI / Google Now combination. It contains custom made battery and charging icons as well as Google Now inspired weather icons.
The second is a minimal Wifi Signal strength meter. It defaults to a cell signal icon when wifi is not available, therefore it may not be the best choice for non-cellular devices. Feel free to modify it for your own uses.
I'm working on creating a windows app which will automate the majority of the coding for making the icon sets. I'll be working with johnuopini / frenzy and only post when he's satisfied with it. Everything I do will go through him.
I hope you enjoy my icon sets. Free to use, distribute, and modify, preferably with credit. I'll post more when I have a chance.
Here are a few screenshots of the widget in action
(please note that this is combined with a windows phone style launcher called launcher 8. Every tile other than the two largest, and the tiles which are just a single image, is a seperate zooper widget)

Here are a few screenshots of the widget in action
(please note that this is combined with a windows phone style launcher called launcher 8. Every tile other than the two largest, and the tiles which are just a single image, is a seperate zooper widget)

if there is ever an error in the weather widget it will show an empty battery as the default image if it does let me know what the weather is supposed to be you can find this out the checking the #W_CODE# output using the text module. Let me know what image messes up and I'll loom at the config to verify that there are no typos. This is a complete set based on googles images, I may update it later with new but matching images.
Great work! This is occupying most of my screen space now! One issue though, my battery is at about 87% and its showing time left as ~50m which is wrong because my battery lasts at least 3 hours with heavy use. Other then that it looks fantastic!

Can you post a screenshot?
Regarding the battery strange, are you using the latest version, did you give the widget at least 1/2 days to get a good accuracy on the battery estimation?

Yes its updated and I've been using it for about a day now. No need for new screenshot, its similar to the one in the 1st post. See how it shows your battery at 99% but time remaining is <10m . I think what its doing is showing the time remaining to reach 100% when charging...but when unplugged, I think it should show time remaining before the battery hits 0%. Not really an error or bug, just the way I think it should work. :good:

Ok, i'll send you an email, but would you mind posting a screenshot showing the time remaining when unplugged along with battery %? Right now mine says " Discharging 69% , ~30M LEFT ". even though at 69% my battery will last for a good 3 hours more...
I am trying to use one of the iconsets but they do not come up as one of the options. I created the path /mnt/sdcard/Iconsets and saved the zip files to that location but they do not show up. Only choices I get are what I am assuming are the three default choices.
What am I doing wrong?

I don't know if its required or not, but in "/mnt/sdcard/Iconsets" you have Iconsets capitalized, that MAY cause an issue, but I don't know it it does. The zip files themselves go in that directory, do not extract them. Also Make sure that the Zip was downloaded correctly and contains a config file and a folder structure consistent to what is designated in the config file (usually a single 'icons' folder).

I have tried upper and lower case still no go. The iconset files are downloaded straight from the OP with no mods. They look to have the xml and icon folder as required.
edit: Duh! my fault I was trying to use scalable instead of bitmap, all works fine. I really like this widget good job!

I attached the screenshot...Notice that it shows time left as ~40M, signifying that my battery will only last another 40 minutes, even though I am still at 91% charge. It should be saying at least 2 hours left. Other than that I'm loving the widgets so far!

This is quite strange, please try clearing the cache for the widget, rebooting your phone and give it a full discharge cycle, it should show better data then, if not then send an email to [email protected] so we can debug the issue.
