Edit Theme Framework? To work on Official Froyo Sense Rom by AdamG.

Please could someone kindly edit the framework of this theme so it works on the official froyo sense rom by AdamG.
It will be much appreciated.

I'm also interested in this... the Minimalistic theme is epic.. and if we could get it running on the official Sense 2.2 Froyo build it will be even more epic!
If I had the knowledge I would do it but i don't...

I will have a go at it this weekend..... almost done with a theme with glass taskbar... and its OpenDesire 2.0 compatible.....

You've removed all the apps?
The apps have also been customized to suit the theme so I'm going to put the apps into the theme.
I'll put it up in a bit.

i only replaced the files in the drawable-hdpi-v4 folder ... no apps icons there... that i saw....!
do you have a screenshot of what u mean please??

Yeh the original file had apps in it which were customized to go with the theme.
They're not there with the file I downloaded from your link.
Please could you put those apps back in.
And then re-upload it.

I didn't flash what he put up at all.
But the original does have a nice black notification bar and all windows have black bars too.
I want all the apps within the theme too, I tried doing it but failed.

Oh come on there has got to be someone on this forum who can do it.

[INFO] Theme compatibility for Kyrillos' rom v9

Hello again, here is a mini guide to install custom themes in kyrillos rom v9
What about themes? How can i know if a theme is compatible with kyrillos rom?
- Firstly, you have to check it it supports nine lockscreen. (If it doesnt, contact the developer of the theme and ask him to enable his theme 9 lockscreen support). Here is a thread that has the theme list, so you can easily find a theme.
- You can replace any of the theme files EXCEPT: Settings.apk, android.policy.jar, framework.jar, services.jar. If you do replace any if those, your phone will bootloop. (If it is a CWM zip file, just open it and delete the above files.)
- Enjoy the theme

This mini guide should be great help to ppl like me who finally started fiddling arnd with their g3 a year after purchase ..... Unemployment surprisingly leaves one with a lot of free time...so a big you know what

I get bootloops on installing update.zip on Kyrillos 9.1 , Kyorarom 0.4 , deodexed jp6 as well ... first two are 9 lockscreen and other 5 lockscreen mod ..
Anyone can tell how to install ??? or someone tried out?
(after installing from CWM i wiped the dalvik-cache too)

but after removing Settings.apk, android.policy.jar, services.jar these files also still bootloops .

its a JB style statusbar notification with a grid toogle,
but i just want a simple statusbar pull down notification
how can i replace the systemUI without messing the theme sir?
please help..
im trying to learn decompiling system ui
but still i havent figure it out.

Here is your statusbar....try it..---

Download and open root explorer,and move this to /system/app folder.Replace it.Change the permission of SystemUI.apk by holding on it ,as screenshoot ,tick them boxes just and reboot your phone.

it worked sir

but it is still the same jb statusbar.
what i meant is that
i want the simple gingerbread
pull down statusbar.
which starts with a header(digital clock & date)
a single line toggle buttons,
and so on with the notifucations.
please help sir

In what apk is the wallpaper (background) for settings? Android 4.4.2 GNG4 or GNG8.
I have not found to Sec-settings or Framework !!

I guess SecWallpaperChoser.apk
In the folder "res" and then "drawable sw360dpi" there are all wallpapers.
Did you mean this?

No, That's put a background on settings instead of the blue background in my compiles rom.Is not a wallpaper !
This is a background image in apk, but I can not find where......

i've change once,it's somewhere on framework but i forget the name find it in res>drawable mdpi/hdpi/xhdpi folder

I know how to activate it with quick shortcut maker but if it needs an app just like quick glance does then the easiest way is to get it is find a ROM for note 3 which has the app find it extract it at the same place on your system change the permissions and reboot see if it works quick glance works after doing said steps.

Yes I have quick glance working fine that's why I think that there's a missing apk for festival effect,there are modded roms the thing is to extract that files

You can try to download this ROM here http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...t/rom-n9005-kitkat-4-4-4-beta1-note4-t2956717 and search at the system/app or system/priv-app for the festival effect app I think more or less the name of the app is called festival so it will be easy to intendify it and copy it at the same spot on your system and change the permissions....also I'm not sure if the ROM has the app but it is your best bet right now

If you want it you can download my rom. I'm sorry but I don't have time to provide a detailed how-to.
You need files from system/etc - change two lines in floatingfeatures.xml and add FestivalDic.xml here, add the 4 festival apks (you will find them as they have festival in the name), secthemechooser.apk, theres a couple of themes (dreamy & coloredpaper), add system/festival folder and change keyguard.apk with one that supports it..
In SecSettings.apk you will need to add some .pngs and there is also a couple of smali changes.
Hope this helps
By the way I haven't had a look at any S6 firmware so I don't know anything about it yet

you say 4 festival app ? i founded Greeting / Greeting widget / wallpaperFestival but what is the name of the number 4 ? ^^
Without modding SecSettings i see all (my phone is 901F, rom is made by samsung from 906 i think).
for effect in just need edit keyguard i think ^^

Could you please add some themes for festival in your zip ? Just enabled festival but there are no themes. And only 2 for launcher...

Yeah I've messed around with the greeting card apks before.
I noticed in your floatingfeatures.xml you have the ui feature correct for themes & festival but you also have a line to enable festival effect and you have it set to false. I would delete that line
