[Q] S4 i9505 shuts off at random

Hello Xda,
I'm having trouble with this for a 2 weeks already and now it really starts to anoy me. my phone randomly shuts off, no error or nothing. just off.i can reboot with no problems. I'm running on omega v9 with kt kernel v 08.09.2013.

I think I have the same problem, have a look into my thread. It seems to be a motherboard malfunction... :crying:

Hope so for you, usualy not bro (custom status and flash counter raised), but maybe they won`t check and you`re lucky.

- Flash stock rom from sammobile via Odin
- Root using chainfires cf auto root
- Install and use triangle away
- Use permanent unroot option in SU app
- Do a factory reset
After that everything is back to stock.

K thanks for the info. will give that a shot. but if it is permanent unroot does it really means permanent? or i need to root it again

[Q] N9005 Can't Connect To Pc after Xnote built 18

hi friends today i flashed X note built 18 in my N9005 they gave kernal v2.1 i selected that
but now i cannot connect my mobile to my Pc Windows 7 64 bit
please help me guys

yes off course bro i they said about stock kernal V2.1 specially for N9005 so i flashed that only still storage not mounting to my Pc

kernel v2.1 is x-note kernel. You need stock nf4 kernel such as available here

use civz kit kat xplorer kernel and it will work fine (if you didnt remove the mtp application while deboating )

My note 1 still running fine despite i keep on flashing roms since the past 2 and half years. Don't know how many cycles, maybe tens of thousand, theoritically.

any modding we did on our phone is risky but provided that we follow the proper way there shouldn't be any problem. Still nobody can guarantee each phone behaves the same.
Soft brick such as missing efs maybe can recover.

Yes it's booting working well no problem but I can't do a factory reset

[Q] CWM for NH6 [SOLVED]

Hi guys...I just flashed latest firmware NH6 and have lost my root access ..I have tried the CWM for 4.4 but when i boot in recovery i get the stock recovery...does anybody have CWM for NH6 ??

Nope...(checked around..no 1 working with latest firmware.. )..wait for a few days...then it will be available!!

Yea you can do cf root or even you can use cwm method.. you can use any method.. both are working...

all kitakat cwm recovery working on any kitkat version just flash it and enjoy

I tried the cf root method and rooted my phone successfully rooted my phone but no CWM ...anyways thanks everyone

cwm not working.(hving nh6)..tried several times..in odin shows done(something like *done* only)...but i always get in stock recovery....

Try flashing CF autoroot first and then CWM worked for me ...

dudetry clearing cache and make sure auto reboot is not ticked when flashing ... after flashing remove the battery for 5-10 secs and then reboot in recovery mode

[Q] Fake IMEI after downgrading from lollipop to kitkat S4

Hi mates
I recently installed or flashed Lollipop 5.0.1 (I9500XXUHOA7) then after couple days i downgraded it to Kitkat 4.4 2 (I9500XXUGNH2) then after installing it there wasn't a network or signal (no service) then i knew that my S4 have an fake IMEI after i checked ur forum i tried many ways to fix it but it doesn't :/ i don't like tbh lollipop that much still my s4 now running on it can i get back kitkat 4.4.2 on my s4 running well without fake imei i need it so bad :/ thanks dears waiting for a solution.
P.s: I am not that experienced on flashing and fixing so please help me

No to be honest i tried it from xda forum but it didn't worked or i didn't knew how :/ how
i installed a big huge program forgot it's name on my pc but didn't know how to :/

Yes when i tried and installed an app which is done after root like root explorer i tried to back it up but it was unable to get into the efs folder gave me a msg which told me u must purchase it i couldn't back up it anyways dammit

Oh cool mate but there's some questions in my mind i flash first 4.4.2 then do this right or on lollipop sorry for being newbie but i don't have that experience thanks for patients man i will do this soon when i get home am at work now thanks again for ur time :good:

Once your bootloader is updated you can't downgrade it. A major-version baseband requires the updated bootloader.

I read that after u flash back stock kitkat u have to flash the lollipop modem as well but in AP.and u`ll be good

Install twrp with odin you can get it from official site and root from chainfire site https://download.chainfire.eu/696/supersu/ flash via twrp and you are good to go
